Koza drove the horses on. After about a couple of hours, they reached the city.

 

"Isn't this dangerous for you? I mean you are still being hunted, and us with you now. The city seems a dangerous place to be."

 

"The news about our group hasn't hit the public yet, I'm sure. Until then, we'll be safe."

 

Neka walked along the horse in her cat form, Kyo was sleeping with Yuki on his back. She turned into a human, picked Kyo up. "I'm taking Onee-chan to the doctor." She walked to the doctor.

 

"Shall we travel on. I need answers as to why my life has gone to hell all of a sudden."

 

"Sure." He mushed the horses on and stopped the cart in front of a dilapidated house.

"Here it is. This house has seen better days."

 

Neka left Kyo at the doctor and went to find Koza. "Hey..... This place used to your house......"

 

"It's a ruin. You risked our lives for this? I feel more depressed than ever."

 

"It's not that bad. Besides, we're not going to be here long."

 

Neka looked around, "It's alright, Koza." She ran inside.

 

"I can't wait..." Maiko replied with a deadpan voice. She was losing faith and interest.

 

Koza hopped off the cart and walked inside. The interior was more intact and there was little sign of dust and cobwebs.

"Strange....someone else has been here. But why?"

 

"It's as if someone is caring for the house. Are you sure that it is empty? I hope we aren't invading someone else's privacy."

 

"They must have known about what happened to you," Neka said, looking around.

 

"It was empty the last time I was here." He said as he walked further into the main chamber. The floorboards broke out from under him and he caught himself before he fell.

 

"Looks to be careful," Neka said.

 

"Well it seems that no one lives here. They couldn't with the floor that unstable." Maiko helped Koza up. "Maybe they were looking for something."

 

"I don't know, but I think I may have found something. There's a ladder leading down."

 

"Let's see what is down there then. It has to be more interesting than what's up here."

 

"Lets find out where its goes," Neka said, she started down the ladder.
