    {I apologeize if this needs to be moved.}

With my present semester winding down to crunchtime, I'd like to hear some methods of how you deal with stress. Search didn't come up with anything like this so I thought I'd start one.

For me when I feel stressed, I like to take a couple of deep breathes to calm myself before writing what is making me stressed. Then I put the sheet of paper through a shredder.

    Now it's your turn.

the only ways i really know of is to take breaks and relax, punch something (like a pillow, but it feels better to hit a person, lol), and to get one of those stress balls that you squeeze

I just listen to music while I either write stories, poems, and whatnot or draw, sketch, and paint. Painting gets the stress out really quick... plus its really fun (^^)

I like listening to music, talking to my friends, not thinking about the subject that's making me stressed, and just laughing at something funny. Those normally help for me. ^_^

Doing yoga for an hour than taking a nap. Not for too long though;I'd go with 15-60 minutes. I also rant to my friends. ^^

It depends....I usually would like to listen to music but if I can't I like to imagine the person I'm angry at the moment is being horribly tortured and eventually killed (it's fun try it =D)......or I like to squish my squishy ball I like to call squishy >:3

    I sleep.

In most cases it depends on what's stressing you though. Friends, family, school, relationships, etc. I just sleep though. Sleep is gewd.

It varies from person to person, some are more aggressive, some may cry out the stress, really it is what you feel personally will get rid of it.

For me it's mixed, i'm a person that tends to bottom up things, which yearly makes me go a bit emo for like a week, but at times it can make me mad and and get aggresive, it depends on the situation. But breathing in and out heavily can help you control yourself a bit, and then find something to make you forget about it like music or playing video games, and it should pass, though just ignoring it isn't best.

I once broke down and cry for three hours I had a watch on. And when I was done I did not want to take to any one.

I like playing video games. Something else to focus on besides the stresses in question. Not necessarily fighting/shooters but like an rpg. Lets you get loosened up and refreshed.

Some good ideas so far. xD I actually do carry a stressball in my backpack now.

I usually go for a walk to calm down & think things through or forget everything that is happening n' think of something really funny or happy.

Usually I try to take in a few deep breaths, and think about the positives about whatever-it-is. Sometimes drawing random doodles, or talking to my friends help too.

there was this thing of my teacher's cabinet it was a peice of paper and it said:

"to remove stress bang head here"

...and it had thes circle where it said "Here" xD

anyways I just like to listen to music and try to just relax...draw a little and listen to music and dance. then I try to sort the problem.

I like to go on walks and try to find a place to... find myself. For the most part I try to find something that will just calm me down.

i cant really handle stress. i stress way too much and i got bald spots and need injections. so i just hope that never happens to anyone else cause its not fun having a permanent dent in your head. anyways, i normally just cry and let it all out.

I suppress it inside me and it continuously builds up until I crack. That's bad, isn't it?
