so Im told maltesers are good. whoopers are the American version and they suck should i get some maltesers?
I would have issues taking the jump there. I've never had a malt candy that didn't make me feel like I was eating chalk.
I hear candy in England tends to be better than US candy. Authentic English folk, inform me if this is true.
From what I've heard our sweets tend to be a lot sweeter than yours. I've not had much American stuff though to compare against and I don't understand your love of peanut butter. Ughh. I don't like peanuts though so that's probably just me. Also it took me ages to realise that by jelly you mean jam. I was thinking you put what you call jello on sandwiches which made no sense.
Well if you don't like peanuts it makes sense why you wouldn't like peanut butter. :\ I personally don't like nuts in general. There is probably some weird guy out there who puts jello on their sandwiches.
I love peanut butter. I'm perfectly happy to take out a spoon and dig in. Though I don't care for the peanut butter put in candy as much. All of that sugar messes with the consistency or something, I'm not really sure.
I know right? It's why I hate that candy which name escapes me that puts peanut butter and chocolate together. It's super gross.
ftfy ;D & yes it is. But I think the US gets a lot more variety than we do. Our chocolate is better but I actually like American 'candy'
maybe candy in the uk is better, but srsly on tumblr everyone in the uk thinks the us doesn't have any candy "OI WOT D'YOU MEAN U HAVEN'T GOT WANGLYDOODLEWOPS????? [posts picture of twizzlers]"
what does it say about me that i saw whoppers and thought y'all were talking about bk edit: just realized i read 'whoopers' as 'whoppers,' in the space of one post i'm not only a fat american but i'm also apparently illiterate ( this makes having a degree in english super awkward )
I was curious so I looked it up. They’re also sold in Canada, New Zealand and Australia and exported to many other European countries apparently.
They are beautiful. Also if you tilt your head back, put one on your lips and gently blow, you can make them levitate :O
I go to a grocery store that deals primarily in imported goods a couple of times a year and the British candy is definitely better than the US candy. The chocolate is creamier, the fruity stuff is tangier, and the Jaffa Cakes are existingier.
