Curse of Science

Ray looked up in surprise. He barely dodged half of them he was so caught off guard. He grabbed a piece of pipe from the ground after he fell, hurling it towards Ray like a boomerang at top speed.

Zoey concentrated quickly, stopping the pipe in midair. It was barely an inch from Nick's head. She gasped and held her head. Pain was shooting through it like fireworks. Maybe now isn't the best time to use my powers... she thought.

 

Alexa slowly sat up, rubbing her head. Her arm twinged. "Dammit." she swore softly, seeing the wreckage.

 

Nox layed Kira's body and walked out the door. He pulled out his gun and used it to smash in a window of a car.

 

Alexa looked around. "Abby! Zoe!" She ignored the pain, running over to Zoe. "Are you okay?"

 

Ray stumbled back up, but he suddenly recieved blows from Nick. He cried out, stumbling backwards. Ray fell to the ground, grabbing cement dust. He waited for Nick to get close enough, then flung it towards Nick's eyes.

Zoey lowered her hands from her head slowly. "Yeah... I'm okay." She touched the scratch on her left side of her face. She pulled her hand away, seeing blood on her fingers. She gasped a little.

 

Alexa examined Zoey. "That needs to be taken care of later." She looked. "Nick might need assistance. Where is Abby?"

 

"Never!" Alexa dove at Ray, ignoring her broken arm.

OOC: I need some kind of action or something >>

 

Too late.

Abby came up behind Ray, putting a bar in front of him. She yanked back, making the bar slam against his throat.

Ray gagged from the force of the bar on his throat. He grabbed it with both of his hands, trying to pull it forward. His muscles were bulgding, his mouth still foaming. Sharp fangs jutted out of his mouth, showing the feirceness of his Eraser form.

Abby locked her feet, pulling back harder. Dude he's strong! If she tried to let go, she knew she woul be meeing teeth.

Zoey stood up, seeing that Nick was not walking normal. "Nick!" She started running over to him, dispite the pain she felt all over her body.

 

OOC: Okay...I'll..do....something or other....

BIC: Alexa tripped, and due to Magick's writer's block and unable to create anything, smacked into a wall.

 

OOC: Sorry Magick... T_T

BIC:

Zoey touched Nick's arm. "Nick, are you okay?" She could see the painful expression on his face, and that his eyes are closed. "What's wrong?"

Abby struggled to keep hold of the bar. She felt her arms shaking. Ray was going to be able to turn around any minute. She quietly let go, stepping back and taking a stance.

Ray fumbled forward, but then whirled around. He let out a snarl and then lunged at Abby with claws and teeth, saliva dripping out of his mouth. He snapped his jaw on the bar Abby used to defend herself, making them lock in a stance.

Abby was pressed against the wall, arms shaking as she stuggled to keep Ray off of her. She grunted as more forced make her arms feel like they were going to break. "Zoey! Get Nick and Alexa out of here!"

 

OOC: I'll try again..no worries...

BIC: Alexa sat up, dazed, then jumped at Ray, trying to keep him off Abby.

BIC:

Ray flung his arm behind him, smacking Alexa to the side like she was a fly.

A sudden shot echoed through the apartment, leaving the place in sudden dead silence.

Ray was froze in spot, still bighting on the bar. His knees buckled from under him, falling forward against Abby's body. A small dart was sticking out of Ray.

Abby shoved Ray off her with the help of the bar and looked towards the direction where the shot came from. A shadow was standing there, looking in at them.

A woman, no older then twenty-five, stepped in the room. She looked at the kids in awe.

Abby glared, wondering where the heck this lady came from. "Who the heck are you?!"

The lady raised her hand gently. "Relax... I am not your enemy..." She lowered the sleeping dart gun, dropping it on the floor and raised both of her hands up.

Zoey stuck close to Nick, still touching his arm to let him know that she was still sticking around. She eyed the lady warily. "Somebody's here..." she whispered quietly. "I think she shot Ray with a sleeping dart... Ray's knocked out."

 

Alexa shook her head, trying to clear her vision. That had hurt more then she thought it would. Her arm twinged, reminding her to keep it right handed. Looking up, she saw the woman, but she couldn't stand up, not just yet.

 

Zoey beamed at Nick's comment. She looked back of the lady. "She doesn't seem like the one from the school," she whispered quietly to Nick. "She looks... kind of like a mom." Zoey wrinkled her nose at those words. That was a pretty weird way to word it.

The lady finally spoke. "My name is Elizabeth... I'm the veterinarian around here. And I know you guys are from The School."

Abby's eyes went wide. "How-"

Elizabeth shook her head a little. "I promise... I am not with them anymore... I left them a long time ago..."

 

Alexa could barely hear, but she stood up, leaning against the wall, slightly, her face pale. What did this person want?
