{Cyborg Soldier: 009}

"To hell with the plan!" 004 yelled, and opened fire before anyone could get another word in. Still, she didn't want to kill anyone if she could avoid it, so she shot above the height a grown man would stand at. She stepped forward, trying to find boxes or something useful.

"Wait! Cease fire!"

004 stopped shooting but aimed towards the voice that's spoken up. Who had the balls to challenge her at this point?

"We're just trying to bring these supplies to the town south of here. Who are you? What do you want?"

004 grit her teeth. So they were little footmen just following orders? They really didn't know what was going on? Damn! She lowered her arms. It was a good thing the lights were out because she didn't want to see their faces, and she didn't want them to see hers. "My name is," she paused, about to say her real name. "My name is zero-zero-four. This is zero-zero-seven. We want clothes and food." They needed food didn't they? Now was a good time to add that request.

"Take what you need." The man's voice was shaking now. 004 had gotten him scared. But who wouldn't be scared of a girl that could shoot you with her fingers and gave you a number instead of a name? "The crates with what you need are against the walls."

 

005 had listened carefully to their stories nodding, but was up against the window in a second as she heard the first gunshot, "Gunshots, I hop-" She paused and frowned, she could sense something coming. She instinctivly looked up into the sky, scanning with the full EM spectrum to see through the blizzard. Hoping that it wasn't what she thought it was, "Guys. We have a problem. A really big problem." She said, gradually getting louder as what she could sense started to kick in.

 

005 ran up to 002, battling through the blizzard, she knew this was where she could actually help out. "There!" She shouted pointing to the jets, though she knew he would not be able to see them, "Slightly to your right, coming fast. Here.". She took his arm and physically rotated him to face them, still pointing and shouted "Straight ahead of you". She knew she had to find a way to accuratly tell them what she could see.

 

007 couldn't quite think of anything that she could do when 004 went all trigger-happy with the people inside. Well, of course she didn't, it was only one shot but the situation at the moment made her feel very startled and desperate. She had just begun to try and magnetize anything that could help 004 fend off these humans and find the things they needed when a voice spoke up. She completely froze, luckily 004 had not. 004 handled everything there, and finally, 007 sighed a huge sigh of relief inside of her. "Hide your weaponry, we need lights to get those crates." she whispers to 004. Once sure 004 had, she walked over to the nearest wall, running her hands gently across it until she found either a light switch, possibly an electrical system from the inside, wires or even a socket. She found a light switch, and with a simple touch currents started to flow within the building again. Now they could see everyone, but everyone could also see them. Them in their bright red uniforms but also looking fairly normal other than that.

007 knew not to explain the whole lights show so she took them away from that, "Please do not be alarmed by us. We never meant to harm any of you and hopefully have done nothing of that. We are just in really need for help and we thank you so much for the offer you have given us. U-uhm, really, you guys don't know how much you'll be helping us. Thank you." she says to them, loud and clear. Her voice lost any trace of desperation and edge but was replaced instead with sweetness and concern. She smiled at all the scared faces hoping to reassure them of what she had just shared. There were quite a number of people in the building. Quite a lot.

 

004 went over to the crates, not bothering to talk anymore. She didn't want to get friendly with these people -- she did shoot at them of course. Luckily for her, the crates were precisely labeled with their contents. One long, rectangular, almost coffin-like crate was labeled "produce." Another cube-shaped crate was labeled "clothing." And the last she looked at was labeled "footwear." She stared at the three, thinking of a way to condense them so they'd be easier to carry. She opened the first to see just what "produce" meant; most of the contents were fruit. She opened the "clothing" crate next; there looked to be enough clothes for their group in it. "Hey, 007, help me move some food and shoes into this one."

 

006 quietly moved away from the wall and looked outside the window, seeing nothing but snow. Cursing under her breath, she followed after 002 and 005, moving an arm in front of her as she walked through the snow. "This is ridiculous!" she shouted, looking around as she spotted 002 and 005 not too far away. She growled under her breath as she looked down, pushing snow away from her as she caught up to the other cyborgs, turning towards the direction 005 was pointing. "We need weapons!"

 

007 put the awkwardness aside and followed after 004. 'Just say thanks on the way out. was on her mind. She did not want to be rude, but talking now seemed very odd. She removed the lid labeled footwear and began grabbing the decent and sturdy looking shoes. What was on her mind was things that were going to help them, not make them look cool. Apologies for the others who might be picky were already starting to play in her head. 007 transferred about eight pairs of shoes into the box of clothes. It was good that there was extra. She then helped 004 fill the rest of the crate with food. She wanted to grab a few bites already, but she knew better. "We should hurry back. The others are sure to be looking for us by now."

Getting to her feet again, she returned the lids of the other two boxes and neatly placed them back to their original places. She turned to the humans watching them motionlessly. She clasped her hands, rubbing them together nervously. "Thank you all again, we're very sorry for intruding. Hope you'll all be doing okay with the storm. Thank you. Good bye." she announced before walking back to 004.

 

"Don't shoot next time," was all 004 had to say in means of a good-bye to the people. She hoisted their custom-packed crate onto her back, her arms behind her to support it even though it didn't feel like much weight at all, and headed for the door. "I mean, really, next time, it could be a human who walks through your door." She couldn't help it! The surprised gasps from people and the way the shooter looked at his gun had certainly made her day.
"C'mon, let's go, 007," 004 grinned sarcastically as she turned around and went outside. What greeted her out there put a stop to her snippy attitude. Jets. How the hell were they gonna fight off jets?! "Oh, sh*t... We have to get to the others!

 

Before leaving, she giggled slightly at 004's goodbye and waved at the people before exiting the door. The jets put a stop to 007's whole system. She simply froze in horror for as she watched the jets fly far above them. A gasp escaped her, "That was the weird, distant noise I heard before entering the building!" she yells over the storm. It was something after all, oh, why had she been so stupid? But really, no one should have expected any of this. The others. Oh no. This was not good. Glancing slightly at 004, who seemed like she handled the crates well. "Don't forget the first mission. Clothes and other supplies. Secure that!" she sternly told 004.

Immediately after the last word escaped her lips, she dashed ahead with her speed. The others. Oh no. She really should have sent a warning of some sort. She went as fast as she could, luckily the others went away from the inn already - however out in the open. She broke to a stop, spraying some snow around. She met with 006. "Hey! Where's everyone else?!" were her first words to the other cyborg. They weren't complete and heck she knew - they needed to stick together to survive this. Them being left in the inn by 001 and 003 was bad enough already.

 

006 cursed under her breath when 002 took off. She looked around her and 005, trying to look through all of the snow. "You've got to be kidding me!" she shouted, clenching her hands into fists as she placed a hand on 005's shoulders. "Can you sense anything else? Is there anything on the ground?" Hearing 007, 006 quickly turned around and let out a sigh of relief. "There you are! We were beginning to wonder what happened to you and zero-zero-four." 006 frowned and pointed her thumb up at the sky. "Zero-zero-two went up, and the others are still inside I think."

 

"Damn! A little warning would be nice!" 004 frowned. But she had to admit; this was pretty damn awesome. With this kind of advantage, she could probably take down the jets easily. 002 got a little of her respect back with this. She watched the jets for a moment to make sure she knew their movements, then bent one leg to reveal the hard-hitting cannon that it really was. She lined up her aim with one of the jets and fired. "Take that, you b*stard!" She laughed; her shot had hit the wing of the jet she'd aimed for. It was either luck or she had a targeting system.

"I do-" 005 started to reply to 006 as she was sensing the area around them, when they went supersonic and made the loud pop. Her hands flew to cover her ears, "Ouch. And no, I don't think so. Well at least not close enough that we have to worry right now, though I expect we will soon enough." She looked up into the sky and smiled as she watched the two up there. They weren't quite so helpless after all. "We'd better watch out for crashing jets" She commented, more as a passing thought than a serious worry.

 

"Zero-zero-four's got the goods. We had quite a situation but--- hey! No.! There is no time for this now. I'll tell you later, maybe." 007 told 006. She had to do something, she had to. But what could she do now? Hm. Then, before her thoughts could go any longer, a booming sound interrupted her. What 005 had said only confirmed what it was, they started taking down those jets. Maybe all she could do was stand there and wait - for now at least.

Then it hit her. With her short knowledge about the others, she knew that 002 could not have taken out a jet in mid air like that. Well, he probably could but not like that. It would have sounded different, bigger maybe. It was 004's doing. She knew it. Especially after spending some time with her too. Which only meant one thing, "The crate!" she gasps. Unless it was with her, somehow - which she highly doubted, then it was still somewhere in the snow. Afraid that they wouldn't be able to find the crate filled with supplies after this little battle or even just by the snow raging right now, 007 took off once again. They couldn't be stuck in these uniforms forever, they'd be walking targets with these on.

 

"Yeah, I know!" 004 snapped her leg back into place and bent the other. She raised her knee closer to her chest to get the aim on the next jet just right. As she fired for a second time, she had a brief thought of what the hearing damage from being close to a shot like that would be -- but that didn't matter now. She watched with a grin as her ammo connected with the nose of the jet she'd aimed for and ripped through it. But she realized the mistake she'd made too late: she'd blown up the jet too close to herself and 002. It was a rookie mistake; it wasn't like she'd spent time practicing this kind of stuff. "Dammit!" She cursed, hoping that 002 could keep them in the air.

 

005 heard 007 and start to run off and realising what she was doing, 005 ran after her. "Wait for me! I can help, I can find the crate. Plus not the greatest idea for us to all get seperated in this weather" As she ran she began scanning the area for a crate, using her new found senses, she didn't know exactly what the crate was like but surely it couldn't be too hard to find.

 

006 cursed under breath when 007 and 005 took off. Great. She looked up at the sky and tried seeing if she could see 004 and 002, but she had no luck. "I should follow the other two." She quickly turned towards the direction where she saw the other two cyborgs run off to and headed off, forcing her legs through the snow. "Of all places, we had to get stuck in snow!" She came to a halt and looked around, spotting 005 just a few feet away from her. Heading towards the girl's direction, she heard another fire go off above them, causing her to look up and see where it had direction came from. That was a bright idea. Turning her attention back towards 005, she placed a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Any luck finding it?"
