Umi grits his teeth. "Grrrrrr, I'll get you one day........." He runs over to Sora. "Are you alright?" Umi glares at Riku. That jerk better apologise soon.............

I hate being short and weak... Shaking his head Sora bluntly says "I'm fine... " and went to get out of the water to dry, "If i get sick I'm blaming you. Riku.." he said while looked at his clothes dripping wet.

 

Umi helps Sora up and hands Sora the wooden sword. "Keep it, I have my hands full." He sets Sora down against the giant tree. "I'll go get some herbs." Umi rumages in the bushes.

 

Riku smiles at the sight of a wet Sora. No matter what, he's still my friend. "Sora, you're just upset that I'm stronger than you." He stretches out on the sand to dry his own pants off. "Actually, come to think of it, I bet Kairi could even take you," he says with a chuckle, looking over at Kairi.

 

Ashley listened very carefully to their conversation. He sighed at their foolishness, even at age eighteen. He wrapped his arm around a large tree to sapport him.

 

Umi glares at Riku. "What's that? Come over here and say it again." He gives Sora some leaves. "Here, eat it to get the taste of sea-water out." Umi approaches Riku. "Leave him alone. On the inside, Sora's stronger than you'll ever be."

 

"Thanks Umi." Sora went and sat next to Riku, So he thinks even Kairi can beat me... and sighs, "If Kairi can beat me it's probably cuz I let her" he said.

 

"I'd be mad at you if you let me win." Kairi said, throwing a bit of sand at Sora. "Hey Umi, come sit down and relax. Riku was just messing around. He's sorry, right Riku?" Kairi said, batting her eyes at Riku in a playful manner.

 

Sora laughs "I'm just kidding Kairi. Like there even be a reason for us to get in a fight in the first place." he said smiling.

 

Umi sighs and sumbits. "Alright, you win." He sits down with everyone else. "So, what're we doing now?"

 

"Relax!" Kairi said, laying back in the sand and stretching out. "God, I just missed laying out here and looking at the sky..." Kairi said as she stared up into the blue. "I can't believe we're all gonna have to leave soon..." Kairi said quieter, biting her lower lip.

 

"Yea that's too bad..." Sora said as he looked at the current going back and forth. It's so peaceful here... everytime I visit

 

"You know you don't have to leave." Ashley said, finally coming out. "There is plenty of stuff here. This is the last summer of your childhood... so live like a child."

 

"I meant when this summer was over." Kairi said, not realizing who had spoken. Realizing it wasn't Riku or Sora, she got up quickly to find Ashley. "You follow us here, stalker?" Kairi said smiling.

 

"Ya know, yeah, let's have fun this summer." Umi got up. "After this summer, promise we'll all meet here again, at this island." He sticks out his hand. "Friends forever?"

 

"Yeah friends forever!" Sora said smiling sticking his hand out too. "Right guys?" He said as he waited for an answer.

 

"Of course!" Kairi said, placing her hand in as well. She smiled at all the members gathered around, waiting for the rest of them.

 

Ashley looked away sadly and sighed. "Well... I'm geuss I'm going now...." He said quietly and turned around.

 

"Ashley, get back over here. New friends are still friends. Put your hand in here." Kairi said smiling.

 

He looked over his shoulder and sighed while rolling his eyes. "Okay." Ashley ran up to them and put his hand in.
