I highly doubt I'll get a nightmare about it. I watched my brother play an M rated game when I was about 5, and I didn't have one nightmare about it. Plus my brother had nightmares about it when he was like 12.

Which is exactly the point I was raising, without the context and the story, it would just be another picture xD the power of suggestion is very powerful :P

After debating for about half an hour whether or not to watch it, I did.

    For about 3 seconds (before the image even came up). xD;

Dude, the picture never changed. I waited and waited but it was the same picture. It didn't go creepy or anything it just kinda sat there looking like a picture. Besides that story is totally bull****.

    Meh, I got nothing.

I'm guessing it's depending on if you believe the back story or not behind it.

My ADD won't let me hold focus on this. I'm going to keep trying to concentrate on this to the best of myy ability, so hopefully I'll see the WHOLE effect without losing concentration.

I'll try turning off the light and maximizing the screen.

EDIT: O_O Holy crap! That was ****ing weird, dude!

I'm getting freaked just reading the comments and I haven't even watched the video yet. I'm still screwed up from the Amityville Horror, which I saw two or three years ago; I don't think I could take this. xD

    The story is absolute bull****.

If you just showed this to an average Joe without telling him the back story he'd probably say, "Hey, neat drawing."

    *shakes head sadly*

Liek, the reason why people's reactions to this ranges from complete O_O to OMFG, this is bs, j00 just wasted <insert amount of time> of my lyfe (Like you ishn't wasting it on here, xDDD, like me), is because of the point of view of a person, and whether or not the person actually watched the whole vid, and seriously tried to "focus". Before I go into all of the weird shlt with the brain, it is easy for people to lie over the internet. Another thing, a back storyhelps loads. The ease of the mind to be tricked is overwhelming. You can honestly believe you don't believe it, and yet still fall for it. What you see can be distorted from the time the light hits your retnas (sp? lawl), until your mind can register what you are seeing. Too much light directed to the eyes without any subtle changes can cause your eyes to try and force you to "look away", for lack of an appropriate word to support my reasoning. Your eyes will begin to moisten, so that your vision blurrs, and what not, causing things to appear to change. After reading the story, you may come to expect those strange things to happen, whether you can register that expectation or not. because of this, you may notice the "strangeness" immediately, even though its still a picture.

Now, since I just typed all of the above shlt, repeating what a few said, and expanding slightly, I'll tell you my story relating to this picture. I've seen the pic before, and i've read the story before. I didn't first see the pic in this video, I saw it on some random sight under the category "Week in Weird", or something like that. BY JUST READING THE STORY, AND LOOKING AT THE PIC (not with the fading, slight movement, constant darkening of the screen the maker of the video added. etc), after about a minute of intense concentration, I swear I saw her face change slowly from that sad expression, to a look of hatred. I didn't even notice the change at first. By the time the right side of her mouth began to curl into what could've become a snarl, did I have to scroll down, hiding the pic. I tried again later a few times, and I had to keep looking away. Never did it look as crazy as it had the first time, I mostly just noticed what looked like her eyes changing, to a more watery look. The dark circles under the eyes, I never saw until I watched this vid. Then again, I watched the vid after reading several comments by youz guyz. T3h mindz of us humanz ish fux'd up.

The story isn't that creepy, but there's something... Intimidating, i guess, about that pic... I can't keep looking at it for more than 10 seconds. it's wierd.

The first time I saw it, I swear I could see the changes within the first two seconds.

EDIT: Actually, now that I look again, I can't really notice any changes. I had the video paused, so I think it may be the video making the changes. If you look closely, her facial expression is sort of like a sneer.(I had it paused at 2:28)

and that, is the power of the mind! it makes you look at things and think there's more in it.

Eventually after staring at her for the past 10 minutes (I know it's double the recommended amount but I'm a badass hardcore like that), she started tap dancing and feeding me babies while a giant panda bear attacked these giant flowers who were speading their pollen to allergic people as animals devoured PETA members.
