Days at Destiny

Riku stops drying and hands the towel to Umi as they walk toward Cid's. "Thanks, Umi. We appreciate the towels." He then glances back at Kairi. "What candy did Sora want us to pick up for him? M & M's?"

 

OOC- Apology accepted, now if only Mish would accept mine...........

Umi shook the package. "What's in here anyway?" He swings his towel over his back. "M&Ms, though Skittles are good too. Some gummi bears sound good right about now." His stomach grumbles like rubber rubbing against a table.

 

"Sora, I didn't know you were here. So, um what you doing anyway?" asked yuffie
staring at sora with a "huh"face at him.
yuffie decided to take a walk around the island, and check on sora later in case he wasn't as busy.

 

A sigh emitted from the boy's mouth, happy that summer had come. "Finally.." he murmured before pulling out a cowboy hat for amusement, then walked over to an apple blossom tree. He set his backpack agenst it and plopped down on the floor, resting his back agenst the tree trunk. He stretched, giving a large yawn, crisscrossing his legs. Stretching his arms out, he moved the cowboy hat over his eyes as if he was about to go to sleep.

(( Past tense enough? If not I can try to fix it when I have another time in school. Rping in school is the only 'fun' we get. ._o ))

 

(OOC: Demyxu, that was marvelous. Keep it up, and your gonna become another one of my fave people to rp with XD @Princess, try to breathe more life into your character. While that "technically" counts as three sentences, I'm going to start saying that "character said" Is not a sentence starting now. If you have that as your third sentence again, tis a point.)
"That was it!" Kairi said, smiling at Riku. "Sora asked me to get him M&M's. I'm glad you remembered, I was kind of thinking he had said skittles for some reason. Sora would have killed me if I hadn't got him the right kind." She chuckled at the thought. "After we hit Cid's, we're stopping by some random candy store. And the good thing about having two boys with me," Kairi said, leaning on Umi and Riku, "is that they get to be gentlemen and carry everything!" She smiled as she spoke.

 

Umi grunts and makes a face. "Why do we have to carry everything?!" He sighs deeply. "Kairi, you could use some muscle now and then." Umi sees Cid's shop. "Oh, here we are."

 

"Well Umi, why do I need to get muscles when I have you guys? Seems like more than enough to me." Kairi chuckled, and walked into Cid's store. "Cid, we need lots of good food." Kairi said chuckling. "We're having a luau out at the island, and we want to have a doozy."

 

Umi plavces the package on Cid's counter. "Kairi, we're not always gonna be where you are. You need to be able to fend for himself." He takes out some munny. "Hmm, I'll have some gummi bears and Skittles." He recieves the candy and looks at the fish. "Geez, all of this stuff looks good."

 

"Don't forget lots of wasabi, Cid. I can never get enough of the stuff." Riku leans against the counter as Cid retrieves the food. "I'm just hoping the weather stays nice all day. Last thing we need is a rainout on a good party," he mentions to Umi and Kairi.

OOC: ive never had wasabi but i think Riku can stomach it. :D

"Gah, you better be putting that stuff on just yours Riku." Kairi said, squinting her eyes. "To much for my stomach." Cid put up a bag of the fish that they had selected. "Here you go Cid." Kairi said, digging out the money. "Oh, and can you give me a bag of M&M's too? Sora would kill me if I forgot them." Kairi handed the money to cid, then looked at the bag. Then she looked at Riku. Then back at the bag. "Um..."

 

Riku raises his eyebrow. "Yeah...I get it..." He turns around and picks up the bag. "There anything else, your highness, before we leave?" Riku chuckles as he teases Kairi.

 

"While your at it," Kairi said in a pompous voice, "you can carry me back as well." Kairi leapt onto Riku's back. "Forward ho!" Kairi said giggling madly.

 

Umi s******s and then laughs out loud. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!! That's rich!!!" He takes some of Riku's bags. "I'll help, you have enough weight to carry." The group finishes taking all the bags and leaves shop.

 

Riku laughs. "I think you should be carrying me around, Kairi. I saved your neck today, remember?" Riku keeps walking along despite his complaining. Sora would kill me if he knew what me and Kairi are doing. "Just don't get comfortable. I'm not gonna try to row the boat with you still on my back."

OOC: first off, breath.... so far Kairi, Riku, and Umi are still on the mainland getting stuff. Sora's with you on the island and you guys are suppose to be making a bonfire. hope that helps.

"Well, then I should enjoy it while I can." Kairi said giggling and grabbing tight around Riku's chest. "Come on, mush!" She said giggling some more. "Oh, and Umi," Kairi slaps him. "That's for implying I'm fat."

 

Umi ducks and avoids Kairi's hand. "I wasn't implying anything!" He gets hit the second time. "Ok, I didn't deserve that one." They go back to the docks.

 

OOC: sweet! i broke a rule and twi didnt say anything! youre slipping! :D

"Alright, end of the line, your highniness." Riku sets Kairi down. He gets in the boat. "Want me to put those bags in the boat, Umi?" Then he looks over at Kairi. "You're not going swimming again are you, Kairi?"

 

Kairi blushes and sticks her tongue out at Riku. "You big jerk, wasn't like I meant to do that. And you were probably hoping you had to give me CPR." Kairi said, still red, but laughing. "Let's just get back to the island, I sure hope Sora and Ashley have that fire going..."
(OOC: Well Rena, no I didn't catch it, but you and Rufus gots kind of invincibility. You two are my vices, so if I'm not on, either of you two are aloud to yell at people and keep the rules in line. So...dun do it again!...but I can't ban you DX)
