Curse of Science

Zoey unwrapped the candy wrapper happy. "Oooo.." She ploped the candy in her mouth and begain to eat it, savoring the taste.

Ray had Abby locked and sealed inside a cage, and tied up as well. His orders, to get her to a different sicience lab then the one she was created in. So... to make things faster, he got himself a chopper, and also a little assistance. Other Erasers were with him and armed. He hopped in the chopper and turned it on.

 

Adair chuckled and looked at Flare. "I doupt it would be safe to take the school down without reneforcemants." He said pondering. "And it would be unwise to think ye self big when we are so small in reality." He said with wisdom.

Willow spred her wings and caught up with Nick, tears in her eyes. 'It was my job to watch her.' She thought replaying the moment in her head. 'I vowed I would protect her... I failed...'

 

Zoey put her hands behind her head while listening to Adiar. She smiled and moved the candy around her mouth. She was content as she could be.

Ray was now off in the chopper. He smiled as he was making his way out of the city. That was way too easy, he thought in his mind. Wait till dad sees this... he'll be proud of me.

 

Willow landed softly beside Nick and folds away her wings. She goes to the last place she saw Abby at. "It's all my fault..." She mumbled placing a hand on her check in total shock.

 

Flare raised an eyebrow. "How many people does she have in there?" He asked. "And, besides, I was just saying, it's better to have me with you than against you. I'm not saying it's gonna change the world or anything. No need to get all fortune-cookie...."

 

Adair smiled. "All I'm say is we need to be careful at what we pln next. This will never be... easy."

 

Zoey sighed and laid on the floor. She picked up a pebble and examined it. It was an okay pebble to her...

 

"That's true. But hey, we'll hit 'em where it hurts. Their soldiers. They don't have an infinite amount of elites." He said, leaning against a wall. He needed to change...he felt it building up inside of him. It was a quirk of his experimentation. "Anyway, that's dangerous. What can we do?"

 

Willow nodded, completely silent. "Do you think Nox?" She questioned softly.

Adair thought. "Well we will had to be decreate..."

 

"Yeah...that's what i'm good at! Like, I can make someone die an hour after I get into contact with them. Hearts are durable." He said, tapping a finger anxiously. They tipped with claws, making clicking sounds on the rock.

 

Nox was driveing down the endless road again he had gotton far this time.

 

Although Ray thought he didn't leave any evidence behind, he did however accidently left something behind where the chopper was. It was a cheep plastic bracelet that Abby always wore on her right wrist. One of the good scientists gave it to her a while back, so she kept it. She trusted that one scientist and that one scientist only. It had charms of a bear, wolf, and an eagle on it. And now, it was finally off of her wrist and laying in the dirt where it dropped.

Ray finally arrived at his distination in a short amount of time. He lugged the cage with Abby in it out of the chopper and looked toward the building which he was suppose to deliver her to. His dad was waiting there. He smirked. "Finally..." He hoisted the cage to balance the weight, and then strode towards the building. "Welcome home little mutant freak." He chuckled to himself and continued to walk.

Abby was still laying unconcious inside the cage. She wouldn't be waking up for a long while.

Zoey tilted her head while finally listening to the conversation. "But... if we take out one science lab... there's still more out there... right?"

 

"Um... Ok..." Willow said. She jumped out of her window anyway and landed a little aways from where the chopper was. She saw the wind swept marks and went over. She looked down and picked up the braclet Abby always wore. She marked this place in her head and went back to the hotel. She picked up the phone and dialed Nox.

Adair shook his head. "Ye are getting cocky by thinking you can handle this." He said while directing his attention to Zoey. "There might be but it will bring us closer to saving other would be experiments."

 

"Where's the gain in living in fear?" He asked. "But, still. There's no gain in dying. We'd have to get up a reasonable force to take down a faciliity. Or....if we free enough, they could go beserk and help us. The hard part is letting them loose." He felt his fangs lengnthen in anticipation.

 

Nox looked at his phone he fliped it open, "hello?"

 

"Um... Hi..." Willow paused and looked at the bracelet she held in her hand. "This is Willow... Will you come back to the hotel. I need to talk to you about... matters." She ended with that so she wouldn't make herself cry.
