Curse of Science

Kira heard a thump above her. She prayed that it was not whoever had stumbled here. She pushed herself off the ground slightly, feeling bruises all over her body. Something was bleeding, she could feel it soaking through her shirt.

 

Nox looked at the two dead men. He started downstairs. Gun in hand and carful. 7 shots.

 

Someone kicked her again, then stepped on her leg, breaking it. She screamed, holding it. "I thought I told you to get up." The voice said, bending down next to her. Kira hid her face behind her face, hiding her tears.

 

"I'm only going to say this once," Nox said pointing his gun behind the person over Kira, "Hands up and step away from the girl."

 

Kira heard another voice, then a gun. She cringed, feeling the person step away from her. "She's not worth anything." the person said, trying to convince the person with the gun. "I'll prove it to you." There was a slicing sound, and Kira gasped, clutching her leg. Blood pooled in her hand.

 

Nox shot the crazy *******. 6 shots.

 

Kira cringed, hearing the shot. She looked up, seeing a guy. "Who..." she stopped, coughing.

 

"Don't move to much," Nox said. Leening down, "your going to be alright."

 

Kira managed a smile, still holding her leg. "But...why did you..." again, she was stopped by coughing.

 

"Because no one disirves this," Nox said, "Now shhh."

 

Kira obeyed this time, taking one hand away to wipe away her tears. Blood was smeared all over her hand. She whimpered, putting her hand back on her leg.

 

Nox grabed a first aid kit and went to work. He cleaned the woumd made stiches put broken bones in makeshift cast. He was able to stop the bleeding. He gave her a painkiller to dull it down a bit.

 

Kira winced, then smiled gratefully. "Thank you." she whispered. "Do you have any water, by any chance?" The painkiller made her slightly woozy.

 

"I might have a bottle in my car," Nox said quietly picking up Kira slowly, "are you going to be okay."

 

"Are any of us ever okay?" she asked, holding her head in her hands. "But I think I'll be okay...."

 

Ray smirked slightly. "Most wolves work in packs you know..." He started to transform, ready for the fight. The other Erasers followed suite. "You're coming with us... then you'll see your little friend again... unless, hm... Of course unless there's been an..." He raised one eyebrow while smirking. "Accident..."


Abby was alone in the darkness... She hated every moment of it... She was still singing quietly to herself, not sure what else to do. She didn't want to go insane. Her voice choked with tears as she sang. "Rain, rain, go away... Come again another day... All the world is waiting for the sun..." Tears streamed down her cheeks. She felt so worried and scared for her friends right now... "Please be okay..."
