There are so many of these out there, but I decided to have a play on Garageband (yes, I have a Mac) and make my first remix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZH5fG4okCQ0 It needs a lot of work, but what do you think of it?
Wasn't bad but it was mostly the song transcribed on other instruments. I think you should have some other backing in there. Maybe a bass or some other instrument you could use for rhythm. I personally would use the guitar as well but that's just me being me. Maybe you could also compose some original sections for it as well since a remix isn't meant to be the song just done on another instrument(or synth thingy if you don't consider it an instrument). Overall, it was good for a first try. ^^ Also, the backing drums were probably more well done than what I can do so far with the program I use. XD
Quite good for a beginner. The 'piano' sounded like a organ, which pleased me for some reason (Mostly due to watching Pheonix Nights). Overall, very good.
