Curse of Science

Elizabeth smiled a little at them. "Like I said earlier... I am a veterinarian." She scanned all of them. "All of you look like you need medical care..." She looked at Nick. "And we can probably fix your wings and your eyes..." She smiled warmly.

Zoey gasped. She remembered now. She spilled the beans to the lady when she was out getting food for everyone. "Ooooh... I remember her..."

Abby sighed out in relief. "Thank you..." She looked over to Alexia and kneeled down by her. "How are you doing...?" she asked quietly.

"Follow me..." Elizabeth turned, heading for the stairs.

 

Alexa shook her head, holding her arm close to her body. "I'll live." she murmured. "You look a lot better off then me."

 

Abby helped Alexia up, smiling kindly at her. "I had more experience... plus I was only strangled." She supported her as she followed after Elizabeth.

Zoey smiled big and giggled. "When I went and found that free food. She was there..." She tugged on Nick's arm. "Come on, I'll lead you."

 

Alexa smiled, gasping as her arm twinged. "Its sad when someone can say they are only strangled."

Abby couldn't help but to feel nervous in Elizabeth's place. It smelled exactly like the school. She looked over at Alexia, seeing that her arm was in a splint with an ice pack on it. And Zoey, who had butterfly bandages on her claw mark on her face. Elizabeth was seeing Nick now. She sat on the chair, twiddling her thumbs nervously...

Elizabeth was examining Nick's wings. "You really damaged them... One of them only needs a heat pack to ease the pain. The other..." She sighed out, not looking forward to it at all. She already helped Nick rinsed out his eyes so he could see around.

OOC: I gtg now anyways.....

BIC: Alexa felt better now, her arm only throbbing slightly. Of course, she couldn't wait to get the cast off, and it would be awkward flying, but at least it would heal straight. She closed her eyes, falling asleep.

 

Elizabeth smiled warmly. "Very true... We will have to move your wing back in place before I put the proper splints on. Can you handle a lot of pain? It's going to hurt a lot..."

BIC:

Elizabeth sighed out quietly. "Arlight... here we go..." She put her hands on Nick's wing, feeling where it was broken. "Here's where it's going to to hurt..." She skillfully pushed the wing back into place, taking a bandage and splint. She started wrapping it quickly, wondering how Nick was dealing with this.

 

Elizabeth continued her work, being gently as possible. "You will not be able to move it for a while... I offered to Abby to let you guys stay at my place to recover... She said yes, but we want your opinion on it..." She finished wrapping the splint around his wing and then cut the wrapping, teing it off. It was securely fastened to his wing now.

 

Elizabeth nodded her head. "I have a few other patients to attend to, then I'll have to see about Alexia's arm, and Zoey's stratch on her face... Then we'll head home." She begain collecting the items she used and started putting them away. "Oh yes... I almost forgot..." She walked over to the minature microwave in the room, pulling out the heat pack. She strapped it on Nick's other wing. "There we go, now you can go back to the others if you want."

 

Abby looked up, seeing Nick come out. She saw that his wing was well taken care of already and sighed out quietly in relief.

"Niiiick!" Zoey jumped up, hugging Nick around his waist. Remembering that he was in pain, she pulled away quickly. "Oops! I'm sorry! I forgot...!" She looked up at him with alarm, hoping she didn't hurt him too bad. Her left eye was closed, due to the fact it got scratched.
