I'm starting to like the dub, not as good as the original, but still good.

It's nice that L has a bit of a british accent considering he was raised in an orhanage in England.

The dubbing is more impressive than I would have thought.

Ryuk's voice was just...wow. Light's voice still needs improvement.
I wonder what Misa and Mikami will sound like. >_______>

    To be honest, I think Mikami's gonna have a high-pitched voice. <_<

Oh yes, L sounds awesome in the dub. =D

I really love L's VO. It's good to know they kept the same tone as the Japanese dub.

I hope Misa sounds (at least somewhat) the same as before. Though it is rather hard to transition from "horny school girl" to "American."

Just throwing that out there. <_>

    Lol @Darky

I know! ^^ That made me squeal with utter joy every time I heard it. I'm glad the dubbers are being creative with him~ =D

Mikami will prolly sound something like Gaara from Naruto or Sesshy from IY.
I hope to god Laura Bailey plays Misa. She could OWN at that.

I figured that they'd use 'Delete' instead, cause thats what they translated it to in the manga...
I was way too used to 'elliminate' too, though x3

Second Eppy just got taken off today, sorry man =\
And Libre, it appears you are right ._.

    Alright, well...
Third Episode was great. L's accent is really strong in this eppy =D I love his VA. His personality is coming out a lot better now that we've seen more of him.

Oh yes, and Ryuk is still love.

    "Well, well, Daddy's a policeman!"
That line... and the way Ryuk said it made me lol. A lot.

EDIT: Episode 4-- Just as good. Ray bothered me though >.> He sounded like a thug.

I just got the chance to watch the dub. I'm actually surprised how good it is. Ryuk sounds just as I imagined and L's accent was a nice touch.

Yeah, thats about the only thing that bothers me. I know he is kinda the smartest detective alive, but, his childish side won't come out as much with the voice he has in the english dub =/ And thats a bit troublesome because L is the epitome of childish sometimes x3

    My point exactly.

    L is a 24-year old with the voice of a teenager x3
