OOC: Sorry, my internet died for unexplained reasons yesterday.

BIC: "Alright. Done with that, now let's go get some munchies!"

 

"I am very hungry. I haven't eaten since this morn- Oh wait, I fell asleep. I don't think I have eaten since yesterday afternoon!" Lync said, realizing how hungry he was.

OOC: Are we the only ones in this rp?

BIC: "Hmm. Here's a granola bar I managed to nick earlier." *Hands Lync a granola bar* "I'll get some more in just a minute."

 

Lync ate the granola bar fast, "Thanks."

 

Vahn chuckled. "Man, you inhaled that thing. I'll get right to work."

 

"Okay," Lync said.

He went back looking around. Nobody looked suspicious, but sometimes you can't tell. He had learned that the hard way on the job.

A few minutes later, Vahn had stolen armfuls of food, all of which he crammed into a backpack which was hewn of a camoflage material. Despite the amount of items its owner placed inside, it was equipped with unlimited storage, and thus would suit all their traveling needs. The other hacked items were in this pack also.

Vahn smiled. I remember putting hours and hours into the creation of this thing. The result is well worth it, and I continue to note that.

"Alright, done! Let's go before we get caught."

 

OOC: Sorry, I went out to dinner with my famile, but I am back!

BIC: Lync stared at the backpack with interest, but then realized they had to go, so he started to walk out of there hiding place and blend in with the other people.

"That is a neat invention you made. You could have a job at were I work," Lync just remembered, "or, that is, if we weren't trapped in Cyber World."

"I prefer to think about it as living in a better dimension. I would be interested in seeing your workplace someday, though. Just to verify how bad it is. By the way, I found you a hat, so no one notices your ears. Probably not important, but there's a chance you'll need it."

 

A hat? For his ea- "Oh yeah, my ears. I would take the hat. Thanks."

Lync walked on for a bit, "What do we do next? I mean, we have supplies, but I don't think we have enough people to take on the MCP. This is a problem since we can't go, Now Hiring! Fight the power! We would be caught in a heartbeat."

 

"You are correct, Lync. We need some connections." He looked around. "Did you ever learn the signifigance of Outcast server?"

 

Lync looked at him. "Tell you the truth, I never thought about Cyber World or anything like that until a month ago."

Vahn smiled. "As I thought. Alright, I'll start from the beginning. When the MCP began his takeover of the system, there was one server that he couldn't get into: the area that had been designated by the Moderators as the place for people to meet when there was trouble. It was the only one with flawless protection, a code that even the MCP coudn't break. When the MCP took over, it registered not as "Trouble," which would open the server, but as a change in administration.It remains closed off because after the takeover was complete, the MCP deleted anything that could become a problem. As it stands, the landscape is battered, weathered, and bruised, and there are only a few Ai's there, all of which have been driven mad by the isolation. That's the meeting place for us rebels."

Vahn grinned even wider. "There's only one way in: to stir up some trouble."

 

Lync thought for a moment. This was more complicated than he thought.

Lync laughed. What was he thinking? Of course it is going to be complicated, what did he expect? Walk in here, beat up the MCP and walk out? Ya right.

"What kind of trouble?"

"Major trouble." He paused. "Or, more specifically, we need to get the MCP to do something that would be considered major trouble. If we ARE the trouble, we can't get into Outcast."

 

Hmm...."You mean like making the MCP mad, so he does something? How would we do that without getting caught? Or is that the whole idea?"

Lync felt pretty dumb. I am sure new at this...I should have took that spying course that was offered to me. Oh well, as long as the job gets done.

"What I mean is, tricking him into doing something that the system would recognize as an attack to it, such as deleting the settings or a large amount of inhabitants at once. The most difficult part of that would be actually finding something important. But it wouldn't actually get deleted, the system would pre-empt and stop that."

OOC: I have to hit the sack now, see you tomorrow.

 

OOC: bye!

BIC: Lync thought for a moment, "What if deleted a monuement that gave people hope, or something like that? Maybe....we could make one, show it off, and get the people rallied up. That would definitely tick him off."

BIC: "Hmm. That's an idea. We'll come up with the actual method over a period of a few days. That's all we really need to worry about for now.

BIC: Lync smiled, "Do you know any good places to stay at, or will we be sleeping on the ground?"
