Cyber World

This place is so...different, and yet, exactly like the real world.

"Where do we start?"

 

Yiazmat

"That place." Vahn indicated a store with such items as ropes and carabiners. "Or, if you're at all skilled with hacking shops, try that one, with all the food. You need munchies, even in here."

 

"I am not too sure on how to hack in this place yet," Lync said, then frowned, "Wow, do I feel useless. I can design and build high tech weapons for the government, and yet I can't even hack in here."

He sighed. This day just keeps getting better and better.

 

Yiazmat

"That's alright. Help me rig up this code here. I'll get all the supplies we need in a matter of time." Vahn thought for a minute. "Actually, a person bending over and conjuring things out of thin air will look pretty suspicious. You can help by covering me."

 

"Um..okay, but shouldn't we go someplace that is not crowded with people? Maybe in an alleyway, beside the shops? I think we would have less of a chance of getting caught." Lync said, aware of people around him.

 

Yiazmat

Vahn eyed his surroundings. "You're right. We should move, in fact. I'm glad I found you. Without that advice, I probably would've been caught."

OOC: I have to go to bed now, I'll see you tomorrow.

 

OOC: bye! I'm going after this post too.

BIC: Lync smiled, glad he could help, "Thanks, I'm glad I met you too, or I would probably still be wondering around in that forest." He laughed.

 

OOC: I have returned.
"I'm glad as well. I need some people to help me resist the MCP. Say, what did you do before this? When you still had a life, I mean."

 

Lync laughed at this, "I've never had a life before this, but if you must know, I worked for the govenment intelligent service, or as some people call it, the govenment's secret service. I made them high tech weapons or gadgets. They trained me in martial arts, for my protection, which I think was a waste of time, until I came here."

He frowned, "You are probably thinking why I am not finishing school right now. This is because I thought my talents were of more use somewhere else, so I quit after Jr. High. Also, because I was sick of kids staring at my ears or whispering about my dad."

Why was he telling Vahn this? It's not like he needed to know..

 

Yiazmat

"I see. I never really had a life. I was such a loser that even my mother wanted me out. ME, her own spawn." He paused. "But I don't let it bother me. The cyber world has much more to offer me."

OOC: ...Aaand, on that note, I have to go again. >.> See you shortly, though.

 

Xet was still walking around aimlessly.
''Where is everybody?''

 

OOC: okay, bye again. :)

BIC: "At least you had a mother. All I ever had was a dad who dosn't even notice I'm alive. I am serious. If I died in my room, he wouldn't notice until the neighbors came on account of the smell," Lync pointed to his ears. "I got these from him. One of his genetics experiments."

Lync looked away, "A new life here, huh? Sounds good to me."

 

Yiazmat

Vahn stared. "Pointed ears? Your dad must really be a spaz."

 

Lync laughed, "Finally, someone agrees with me."

He looked at Vahn and then quickly looked away.

"What about you? What did you do after your mother kicked you out?"

 

Yiazmat

"That, I couldn't tell you. I sort of lost track of myself after that... I designed my program during that time, but it consumed my life for a while. I became physically weak, and all I can really do now is what my program allows me to do." He looked down. "I didn't have a life."

 

Lync didn't know what to do. He had never comforted someone before. He just stood there looking disgruntled.

"Um, maybe we..uh..should get the supplies..." Lync's voice trailed off.

I thought my life was bad..

 

Yiazmat

"I'll get to hacking. My life always improves when I'm working on a server."

 

"Okay, good. Ya. I will...check and see if anybody is watching," Lync walked to the corner and peered around. Nobody was looking back at him. Well, things are going smoothly so far.

"How are you doing, Vahn?"

 

Yiazmat

"Pretty well. I've almost gotten through the firewall. It was their mistake to post the IP address on their wall," he said with a chuckle.

 

"That is lucky for us," Lync said, still watching out for people.
