I just picked up the game, I've barely really gotten anywhere on it, but I love it.
I traded in a few games at a Gamestop to get it, but it was totally worth it.
This is actually my first First-Person Combat-style game, I've got Portal and Minecraft, but neither of those aren't intense combats.

PS3? I'd gladly play, if it were X-Box 360 you were asking about...

I dunno if it's better than Dead Rising or not, but it's a favorite in my short list of zombie games. Heck, games overall. It's just beautiful. Well the Resort...

I don't replay games very often, but I did this one. c: Played the entire story with my friend in co-op too. :v

Word of warning/advice (at least until PS3 gets a patch): If you have the game on PS3, and you don't play co-op, make sure you have your game mode set to Single Player. If you play single player in a co-op setting then there is a chance it won't save your game. Happened to my friend today (he even lost a trophy). I think that will be a fix in the upcoming patch though.

This is why I think every game should have an optional save-whenever-you-damn-well-want feature. Like Fallout 3.

    EDIT:

That's what happened to me. I played from Act 2 to Act 4 with that option on. I had to start all from Act 2 again after that incident. Man that totally killed my will to continue DI again D:

How bad are the bugs in this game?

Well considering PS3 is the only one that has yet to receive a patch, and I assume you want it for PS3:

The savegame issue I stated above is basically the only one. But if you play single player, GO TO OPTIONS AND CHANGE GAME TYPE TO SINGLE PLAYER, NOT CO-OP and then sign out of PSN just for safety reasons. Co-Op saves fine.

Occasionally a zombie will "freeze," but I've only had that happen like two times. And it helps you kill them, so no complaining from me. :v

Other than that, I dunno. It's mainly just the saves. That I noticed.

Okay, well that's good. I was planning on playing it through on single player.

Just picked it up today. The controls are a little clunky, but it is so much fub.

If you haven't already, you should try out the Analog controls. It's actually pretty cool when you get the hang of it. (And there's a trophy for killing 150 zombles with it)

Can I sell the misc. Items? Or will I need most of these for weapon building?

They can be used for modding, but you can sell them too.

I like Analog better. Seems like it's one of those things that's tough to master, but once you do, it will be really effective. It adds some depth to the game.

I finally have gotten past what I was stuck on...
I began with Logan, but I ended up doing horrible.
Then I made a new game, and chose (I can't remember her name), the Asian woman that masters sharp weapons.
I am currently on the mission where you have to go to the Hotel Parking Garage, and it's better than it was with Logan o:

I think of it this way: I can hit the part of the body I want to hit the WAY I want to hit it.

    Xian.

What part were you stuck on?

I don't like the lower stamina Logan has. x:

I did notice that Xian had much more stamina than Logan, I liked that.

I believe I was stuck on some part where you had to...I'm not sure, actually...Hahah...But I remember that I had trouble with "Thug" Zombies with Logan, but with Xian, it's a breeze.
*Kick, run away* Thug swipes *Kick, run away* Thug Growls *Run up and slice with blade three times*
    And repeat.
My Logan strategy went something like...
*Kick, attempt to back up* Thug swipes *Get knocked down*
    Repeat.

Ah yeah, and on single player, dying against a thug means a new thug appears with full HP. :v I HATE THEM SO MUCH. And Infected too.

The only problem I have is Thug, actually...
Infected are simple for me, blade to the face, usually results in a one-hit kill, if it doesn't, they usually fall down, and I beat them with whatever weapon I have. c:

So, what's everyone's most hated, or, personal creepiest Zombie?

    Mine is the Suicider, :c

Recently obtained guns. Just finished that mission where you had to
"stop their suffering". Kill the infected remains of Mugambe's wife and daughter. I found this part very sad...
