"Beats me. Just follow the trail and you;ll find out."

 

"Well the best thing we can do is follow the trail and find out. Who's coming?"

"You are right as usual my brother."

 

"I can't. If I don't give my wounds time to heal, they'll re-open, which may prove fatal."

 

"I need to stay behind to look after you, my brother. I have just discovered you and you aren't leaving me now." Maiko smiled at him. "Besides, you need a servant at the moment."

 

"In my condition, there's not much else I can do at the moment, and I definately don't want to stress you out sis. I'd never hear the end of it."

 

"Then I really must be like you. I'll make sure that you are comfortable and looked after. We are better off with you healed."

 

Yuki just threw the feather to the ground. "I give up!" He fell to his knees and held Kyo's sword close.

Neka sighed. "I've felt a strong demonic aura at the trail. I'm coming back to see if what I guess is right. Koza, you care about Onee-chan, right? Then, think of a plan to save her with your sister from a demon bounty hunter." She turned to a cat and ran off.

 

"You are just giving up on your sister? I won't! Just stand there and sulk or come with me."
Takahiro walked to the place where the feathers were and began studying the scene.

 

Neka looked around, she saw Takashiro walk up. She sniffed the air, she turned to a human.

Yuki followed Takashiro, still holding Kyo's sword.

 

"Nice trick. I hope to help you find Kyo if you will let me. It seems I have to make up for my past sins."

 

"Thanks. We'll need help to find Onee-chan." Neka continued to look around.

 

"Well I'm not a good tracker but there are signs of a track going further into the woods and it looks like one of the two people was struggling to get away. What happened here?"

 

Neka looked around, sniffing. "Hard to say. The looks of it say some sort of fight went out while the people fought over Onee-chan."

 

"I suggest that we move on as we are wasting time. Lets follow the trail to where they are."

 

Neka nodded, turning into a cat. She ran off, following the trail.

 

Takahiro followed Neka, drawing his sword and preparing for battle. There was a real feeling of tension and the area was silent. No birds sang and the animals had all fled. "Something isn't quite right."

 

Neka nodded, turning to a human. "Yeah." She took out her bow and arrows.

 

"Then I suggest we proceed with caution as we don't want to scare them into doing something that might hurt Kyo. Stealth is the best option. I suggest we approach by slightly different routes."

 

"How long have they been gone sis? For some strange reason, I feel something bad is going to happen...."

 

"Yuki..... Give me Onee-chan's sword." Neka gently took Kyo's sword, and placed it in her belt.
