ALICE nodded and sat down in one of the chairs. She set her body up, ready for charging. Emotion = Zero. Turn on? The same input went through her head. ... Emotions activated. Standy activated in 5 mintues.

 

Haido went over and looked at the input sockets. He then organized the needed wires, so he would plug them up in the right sockets. After this, he plugged her up and a couple soft beeps came from the computer, undecating that the charging had began. "There you go..."

 

ALICE nodded, feeling herself charge up. A flashing appeared in front of her eyes. Standby Activated She shut her eyes and lent back in the chair.

 

Haido noticed this and went to the other set of cords. He sat down and lifted up a cover on his ears which showed the input sockets. He plugged each one up and the three beeping noises played once again. The only difference between him and ALICE was that he didn't have to go on standby while charging. As he charged, he closed his eyes and began going through his memory banks.

 

ALICE was fully charged. Standby aborted. Emotion = Default Seven. Fully charged. She opened her eyes and took out the cord. Putting it by the laptop, she looked at Haido and smiled.

 

"Finished already?" Haido asked. He then noticed she smiled. "You smiled?" he asked, wondering if she had an error or something.

 

ALICE nodded. "I don't take too long to charge up. Plus emotions run down my battery a little too. So i've turned them back on!" She said, her voice full of happiness. She carried on smiling.

 

Haido, for once in awhile, chuckled slightly seeing her reaction. "So you decided to do it then." he said as he unplugged himself and closed the cover on his ear.

 

"Heh, i'm happy-go-lucky with emotions." ALICE sighed. Looking at the door, she frowned. "Its probably just me but... Alice would never stay out this long by herself."

 

"Are you wondering where Mio is?" Haido said, wondering himself. She usually be back by now, even if she took the long way back.

 

ALICE nodded. "Should we go look for her?" She asked him. "If shes in trouble then you'd know, right?"

 

"Yeah, We should." Haido said. The Lights on his ears turned white as he tried to call Mio's cell phone. He walked out of the room, and then the mansion. She didn't answer, and he hung up his internal phone(oxo?). The color changed back to its usual color on his ears and he waited for ALICE.

 

ALICE followed after him. Watching his ears, she frowned. "Not picking up?" Taking out the jacks from her pocket, ALICE held them in one hand and a ball in the other.

 

Haido nodded. "She has a tracking chip in her though, I know where she is." he said as he started walking.

 

"Perfect way of finding her. I bet she hyad it put in without her knowing?" ALICE asked. Tracking chips to her were very primitive.

 

Haido nodded. "She would run away from time to time or get lost. So her parents decided to put it in her." He said as he walked. "She should be somewhere in the city."

 

ALICE nodded. "Alice ran around alot in the gardens. She went missing for a week but came back, claming to be having tea with a Mad Hatter and March Hare, following a white rabbit and meeting the Queen of Hearts."

 

"Maybe she was dreaming." Haido said as they walked closer to where He was picking up Mio on his tracker. "She should be around here somewhere..."

Mio was tied up to a chair in one of the Hi-tech, yet abandoned buildings. She just had woke up from her unconsious state and was still out of it. Some robots had knocked her out and taken her somewhere, before she even knew they were there. A few robots stood around, some of them looked like battle robots.

 

ALICE stopped walking. She blinked, wondering why she had stopped. "Haido.... I think you should get outta here..."

 

"What for?" Haido asked stopping. He knew Mio was somewhere in the area, and wasn't planning on leaving yet.
