Don't know how to classify Dante. I was thinking about Okami while drawing him, but it turned out to be more of an anti-Ammy. xD; Red markings on his face and stripes on his shoulders are just markings. You drew him almost like you were drawing a human, meaning basic anatomy is very much screwed up. Paws, tail and back legs are the biggest problem, also the wolf has human shoulders...
I like it a lot! The name is really cool, I like the gradient thing you've got going on. Also, it's a huge puppy and it's so adorable.I can't resist those. I like the way the feet look myself...Dunno the character so I have no concept of whether or not its OOC haha. For your first digital coloring it is impressive! I would imagine that stuff is tough and I think you did a very nice job.
