"So much for our history. It seems that your girlfriend and her pet are taking over our lives."

 

"I guess we'll have to do something about that." Koza said as he lit a torch. "At least me and you have sense enough to enter a dark passage with a light."

 

"Well if I am your sister we should be first. This is in effect our house. Say about cheek. I'm not fond of cats at the best of times."

 

"Onee-chan isn't his girlfriend," Neka said, taking out two ring from her kimono. "And I'm not her pet."

 

"That's how it appears and so that's how I will describe it."

 

"I want to keep the promise I made, to kill whoever took Onee-chan and help you find out about your past."

 

"I think Koza should go first. This is his home and he should make the discoveries."

 

"It's our house, sis. Still I should go first as I have the light."

 

"I never lived here and it was never my home, so it's yours brother. I will follow you though as I trust you."

 

Neka put the rings back in her kimono. "I want to help you, even I want to help Onee-chan but she's healing right now."

 

Koza walked down the passage with the others following him. They eventually entered a large chamber with two sconces in it. Koza kit the sconces which revealed two swords hanging on the wall with a small charm that looked like the end of a key sitting between them.

"I never knew that these were down here."

Koza looked at the swords. One had a jet black blade, the other sword had an ivory white blade.

 

"You can come, just don't barge in before Koza, it's disrespectful."

 

"Wait a minute. That other sword.... Its color is the same as Onee-chan's kimono and the wing on her back. What does it mean?" Neka looked at Koza.

 

"Well they are obviously family heirlooms of some sort. What do you know about them Koza?"

 

"This is the first time I've ever seen these. I remember father talking about them though. I think he called the one Murasame and the other Masamune."

 

"I doubt Onee-chan could wield one of them," Neka took the rings out of her kimono again.

 

"What is so special about them? I assume that they are fighting swords. Perhaps they were left for us as they are family swords." She glared at Neka. "What about the charm? It looks like a key of some sort."

 

"If I remember right, Murasame has a demon inside it and while it's near masamune, the demon sleeps. I think the charm is the Coro that the Hogyoku were looking for."

 

"I think I understand. We wield the swords to protect the charm. That is why they are all together. Who gets which sword though?"

 

"I assume that the black one is Murasame so I'll weild it. That leaves Masamune for you, Maiko."
