W00T!!,.......when do we start?

 

I would like to join but....computers hate me and so I don't know what you mean by speacial program.(This is why I don't hack....because I don't know how....)

Vahn drifted slowly through the foreign servers. Boy, there's some crazy crap here, he thought. I've never been to a place with so many security apps.

As he was thinking, he suddenly came across one of those same applications. It demanded a pass, so Vahn caused it to lag while he hacked it and found the kind of data he'd need for the kind of "Pass" that the program was looking for. Quickly he wrote it up, unfroze the enemy system, and presented his new tool. The program let him proceed.

It's been ages since I got trapped in this system. I'm starting to miss the outside world. He shook his head. No, it never did anything for me. I don't miss it that much. I'd just like a little legroom.

 

Xet was in hisroom,finishing his program on his computer.
''Hmm,can't believe I'm doing this.''
He got a message a couple of days ago about what was happening in the inner space.Xet figured that since he knows a couple of things about computers,he might as well do something.
''There,done.''
He decided he would go to inner space the next day.
''I just want to get used to reality a little more before I go.Why am I even thinking of doing this?''
He lied down on his bed and fell asleep.

 

Saibot walked around a room aimlessly.

OOC: I didn't know how to start.

 

OOC: this is the second part of the beginning of my character. Also, how could I describe my character entering the Cyber World?


BIC: Lync woke up. He was lying on a bus bench, which is where he fell asleep. Lync walked home, but when he reached the front of his house, a black car was there. This plain car wouldn't have caught his attention if it was parked somewhere else, but he recognized the logo on the license plate. The symbol was for the higher-ups in the government company he worked at, and it was parked right in front of his house. He groaned. What did they want now? Lync walked through the door and saw one of his co-workers sitting on the couch in the living room.

"Ah, Agent James! What can I do for you?" Lync said with a false smile.

"Where is your dad, giving more people pointed ears?" James asked, avoiding the question. Lync touched his ears. Why did he get a mad genetic scientist for a father?

"No he is at work, of course. I would offer you something to drink, but all we have is spoiled milk," Lync said, waiting to see why his friend is here.

James laughed at this, “No, I’m not thirsty. I was actually sent here to check up on a certain project you have been working on,†Lync’s pale face seemed to go white.

“Don’t know what you’re talking about, James,†Lync replied.

“Do not play games with me. They know you have been working on something, Lync. They sent me here to find out what it was,†James said calmly. “I would not still be here waiting for you if I found it, but apparently I haven’t so now I’m just curious to what you have been up to.â€

Lync thought this through. Should he tell the Agent? No, because they won’t believe me and then not let me out of their sight. Instead, I will tell a small lie, “Just a computer game, is all. I decided to take a break from designing high tech weapons for the government. If that is all, I must be getting back to my work.â€

After James left, Lync went up to his room and locked the door. He sighed and sat down at his desk. I have to go in tonight, or they will find out about what I am doing. Lync checked his watch and it read 6:00pm. He decided he will enter Cyber World in one hour. Just hope I can complete the mission assigned to me.

Vahn came to a sturdy gate. It was incredibly tall, and it had the dimensions of a firewall that would de-rezz anything that got too close. "Hmm. Let's see if I can get in."

Another security program came to him, demanding a pass, but not specifying what kind. He delayed it and looked at it's code. Well well. It doesn't accept ANY pass. It's just programmed to vaporize you when you try to get past it.
He rewrote it's code so that it would accept the pass he already had. Suddenly he heard a woman say, "You don't want to be doing that..."

 

Lync heard the front door slam. What now? It had been half an hour since James had come and Lync was going to into Cyber World in about 30 minutes. He didn't want any more interruptions. He carefully made his way down the stairs. Lync went into the front hallway and saw his dad wearily taking off his coat and hanging it up. What is my dad doing home so early?

“Dad, what are you doing here so early? Usually you get home around 10pm,†Lync asked.

His dad turned and looked at his son. His eyes didn’t seem to focus on Lync, “What? Oh yes, of course. I forgot something at home and needed to come here to get it. I wasn’t expecting you here. Aren’t you supposed to be in school?â€

Lync was extremely annoyed. Of course, his dad just forgot something. What was he expecting? Instead of answering his dad, Lync went back up to his room and slammed the door. I can’t afford anymore interruptions if I want to enter the Cyber World tonight! Lync sat down at his desk and continued his preparations.


OOC: Seriously, how am I to make my character enter Cyber world? Is it from his computer? Does he need to open a special program?

OOC: Naw, all he has to do is log on from his room.

 

Saibot looked around the area he was in, he then walked around the area.

OOC: Just so people know, my character is in the cyber world.

 

Yiazmat

"Who are you?" Vahn said to the woman.
"I'm like you, a renegade who wishes to overthrow the MCP. And I came to warn you of the dangers of what you were about to attempt."
"What could you possibly mean?" Vahn replied.
"That gate." She pointed. "Behind it is the MCP's server. Even though you have a signifigantly well-written timebending program, it'll do you no good. The files in there are protected from lag, and without that advantage, you're pretty vounerable."

Vahn stared at his pale, gangly reflection in the security program's polished exterior. "You're right, dang it. I need some allies if I'm going in there."

The woman turned. "There's a group of rebels gathering in the Outcast server soon. If you wish to loosen the MCP's grip, you must meet with them, do you understand?"
Vahn nodded.

"Good. I must depart now, there are programs after me. Delete that riff-raff," She said, indicating the security bot. Then she was gone.

 

Saibot stoped walking and saw a man in the distance, Saibot then turned on his program and turn invisable.

 

Yiazmat

"Well, I've got nothing better to do," Vahn said to the empty, pixelated air around him. "I'll start making my way toward Outcast server."

OOC: That can be where everybody meets up, eventually.

 

OOC: Okay, oh and my character is pretty much spying on Vahn.

Saibot crossed his arms after hearing the man say something."

OOC: Alright, cool! Vahn has someone watching him.

Vahn scanned the horizon. Suddenly he noticed an odd graphical error about 20 yards in the distance. Odd, he thought, Is there something there?

He sighed and decided to ignore it.

 

Saibot's program stoped working and he was no longer invisible.
