"Lets go!" Neka ran to the forest, her bow and arrows out.

Kyo just smiled and sighed. "She's a quiet handful....."

 

"I'm sure that Maiko didn't leave the city, so you'd better go get Neka. I'll meet up with you in the square."

 

Kyo ran to the forest and found Neka. She brought her back to the capital to Akira. "So, where do you think she went?"

 

"I don't know....We can rule out the Red Light District, since she's not that kind of girl, or at least I hope not. Let's split up and look around."

 

"Alright." Kyo let go of Neka and walked one direction.

Neka quickly ran to one distract, looking around.

 

Akira wandered around aimlessly as he searched for Maiko.

ooc: Got to go early. See ya.

 

Kyo looked around the place she was in. "Hey, Maiko!"

OCC: Okay. See ya later.

 

Maiko was enjoying herself in the colourful markets and totally forgot about the time and the others. She walked from place to place, studying the goods and chasing of the various hawkers. She had been swallowed up into the crowd to become yet another faceless body among many.

 

Akira continued to search, but had no luck. He sat in the town square with a depressed look on his face.

I guess not even my sister wants to be near me.....

An angry guard walked up to Akira and lifted him up by the collar.

"There's been rumors going 'round that Koza the Blood demon is in town. You seen or heard anything, pesant?"

"Why, no sir. I haven't."

The guard struck Akira with his fist.

"Don't play dumb with me, you urchin!"

 

"Oh there you are. Thank you sir for finding my lazy useless brother. Can I help you officer? I will take him away somewhere safe and make sure that he isn't in the way." Maiko smiled at the guard sweetly and worked her way around so that she was next to Akira. "Sorry sir, but my brother is a little slow thinking sometimes."

 

"See that you keep him out of trouble." He guard said as he let Akira go and walked off.

"That damn jerk." Akira said as he rubbed his jaw.

 

"Cool it Akira and act dumb for a while to give credibility to your cover. I never thought I'd have to rescue you, I'd always imagined you'd be rescuing me. I guess you do need me then."

 

"I don't knw what that guard's problem was. I was looking for you and sat down to rest, and the next thing I know, he grabs me and starts interrogating me."

 

"About what? Loitering with intent to look untidy? I guess you are just the type that trouble finds."

 

"No, he said that there were rumors that Koza was in town. Naturally, I played dumb as I'm not about to give myself away so easily."

 

"So I backed your story up? Great, I'm the dumb straight man in this comedy. I think I need to go back where I had at least a shred of respect."

 

"Some comedy. The last time I checked, people only died in tragedies."

 

"I'm sorry, but I get the feeling I am of no use here. I was better off working on the farm. What do you think?"

 

"I think you're wrong. You've been a big help."

 

"Well at least we know that you are not safe here. I assume that you will need a cover story while we are here. Shall we stick to the one we started my brother?"
