    While I don't understand why people torrent media or hack into the play station network, I know that it is something not for me. I can sort of see doing it for the lulz, but it is still, technically, illegal. Please stop, don't do it. I'm your friend, I'm looking out for you.

    Personal gain. Also, people don't always have the money to buy stuff, or they don't want to buy it.

    As of hacking stuff for profit, I don't like, but hacking is amazing, especially when it's used for good.
