Curse of Science

Nox grabed Kira went she dove for him so that she would fall with him. He fell to the ground with Kira on top of him.

 

Kira sighed, leaning her head on his chest. "God that was close. Can we get out of here?"

 

"Yeah," Nox said recovering from the adrenlin rush.

 

OC: FH and I agreed on a plot twist so I'm gonna kill Kira

BIC: Kira twisted her head around. "Xert...." she started, her eyes wide. "I think...." A roar ripped through the air, and Kira fell backwards.

 

"Kira," Nox shot up and looked at Kira, "whats wrong

 

Kira gasped, trying to sit up. "My..." she gasped for air, feeling a pressure on her lungs. "I think I got shot."

 

"Come on we need to get inside," Nox said picking up. Nox walked over to a door and bashed it in with is sholder.

 

Kira gasped, trying to breath. "Nox...." she pressed her hand to her stomach, feeling blood flow through. "I don't think...." she closed her eyes, feeling darkness take her over. "I love you." she whispered.

 

Zoey licked her fingers from the Twinkie crums and then looked around at everyone else. She scooted over to where Nick was. "Soooo... how are your wings?"

 

Alexa wiped at her eyes, hugging her knees. Making sure her face was hidden she cried silently, missing her sister with every fiber of her being.

 

Zoey looked at him with concern. The light was dancing in her eyes. "Are you sure you're going to be okay?" She titled her head while scanning him. She could tell that it hurt a lot.

 

"Kira stay with me," Nox said setting her down he riped off a part his shirt.

Tears appeared under Kira's eyelids. "I love you." she whispered, then stopped breathing.

Alexa wiped her eyes and got up, rummaging through the food bag.

 

Alexa found some water and rinsed out her mouth. "Be right back." she muttered, running out the building.

 

Abby slowly looked up at Nick. She nodded a little while smiling slightly. "Be careful while you're out there..." she said quietly.

Zoey nodded her head in agreement. "Yeah! The school could still be looking for us..."

 

Alexa ran fast, then stopped, leaning against the wall. She gasped for breath, rubbing at her eyes. "No...." she murmured, sliding down the wall to sit on the ground.

 

Zoey watched Nick leave. She couldn't help but to worry... She sighed out quietly, setting her chin on her knees. She was stuck with Abby, who wasn't much in a mood for talking right now. "Blaaaaah..." She stretched out, flopping down on the floor. "Soooo, boring."

Abby couldn't help but chuckle. "You'll get use to it after a while..."
