"There's the plantation. It'l feel good to sit down."

 

"We can join the others and you will be safe." Maiko smiled. "I'm sorry I've caused you so much trouble."

 

"Don't be. It's my fault this happened anyway. If the others ask, just tell them that I got attacked. There's no problem with having a few secrets between brother and sister, is there?"

 

"Thank you Koza, my brother. That sounds wonderful. I have family at last." Maiko kissed his cheek. "I have years of annoying my brother to catch up with."

 

"That you do. Just go easy on me for now."

 

"For now I'll be a good sister. I want you to recover and marry a nice girl and give me nieces and nephews! You will enjoy that I'm sure."

 

Koza chuckled.

"Alright, I'll see what I can do."

 

"Well I'm relying on you as no one else can do it. I will be the dotty aunt who spoils them."

 

"Then I'll have to spoil your children as well."

 

Maiko pointed to the barn. "We are almost there and you can rest then. I will stay with you and protect you. I wonder who else is in there?"

 

"I don't know. Takahiro should still be in there if he really loves you."

 

Maiko helped Koza to the door. "He is. You know what that means!" She began to grin. Takahiro rushed over to help Koza to a pile of straw over which he had thrown his cloak.

"Please let me help you. I would like to be of service."

 

'Sure, just be careful. I'm still a little sore."

 

"You were attacked then? I will stand guard and protect both you and your sister. I could do nothing less."

 

"Yes, I got attacked. Maiko patched me up."

 

"Kyo wouldn't left without her sword. Someone probably took her, leaving her sword. Koza, who would you think took Kyo?" Yuki picked Kyo's sword and began to cry.

 

"Stop crying! Tears don't solve anything!" Koza yelled. He winced in pain.

 

Yuki wiped his tears, and held out Kyo's sword. "Sorry. But I keep thinking something might happen to her. Don't you love her, Koza?!"

Neka turned into a human, and said, "Koza, do you think the person who attacked you is the same one who took Onee-chan?"

 

"No. I killed the one that attacked me, so it has to be someone different. They probably left a trail to follow, so go back to where you found the sword and look for something out of the ordinary. I'd go with you, but if I try to move anymore than I already have, then I'll end up re-opening my wounds."

 

"I'll stay with my brother to protect him. Takahiro can go with you. He is a good fighter."

"I will be there for you all."
