I go and I wake up today, and a horsefly was on my nose. AND IT BIT ME. So the thing is flying around, and I am ticked off, so while it is in the air, and smacked it, but I didn't squash it. But when I smacked it, it hit my window, and then it went splat. I don't get it. Don't you have to actualy press it against somthing to squash it? Only thing I did was wack the dang thing. Someone explain.

This isn't a strange occurence or some shiz. You didn't apply enough pressure the first time. Oh wow.

If you exert a force on an object all that does is change it's direction. If something blocks this direction change (ie window) you get two opposing forces (the window technically pushes back) and the fly squashes. Also, it could have been that the internal pressure of the fly became so great it's skin ripped and it's insides became it's outsides o.0

Cool. I did somthing scientific. Now if only I could understand, lol. Oh well, point is is that I enjoy squashing flies (glares at dark and evil dung eating flies)
