Deadman Wonderland rp?

I've watched the anime Deadman Wonderland and the idea was interesting. I thought it would be neat to make an rp about it. Not including Ganta, Shiro or the other characters in the anime or manga. I haven't gotten my hands on the manga so I don't know if it really ended where the anime did or not. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a roleplay like that. It wouldn't matter if you haven't read or watched Deadman Wonderland since I'll explain everything.

 

Do I even have to say how good this idea is? Sign me up!

 

It's an interesting idea, but it depends on what kind of story you want. It is a bit tricky though, because of all the background that is involved with the show. It depends on which canon you chose to follow, the manga or the anime. It would probably be easier to do it with the anime, since it is only 12 episodes, and there doesn't appear to be a second season in the wings (not that I know of anyway). With the manga, it's trickier. According the Wikipedia, the manga is still ongoing in Japan, but it is currently on hiatus. The first five volumes were published in English by Tokyo Pop, but they went out of buisness (in the US) last year (I only have the first four volumes). Tokyo Pop manga is practially impossible to come by now unless you go to a library or a second hand store. There's always fan-scans, but everyone has their own view on that (personally against them). Also, the manga and anime have different rules, as well as the manga having a number of different characters.

So, following the anime's storyline is probably best.

Of course I was going to follow the anime since it's the only thing I've seen regarding Deadman Wonderland and I think you've told me a zillion times how Tokyo Pop is long gone. Though a second season would've been NICE! Though Mockingbird scares me....I thought he was a girl at first... Anyway, I don't intend to use the canon in the anime, but replace them with variations of mine or anyone else's own OC's.
