"I got this list of hackers from an old contact. These are the ones that the MCP hasn't caught yet. What we do is track them down."

He looked at the list. "Oh bugger. I'm the only name on here."

 

Lync laughed, but stopped when he realized what that meant.

"So, we are the only ones left?" He frowned. "I wonder if there are any other people on the outside world that also recieved a message like I did."

Vahn sighed. "I have no choice. I have to teach you guys how to hack." Then he looked at Lync hurredly. "Wait, what exactly did that SOS say?"

 

Lync thought for a moment, "I don't really know exactly. It was tough to make out because it was fuzzy and some parts were missing. I couldn't find out where it came from, but I knew it came from Cyber World because of what I could make out. Something along the lines of 'Help! MCP....evil...Need you... happening in Cyber World.' Then it cut out abruptly. That was a month ago." He shook his head, "I haven't recieved any more messages."

"Then I can only wonder who sent it. Geez." He put his hands on his head. "I need to go think."

 

Lync looked around. "Well, can your go think somewhere else? This place is getting cramped." He looked over at Caleb. "Maybe while you do that, I can talk with Caleb about what has been happening, if we can trust him that is."

"Alright. I'll be right back." Vahn went into a house that had been vacated.

 

Lync waved, then turned to Caleb, studying him. He is fairly young, I wonder what he is doing here?

Vahn was trying to put two and two together. If there are no hackers, who was that woman, and where did Lync get that message from? The thought baffled him. It's not like the MCP sent it or anything...
Unless he did.

He shook his head. No, that's ridiculous. He wouldn't make problems for himself. Who sent it?

Again he thought of the woman. What did she mean, a gathering of hackers? There are none to speak of. She was probably just saying that to keep me from wandering into that place.

Then he realized something. What if she was working with the MCP himself? It's not impossible, because she could just be trying to keep her own servers safe by preventing me from getting in. But then, why didn't she erase me on the spot?

Because she was too weak.

He looked around. Maybe, but then there's the possibility that she was just misinformed and actually is on our side. Or maybe...

"Maybe the other hackers made it into Outcast server."

This thought was so amazing that he spoke it aloud. "Maybe they made it in, so they dissapeared from Enzo's list. Maybe... this is all a test to see if I can get in."

He looked outside at Lync and Caleb. "I'll let them finish talking before I break the news. We're getting in."

He consulted his Server Status device. Outcast was still closed.

Because it only opens once per group. Dang!

It was all he could do to keep from running out then and there.

BIC: Lync sat in silence for a few moments, collecting his thoughts.

"So, Caleb, why are you in Cyber World?"

OOC: Swordser2, I would be glad to have you join, though I am not in charge so I can't say if you can join or not, but I am sure you can...

Wait a minute, I just realized that I'll be gone for a week. Sorry guys...
