Just a genuine question for you today.

Why is it that whenever you associate and generalize the KHV Whovians, one only mentions either Cat, Enzy, Fearless, or Misty?

I'll have you know I've been a fan for almost 10 years now, dees gurlz are babeh fanz.

Why is Arch the Type-0 or Sercret of Mana fan? Why is Dinny the Dick Grayson fan and Midnight the Kitty Pride fan? Why is Amaury the "bad" show fan? Why am I the comic book fan? Why is Vivi the Castle fan? Why is libre the Gaming Section's life force?

Because without him, we all know that the Gaming Section would die a slow and painful death until Dr. Misty finally decides that it's time to pull the plug on its life support. R.I.P.

I never thought I'd see questions answer questions in such a decisive and tactically successful manner.

You know, before I became a regular here I had no idea what Dr. Who was, and in the short time that I have known about it I have gone from being interested in it, to wanting nothing to do with it. Maybe it's for the better that you're not immediately recognized as a fan of something with such an obsessed fandom?

And if that happened, I'd consider watching it.
    Because it's Bruce Boxleitner.

I feel the exact same way, though I've been a fan only for a year and a half now... which is nothing in comparison to your 10 years 0_0

same story here, except i found out about it through tumblr. there are a lot of things tumblr has driven me away from.

i don't like to associate myself with fandoms. mostly because i don’t think i’m one for fandoms in the first place, because i'm always bouncing back and forth between all my interests. i can't stick with something too long or else i start to get sick of it. Mass Effect is like my favorite video game series but i don't want to surround myself with it at all times, same goes with any other thing i like. i don't understand how people do it. not to mention the unnecessary drama that comes from fandoms. there's always bullshit in the mass effect fandom like OMG FEMSHEP IS BETTER THAN MALESHEP. there's a lot of stupid social justice crap because BioWare has to pander so hard to LGBT community and make them feel like special snowflakes. ugh.

It is hard to onow who is a whovian since some of them are not known as one like myself for example. I've been a fan since the start of the ninth Doctor's time. I am just not obsessed with it like most.

Same, my dad showed me it when I was really young, I just dont gush over it like Cat and Ienzo does, my enjoyment for the show is more subtle, as opposed to them.

Cat and I don't like to be subtle :3 I don't talk about it all the time though, I know it annoys people so I tend not to bring it up unless I feel it could actually be relevant.

I understand people who don't do fandoms and find the fan girls and boys annoying but to them their obsession is more than just a show/game/band etc. it gives them an escape, a happiness and in some cases can boost their self esteem. So as long as they keep it to themselves or within the fandom and aren't prejudice against the non-fans then it's fine : D

Precisely! And really, not doing something because a lot of people are is just as bad as doing it, imo...

To be honest the only reason I could really see anyone on here "advertising" their fandom would be through avatars or signatures, and let's be frank now, how many of us actually use KH related material for them? lol

idk i mean do what y'all want just saying.
