{Cyborg Soldier: 009}

The two story building came all too soon, and 007 stopped by it's side. Her fingers felt very cold on the stone material the building had. The side she had stopped on had windows, but if one crouched - which she did - no one would spot her. Unless someone were to peek directly out of the window, hence opening it, but with this weather no one would. Ordinary humans just wouldn't survive much. She turned to 004, right by her tail. Before speaking, she gave herself a few moments to think once again. There were lights illuminating the frosted windows which suggested people inside, of course. Possibly stranded by the storm. This was a two story building, which said it held many things. What things is still questionable, but peeking into the windows meant having to wipe off some snow and peeking in. Which is giving away their presence as much as their uniforms were. If the lights inside were off then, they could peek inside or get inside already. The building's electrical system would be outside, protected by metal. It would probably be in one of the sides of the building. Looking at the end of the side they were on now showed the absence of such thing. It was on another side, and if it weren't outside then it would be inside - which would be much trickier to handle. She stopped, and remembered she wasn't alone. She looked at 004, and scooted closer to her. "I can turn off the lights inside if I find the electrical system by one of the sides of the building. But we need to act very fast, what do you think we should do after that happens?

 

005 smiled slightly, she liked how 002 had taken charge, in her opinion they needed it or they'd just get caught up in their fustration and get nothing done. Of course, she expected some of the others would disagree. She considered volunteering but the others beat her to it and they were probably better suited it. She was probably only that good as a look out but not at the actual stealing. So she remained quiet, she just hoped they'd be okay. She gazed out of the window, curious if with her new heightened senses maybe she could keep an eye on them and make sure they were okay from there. Although she turned her attention to 002 as she heard him rustling through paper once they'd gone, curious like to what he was looking for and quite happy that 006 had asked the question first.

 

005 tilted her head slightly as he mentioned a map, "I might be able to help on the map front, can sense the area around us so might be able to lead us in the general direction once this blizzard clears, though a map would still be good." She paused thoughtfully, "And my life before this? Not that much to tell, I grew up in England and I never really fit in there. I was always alone and stuff. Hmm, wonder if anyone missed me, I wonder if they even noticed I was missing, wouldn't suprise me if they didn't. I got good grades, not that it matters now. But yeah that about sums up my boring life, well boring past. Oh, I did spend a lot of time on computer stuff, making sense of nonsense, yeah, I had waay too much time on my hands."

 

006 shifted in her seat as she watched 002 throw the newspapers. She cocked her head and grabbed one of them, looking through quickly before tossing it to the side. She grabbed another and looked at the front page, perking an eyebrow. This stuff seems strangely old. She tossed that one off to the side. Hearing 002's question, 006 lowered her gaze and glared down at the ground. "Sounds like you pretty much had a basic lifestyle, 005." she quietly said, keeping her eyes low.

 

005 nodded, "Yeah unfortunatly, so what about you two? What was your lives like before this happened?" She asked now curious. She noticed 006 had gone oddly quiet after the question had been asked, perhaps there was something in her past she didn't want to talk about. She didn't say anything and wasn't going to force her to talk if she didn't want to, instead she directed her attention at 002, wondering what his story was.

 

A map would be good for when we finally leave this place. 009 thought as 004 and 007 left to get clothes. He would've volunteered to go, but if seem that the fewer number of people went, the better. After listening 005's story he decided to see if what the rest their stories was, either way, he would eventually have to give his story.

"Zz..zzzzz.." Haru was laying down inside of one of the rooms with his body spread out on the bed. Inside the head of Haru, he was having many dream sequences which would seem weird and awkward to many others but too Haru these type of dreams would be normal like one minute he would be in a spinning room with motorcycles talking! Or his father just standing there with a clown mask on his face. Eventually, Haru eyes would fly open but lower only a little as he stares up at the ceiling with a expression of wonder. He raises his body off of the bed, looking down at his hand while saying," Another day...finally escaped from that dreadful place...making me feel like I don't got a god damn name...just zero zero eight huh?.." He sighs loudly as he got off of the bed and walked out the room, walking out towards the others. He looks out towards the other cyborgs with a slight smile then he screams out, " "Hey!"

 

"Well, being that I lived in Tokyo, Japan before all this happened, I pretty much found myself becoming alot more interested in electronics than I used to. It always seemed like just about every month something new was out. Most of the people I hung out with liked the same thing I did. Guess you could call a electronics geek." 009 said chuckling at his last remark. Hearing something call out to them, he looked up to see 008. "Took you long enough."

 

I think each of us had our own hopes and dreams before Black Ghost took all of that away. 006 sat up straight and scratched her chin, wondering what exactly she had in mind before being kidnapped. I don't think I really had anything. I was too worried about my family. Hearing everyone else talk about their past, 006 leaned back against the couch, crossing her arms around her chest once more. "I lived in Italy. There's not much to really say about myself except that I was a college student. I didn't really speak much Italian, but I was somehow able to speak well enough with my grandfather." Turning her head, she heard 008 greet the her and the others. She raised her hand and waved before lowering it back down on her lap.

 

008 stood by the stairs with a smile as he looked at the other cyborgs greet him. He licked his lips a bit as he stepped off of the steps and walked off towards a sofa that would be near the other cyborgs. He plopped himself down onto the couch with a sigh escaping from his mouth as he stroked his hand through his hair with comfort then he looked around to the others while saying, "So..I couldn't help to over hear you guys talking about your life stories..sounds interesting I hope I'm not too late to join!" A large smile went across 008's face.

 

"Lets see." 009 said trying to remember what Japan was like. "Well I don't what all of Japan was like except for a few places but Tokyo was almost like any other big city, just with more light at night. There's also old temples and mountains you can see like Mt. Fuji." Once he had finish he turned to 008 "So what was your life like before all this?"

 

"You do your light thing," 004 agreed with that idea. But she had her own plan if she encountered anyone. "My bet is that anyone in there is probably innocent of whatever happened to us; so I'm not firing my weapons at them. I'll only knock 'em out." She cracked her knuckles. Part of her hoped no one was in there, but the other part of her knew that wasn't the case. They were going to encounter people and it was most likely that they'd have to fight them off in some way or another. "We need to do this quickly; can't be picky with whatever clothes we find. But, since what we're all wearing now is practically screaming 'shoot me,' we need to find clothes for everyone."

 

It wasn't as planned as she had wanted it to be, but really, could anyone plan something like this? Nope. This was as good-- no, great as it was going to get. 007 gave 004 a nod, and it was time to put the plan into action! 007 turned around with her heel. Still crouched, she quickly made her way towards the end of the building. Before she turned the corner, she poked her head to see what was on this side. Yes! There it was! The metal rectangle that covered the electrical system from the outside. This was a lot better than she hoped for. Looking up, she checked if the windows were to be lower in the back side of the building. Luckily, they weren't. They were actually much higher, probably carrying out to the second floor. She turned the corner and got to her feet, but stayed very close to the wall just in case someone did spot her from above. 007 dashed to that metal box... with a lock guarding it. Trying to magnetize the key was going to be way too risky, also, the key wouldn't be able to pass through the wall or window. Not at all. Aside that, the key might be too far for the magnetic field she could make. The only option was breaking it. Hoping to not loose any more time, she grabbed the lock. It was thick and golden and thick. Emphasize on thick. Thinking fast, 007 put both hands on the lock and began to pull on it hard. If you can't break the lock, just break the do--CRACK!

007 landed into the snow, her right hand still grasped the lock. It worked! Haha! It totally worked! A pang of fear stuck her when she realized where she had fallen. Not unrealistically far, but possibly far enough to be spotted. Discarding the lock, she scampered towards the metal box, it's lid now flying open. She placed a hand over the controls and let electricity ride from her system to the building's. No later, the building exhibited no light through its frosted windows.

004 frowned at the volume of 007 little stunt, but there was no time for smart remarks or arguing. She stood up, went to the door and kicked it in, pleased with the ease of the action. She entered the darkness and immediately heard a gunshot felt something hit her shoulder. The bullet fell to the floor and 004 looked towards the shot's origin. "What the f*** kind of a greeting is that?" She could have been an innocent traveler, but her bright red outfit must have given her away. So she was wrong about the people in here being innocent, but that just meant that she had no problem beating the living daylights outta them. She raised both her hands, palms down, fingers spread, and got ready to open fire.

 

006 smiled a bit and rose to her feet, walking over to a window and looking out. "I remember having a relative that always wanted to travel to places. One of them being Japan." I wonder when those two will come back. She ran her fingers through her long red hair before turning her attention towards the rest of the group. So far everyone was from different places, and each of them made 006 interested in each of their pasts. "Italy is actually really...nice. Surprisingly, I loved living there," she quietly said, leaning against the wall as she crossed her arms again. "What are your names?"

 

She began to make her way towards the front of the building, but half way there she already heard the first gun shot. 007 had stopped in her tracks. Gunshots were never good. Oh wait, they were cyborgs - they could survive this, mostly. She was sure 004 hadn't delivered that first shot, but just then she grew worry. 'It's my fault. It's my fault they even got to a defensive mode. Oh man, this is not good. That was such a bad idea, cracking the whole thing open. Gosh. Can I please ju-' suddenly she heard noises coming from very distantly. She didn't know what it was, nor did she care much for that moment. She had to stop worrying and go inside and help 004! They were already so far from the inn they stayed in, now people were fighting back at them and yes, they still had the red uniforms on. There was absolutely no time to waste.

007 dashed into the building, almost knocking into 004 as she entered. However, she stopped before any collision could happen. Not being any good at these kind of situations she practically screamed, "Plan. Quick!"
