I thought the general consensus was that, aside from FFXIV (oh God the fail) FFXIII was the worst FF game to date. Mainly for its command system and ****ING LINEAR GAMEPLAY.

More or less, yes. When I was at a video game concert last month, one of the last songs they played they announced as "And now a song from Final Fantasy..." and the MC let the audience scream out numbers, when someone said "THIRTEEN" everyone went silent for a second and then started booing. Then One-Winged Angel happened and it was beautiful.

FFXIII was one of the best looking FF this far. the music was great the story was EPIC and...the best part I LOVED EACH CHARACTER!

they werent the usual "emo" which was nice...Lightning was more of a hard ass than anything but no emo.

i loved it. you should love it.

Well I'm going to leave before this turns into some big ass thread people will not stop posting in, until it eventually fills up with noobs who talk about something not having to do with this topic.

 

I thought FFXII was the worst FF game to date. One of the biggest let downs for me. Couldn't even get past 10 hours. It was like torture!

Pretty much this. The game wasn't what I had hoped but i loved it nevertheless.

 

FINAL FANTASY XIII IS AS <33333 AS CAN BE.


I found IX a bit annoying and never finished it, but it's still pretty good.
I would actually play as many pre-IX games as possible, then play IX and be like "OH ****, THAT'S A REFERENCE."

 

They really need to get VI up on the psn store soon. I'm dying to play it again. Quite literally dying. It's the only cure to this illness.

 

Well I've heard FFXIII's music, and it's not bad. It's one of the most relaxing and enjoyable soundtracks in video games.

 

im kinda hoping that (and im sure they will) SE puts VI on the 3DS...i heard that they were having issues with V on the DS so they are planning (?) on releasing it on the 3DS but im not sure if thats been confirmed. but i realllllllllllllllllly wanna try out V and i wouldn't mind buying VI again...i have it for the GBA but...in 3D...so much better xD
