Dark Descent: Project G

~Ammitai~​

After the Erian soldiers destroyed the disguised Kallahian troops, Laetitia sheathed her sword and turned to help the King. She was confused, Erio was the enemy, weren't they? But they had come to Ammitai's aid... Oh well, she hadn't been able to get much news in her small village, so she wasn't entirely sure which country they were at war with. "Your Majesty, are you alright?" She asked.

~Erio~​

Perpetua and Theodora snuck out of the transport after it had been emptied. "Oh great, the fighting's over," Theodora said, pouting. Perpetua ignored her, focused on one thing. "Follow me," she said. The two of them ran quickly through the crowd of Erian victors, disguised Kallahian dead, and a group of Ammitain knights, some dead, some alive. They got to one knight that appeared dead at first glance, a little ways out of the main field of battle. "Ah, here he is," she said quietly. Finding the wound on his stomach, she placed her small hand on it and closed her eyes, muttering under her breath. Slowly, the wound began to heal, until it was as good as new and there was a clean bullet in Perpetua's hand. "I healed the wound, but he lost a lot of blood." She said to Theodora, who took the bullet and began examining it. "He'll still be weak for awhile, but he's out of Death's reach." She looked down at the man, and smiled, ready for when he awoke.

 

When the fighting as over, Verdelet dispersed the flames and the shadowy blade on the end of his staff. "About time the Calvary showed up.." He whispered under his breath before walking over to Ciel. "Ciel Phantomhive..Its a pleasure." He said, extending his hand.

 

James placed his daggers into his pouch again, and picked up his bow. He walked around the battlefield, taking the arrows and placing them back in his quiver. He walked back over to the king and breathed a sigh of relief. "Glad its finally over" he said.

 

OOC: I think this thread has been forgotten. Anybody want to post?

 

Back in Erios, Fiona went about her daily business, buying groceries and whatnot. "I really hope he's ok..and master Ciel too..but i'm sure with the both of them i have nothing to worry about." She said to herself and continued shopping.

 

Amittai​

Elstelz patted Laetitia's head and smiled, "We're alright now. Oh...were is Lief?
" He ignored the Erian soldiers for a moment until a family ran, sobbing, to their fallen father. Elstelz's expression turned grim as he walked over to Ciel, "Ciel Phantomhive....I'm quite thankful you came to aid us in our time of need. Our army...is small and it appears Kallahi has some grudge against us. Tell me, my friend, are they truely that angry that I refused to help them?"

Ciel cast a hateful glare at Verdelet and shoved past him to greet the King. "The pleasure is mine, sir. Erios will always aid you...even if we have no leader to order it. General Kakanas lied to us...again. These soldiers are not here to assist you...they're here to take over Amittai. I can convince them to go back but...there's something not right here."

Erios​

Mikatsu followed Fiona around throughout the entire day. Even if the young girl didn't want her company, Mikatsu didn't have anywhere else to go and her familiarity with Ciel made her important. "You shouldn't worry so much. You'll go gray pre-maturely. Ciel will be fine...he is the best of his kind. By the way...who are you?"

 

Fiona turned to the girl following her. "Oh i'm Fiona Ashblood. Its a pleasure to meet you" She said as her expression changed to a smile and she held out her hand to shake hers. "I'm an old student of Ciel's.

Verdelet was slightly puzzled by the hateful glare he had received for a moment but soon returned to his regular emotionless expression. It was clear the part he played in the battle was over, there was no reason to linger. He cast the spell to form his shadow into wings and took off back towards Erios. "That phantomhive guy sure seems full of himself.." He thought.

 

Right before the train doors close, Shane slipped through the door and wacth the other soilders march offf into the city. Now that that's done, now what. With nothing else to do, he made his way into the city.

 

Mikatsu gave her the blankest stare ever and took her hand. "Mikatsu Numara... A student of Ciel's...does that mean you also practice Spirit Magic? I thought...you had to be a descendent of the Eastren Tribe?" Mikatsu reached up and pulled on Fiona's hair. Dragging her slender hand down her face, she lifted Fiona's chin and turned her head to the side. "Are you in a relationship with Ciel?"

 

Fiona looked at the girl inspecting her strangely "Uh...yes i practice spirit magic and no i'm single." She answered. "Are spirit mages that uncommon?" She said in her head.

 

"Oh. Do you love Ciel?" Mikatsu tugged on Fiona's clothes and sniffed her. Her bright red eyes scanned her, "Do you have any of Ciel's clothing? Perhaps a shirt or...jacket?"

 

Fiona was kinda wierded out by mikatsu. N-no it's more of a student teacher relationship. And uh..i have the sash he gave me when i graduated. She said nervously.

 

~Ammitai~​

Laetitia sighed, happy that the fighting was over for now. Maybe this was not the best plan, fighting in the war. Maybe she should travel back to her village, it would be acceptable to serve her King by protecting the villagers, right? Yes, she could go home, and train hard every day, and keep her family safe, and hang her masters sword up... No, in remembering her master, who had gone to serve the king, likely to his death, she made her mind up. She was not going to be content with hiding at home, sitting by while the country went to war. She was going to defend her country, even if that meant she had to kill again. She absent-mindedly listened to the Erian leaders as they talked to the King, now understanding why it was they had aided them even at war. So the soldiers themselves didn't know why they were fighting, it was the fault of a leader. That made sense to her. She glanced sideways at the small family gathered around the shot soldier. She hoped he would make it, but she had no place to pry. So she stood and waited, ready for whatever orders the King had for her.

 

Amittai​

Elstelz shook Ciel's hand and gestured to a soldier to help Lief up. "Laetitia, would you come here for a moment, I have a favor to ask of you. Well, you and James if he wouldn't mind." He smiled and touched Lief's head as a soldier helped him stand before him. "Are you alright Lief? That's good. Now...I want you three, to go with Mr. Phantomhive to the Ilipson Mountains. There you will meet with a few others. I don't know who they are, but I've decided Ciel's idea is a good one. You will go and prove Amittai is not involved in the aid of Kallahi's kidnapping of Erios' High Priest."

Lief panted, his eyes weren't even open, but he listened intently to the King's words. Going...with an Erian? He felt better but it was strange to already be heading out.

Kallahi​

Crimson nodded, "Yeah I'm good. We should stop by the lab before heading out. Dr. Crescent might have something handy. C'mon." He headed to the stairs, taking two at a time as he bounded up to the Lab Floors.

Erios​

Mikatsu opened her mouth to say more when she froze in her steps. An old woman spoke to her daughter rather loudly, "Would you look at that...it's that weird orphan girl. She's pestering another mage again. You'd think she'd get the hint that no one trusts Composite Mages anymore...they're too irrational and wild." Mikatsu's red eyes lowered and blurred with tears. "I'm...I'm terribly sorry Fiona. I don't mean to...I'm... I'm so sorry!" she grabbed her white hair on the sides of her head and cringed inward. A series of cracks burst around her in the ground and a bright green circle formed around her. Citizens ran away from her and screamed, "That girl! She's a Composite Mage! Call General Kakanas! Nullify her magic!"

 

~Ammitai~​

Laetitia nodded. "Yes, Your Majesty," She said. So she was being sent on a mission to prove Ammitai's innocence? That she could handle. She looked at the other two soldiers who would accompany her. So the knight who had been shot was named Lief, and the archer was named James. She was glad to see that Lief was better, but she wasn't sure how. Maybe the Erians had healed him with magic?

~Erio~​

Perpetua and Theodora had walked a little ways away when the small family gathered around Lief, and waited and watched as he was helped to the king. "Well," Perpetua said. "looks like our work here is done." Theodora pocketed the bullet and turned to her sister. "So now we need to get back to Erio," She said quietly. "How are we going to do that?" Perpetua tilted her head and frowned. "I'm not sure," she answered. "A way will open."

 

Fiona wasn't really sure what was happening but she knew it wasn't good. Had she played a part in the girl taking on this change in personality? "No no! It's alright really! I was just kind of confused and not really sure what was going on is all." She said in an attempt to calm her.

 

Erios​

Mikatsu trembled and so did the ground around her, "No, I'm so sorry! Please... AH!" A burst of pure magic energy surged out of her in the form of the Fire Composite spell: All-Flare. Fire licked up around her and at the buildings, shattering windows.

A rather large man ran into the center of the city. He didn't have much hair and wore all white. A large sword hung at his belt. "What is the meaning of this! Huh?! Composite Mage, cease this! Soldiers! Throw your null-bombs." Several Erian soldiers following him chucked gray bombs towards Mikatsu and Fiona. They exploded near them and a fog covered the girls. Mikatsu's magic wavered and faded back into the dormant state. "I'm so...so...sorr-" she dropped to the ground and passed out.

 

Flying overhead, Verdelet arrived just in time to see the two girls be bombarded with null-grenades. Deciding it was worth checking out, he landed. "What's going on here?" He said to the closest soldier.

 

Erios​

The soldier spoke through his helmet, "Stay back, sir. You are not apart of this. The girl on the ground is a Composite Mage. Her magic went out of control and the situation is now under control. Proceed to capture and eradicate the Composite Mage." Several other soldiers wearing gold armor hustled toward the girls, picking up Mikatsu and two others baring Fiona's way if she so chose to prevent them from taking the girl.
