"You better catch me first then." Ixion replied, sneaking the shamshir in his vest. He moved out of the way just in time before he got hit. Though no light was emitted, he dashed all over the place at the speed of light. The crackle of electricity could be heard everywhere. Shadowstepping, eh? Then this is gonna be a pain in the a**... he thought.

 

The drow, in no mood for games, doubled his shadowstepping distance. He was practically dancing about the area, dodging every obstacle with perfect grace. He threw the dirk from a distance, still catching up to the quick human. Human enchanting was never as superb as the drow.

"What are you so happy about," Nox asked.

 

"Well, I got to meet a new friend, a dark creatture... And if you be positive, good things happen to you." Eden smiled. "Good things come to people who wait."

 

"I've been waiting for years nothing good will ever happen," Nox said sadly.

 

"Well, then something great might be coming your way, and you just don't know it." Eden smiled.

 

"it won't happen I'll never leave this place," Nox said.

 

Eden got a bit angry at Nox. "Stop doubting yourself! Sure, there may be not much good now, but you can change it! Think positive about yourself! There may be people out there that want you to be free! And I'm pretty sure they want you to take place of your father!"

 

"No one cares about me. And no one knowns I'm down here they think I'm a spoiled son," Nox said.

 

"I think someone wants you to be king. I mean, your perfect for it! You'll be the best! We just have to work on getting free!" Eden said somewha happily.

 

"Who would want me as a king," Nox said.

 

"thats not very nice," the Dark Lord said.

 

"I want you as king... And someone else out there might want to be king as well... These Dark Lands would be much better if you were King here." Eden smiled. "Besides, your heir to the throne."

 

"You don't even know me. how do you know I'd be a good king," Nox said.

 

"Your eyes... I've learned how to tell if someone is good or not by looking at their face." Eden explained. "And you're a good person. I'e been talking to you... And I know that you'll be a good king someday."

 

"I'll never leave this place," Nox said.

 

"Don't doubt yourself... If you do, then you'll never get out! Look towards the bright side and think 'I'm going to get out one day'..." Eden said.
