Curse of Science

"What did you want to say?" Willow asked, not letting that slip passed her. "What things?" She said going in front of you to look you in the eye. "Nick, Tell me."

 

Nox watched the two from his car. He couldn't hear them but he watched anyway.

 

"And why not. You obviously seem upset about it..." Willow said not letting him avoid it anymore. "You always seem upset nowadays. Tell me Nick..." She asked unsure of what he means. She look and saw Xert. "After we get back."

 

Nox leaned the chair back and took a nap.

 

Flare nodded. "Hey, Adair. So, guess we're on a team now, huh?" He said happily. "I'm glad that you share my point of view with the scientists." He said.

 

Willow nodded, still unsure but walked with Nick anyway.

Adair nodded. He looked up. 'I wonder how this happened.'

 

"Well then tell me." Willow said bluntly.She wanted to know what was troubling him.

 

Willow looked down in thought and nodded. "I know what you men." She said quietly. She put a hand on yours. "And I you. Now was it really that hard?" She said smiling. "When you bundle up feelings no good can come from it."

 

"Because I wasn't trying to hide it." Willow said thinking her words before saying them. "And I knew you would tell me when you got ready or when I forced it out of you." She added chuckling.

BIC:

Abby was left standing there in the room. She stared at the door, then sat down on the bed heavily. She sighed out quietly. "Oh boy..." She looked down at her hands. For once, she wished that she was... somewhere else. Or that she wasn't left out all the time. They were older then her, so she had to accept it. It was always going to be like this... She sniffed and then quickly whiped a stray tear. "No time to cry," she muttered. Her back suddenly stiffened. She felt the hairs of her neck rise up. Something... wasn't quite right...

Abby suddenly felt a hand go over her mouth and she screamed out. But of course it was muffled. She struggled against who ever was holding her, her mind was suddenly started to get foggy. What's happening to me! She tried to hit behind her, but it felt like she was moving five seconds an hour. She felt her ears ring and then paniced. She was falling unconcious.

"Hush now, little birdy," a seething voice whispered in her ear. "Calm down, and relax... there's no use stuggling..."

Abby felt herself getting weaker and weaker. Her eyes were slowly starting to close. What the heck is wrong with me!? And how did they even get in.... Her mind totally shut down. She fell limp in the captor's arms.

Ray smiled and took his hand off of Abby's mouth. He slipped the cloth with the sleeping chemicals (don't know what it's called. <<) back in his pocket. "Have a nice nap," he muttered. He stood up and slung Abby over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes. "You'll be back home when you wake up," he said quietly. He walked over to the window and then hoppped out, disappearing from sight and leaving no evidence behind.

Zoey clapped her hands gleefully. "Yeah! We have a new team member!" She suddenly glomped Flare and then let go just as quickly. "Whoops!" She chuckled nervously. "Sorry, I get excited easily." She giggled and then looked around the cave. "Hey look! Shiney!" She trotted over and bent over to pick it up. "Aw, it's just a candy wrapper..."

 

Adair chuckled and tossed Zoey a candy with the actual cady inside.

"I never got mad at you." Willow said, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "I always tried to protect you and..." She trailed off. Something wasn't right. "Abby!!!! We left her alone!!!"

 

Nox sat in his car still waiting for them to call him.

 

James coughed as he had some air knocked out of him from Zoey's glomp. "Oof." He looked up, smiling. "That's okay. Getting exited is easy to do." Flare said, grinning. He turned to Adair. "So, you ready to get revenge? You'll be happy to have me with you instead of against you..."
