~Savannah~​

Ryu, Ken, Naruto and Lee traversed the Savannah, having only woken up a short time ago.
They discussed their nightmares and their horrifying tales.
"My nightmare was truly terrifying...The Satsui no Hado had completely overtaken me...And I was murdering innocents left and right."
Ken patted his friend on the back.
"Don't worry, buddy. Nagisa locked the Satsui no Hado up for you, remember? You won't have to worry about it for a while."
"I suppose that's true...It's a shame we were separated from her, though. By the way, Ken...What was your nightmare about?"
Ken sighed.
"Well, you spilled the beans on yours. I might as well, too. I was at home with my wife Eliza, and..."
Ken went on to explain his dream, which involved his wife and newborn child being taken from him by Shadaloo.
"That is indeed terrifying...But do not worry, Ken. None of that is real."
"Guess you're right...So, what about you, Lee? You're new here, I think you deserve to go next."
"Hey!"
"Wait your turn, Naruto."
"Right...My dream...It was horrible! My sensei, Guy-Sensei, had been killed by the Akatsuki...and Sasuke was there! He was coming for me! Oh the horror!"
"...Anything else?"
"No. That was it."
Naruto stared at Lee for a moment.
"Riiiiight...Anyway, my nightmare was truly scary...I was face-to-face with the Kyuubi...Or, at least that's what it called itself. See, normally it's supposed to be the giant orange fox thing with nine tails, but this time it was just this little white cat-rabbit thing that called itself Kyuubi. He kept going on and on about making some kind of contract with me...And then I woke u-WHOA!"
Just then, Naruto tripped on something.
"Hey! What's the big idea!?"
He turned around to see Shikamaru laying asleep on the ground.
"Uh...Shikamaru...Is that you?" Naruto asked, shaking up to try and wake him from his supposed sleep.

 

While waiting for the others to wake up, Luka, Ahim, and Kimberly noticed Don and Billy working together and went to check it out. Luka gasped when she saw the almost repaired Navi, Ahim asked, "Is that Navi?" "Yeah, I found her in pieces after that strange attack. She was halfway done when we suddenly went to help you, Marvelous, and the others. There, she's done." Don smiled at his and Billy's teamwork and turned Navi on. She said, "What happened? Where am I? Marvelous, are you okay?!" She flew toward Marvelous, but hit a exact replica of one of Sally's cymbals that Basco somehow produced before she could reach Marvelous.

"Nice to see you haven't changed at all, Navi." Basco said, sighing. Navi shouted after coming out of a daze and said, "It's Basco!!!!!! Wait, I thought Basco was killed and since when did he become a girl?" "You still haven't told us who you are or why you're in Hermione's body?" Harry said, walking up with Ron, Ginny, and Draco. Smiling, Basco turned to Harry and his group, and said, "Basco ta Jolokia, former cook, crew member, and comrade of the Red Pirate Gang, as well as ex-privateer of the Zangyack Empire. You see, this girl had problem waking up and I offered to help her. Something must have happened to her for me to take control like this." Harry thought about it and sighed while Basco turned to Marvelous, kneeling beside him, he asked, "You okay, Marvelous?"

 

~Savannah~

Gaara and Erza halted when they spotted Naruto and Lee and Shikamaru. "Friends of yours?" Gaara closed his eyes, the panic from his nightmare receeding, "Yes."

Shikamaru opened his eyes and scowled at the blonde idiot, "Oh not you... Naruto, can't you see I'm in the middle of something here!? Jeez, get down!" Naruto was the same as always...annoying and dimwitted. "What're you going out here, Naruto? Lee? And who are these guys? Nevermind that..." Shikamaru reached into the grass and pulled on his chunin flak jacket. Cracking his neck, Shikamaru sat up, waiting for when his enemies would wake up. "Naruto...I don't have time to play ninja with you. You see those guys? They ain't too friendly..."

 

~Savannah~

Blanc broke out of the group hug and proceded to look at all of the strange people that were surrounding them from all sides. She took in a very deep breath before she proceded to yell at the top of her lungs...

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU PEOPLE SUPPOSED TO BE!!!"

This caused Merlin to cover his ears at how loud the Lowee CPU was being and proceded to say nothing while both The Darkness and Nox Decious started to awakened. "That was one strange nightmare I had gentlemen" Nox Decious explained as he rubbed his head before The Darkness spotted him and yelled aloud "DECIOUS!!" causing the mage to jump as he responded back yelling "DARKNESS!"

"Well it's official, all of you are strange..and I still never figured out that pregnant Zelda cosplayer" AVGN quipped as he rubbed his forehead shortly before Dr. Donez asked "Is anyone here a doctor, My friend's ankle was just broken"

"Well I'm glad to say that everyone had a good nap, including good ol' Blanc over there" Neptune explained giggling while Vert was looking around for Marty. Noire stood there still in thought about the nightmare she had.

Kamina awoke slower than Genome had done, and was surprised to find she had tears down her face, but thankfully, no one else around her seemed to be awake to notice or was otherwise too busy, she quickly wiped her eyes and looked over in the direction of the man who revealed himself to be The Spiral King. "So 'that' is the guy we are looking for? Oh come on... he's a complete dumbass!"
And that was when the young Genome sped off in his own to confront the Spiral King.
"Crud!" Kamina quickly stood and rushed over to Kokuren Lagann, climbing up it and making her way to Simone. Simone was curled up in the cockpit of Lagann, tears also coming from her eyes. "Hey, Simone. Come on girl... you're alright, I'm here." She said comfortingly as she shook Simone awake, and offered the girl a big grin full of confidence to reassure the poor girl.
"S-sis?" Simone looked up at Kamina timidly and confused.
"It's alright Simone... it was all just a bad dream."
"Oh sis! I thought I'd lost you!" Simone hugged Kamina around the waist desperately, like letting go would mean she would lose her forever.
"Heh... Hey, just who the hell do you think I am, Simone? I'm not planning on going anywhere. You don't have to worry about a thing. The reputation of Team Kokuren echoes far and wide! As if it's mighty leader, a woman with so much masculinity she makes even the manliest man quake in his boots, would just disappear on her beloved soul-sister!"
Simone looked up at Kamina for a second before blinking and rubbing the tears from her eyes. "R-right!"
"Now come on Simone! There's a party getting started, and we're about to crash it." she grinned as she took out her famous iconic sunglasses and flicked them onto her face, and offering the girl a thumbs up before hopping down and taking her place inside Kokuren's cockpit. It was time to take charge since the other her was currently in dream-land.
"Let's go, Simone!" and Kokuren Lagann came to life under their joint control. "First of all... time for a crazy wake up call." she smirked as she started planning things out.
Kokuren Lagann quickly made it's way over to Simon's Lagann that had been thrown by Gretchen and picked it up. "Hey, little buddy. You gotta wake up now, we can't have you setting a bad example for Simone now can we?" she told him softly, waiting for him to wake up, before she moved onto the next phase of her plan. "Right! Time for you to go and wake up the rather sexy male me!" she grinned, apparently completely comfortable with and accepting of the fact that she had a male version of herself, before drawing Kokuren Lagann's arm back which held Simon's Lagann.
"W-wait sis?! You're not gonna throw m- him, are you?!"
"Of course I am! He's as tough as you so I know he can take it."
"B-but?!-"
"No time for that Simone! ...NOW! GOOOOOOOOOOO! SUPER-ULTRA-COMBUSTION OF A MANLY ALARM CLOCK-WAKE UP CALL-MANOUVEEEEEEERRR!" and so Kokuren Lagann threw the small face Gunman at full speed, right at Gurren who had earlier been thrown in the other direction by Gretchen.

 

Marvelous awakened and pucnhed Basco right in the stomach and he sat up. I'd rather nto wake up to see your ugly mug Basco." he grumbled and got up, brushing off the dirt on his clothes and noticed Navi. "Still alive Bird?" he said and crossed his arms, he wasn't going to let anyone know about what he experienced. "Now I want to give some payback for what I seen." he said with a serious tone.

 

Despite the pain, Basco smiled and stood up, facing the other way. He was pondering how he was effected by the weird spell when he felt something, with a sigh, Basco groaned in pain before kneeling down to the pain, Luka said, "You better not trying to get our sympathy, Basco!!!" "What?! I-I wouldn't do that." a different voice said, Harry sighed and smiled, Hermione stood up and looked at the Gokaigers. Shaking, she bowed, "Sorry if Basco brought up any bad memories!!!!!! I wanted to wake up, but I couldn't on my own for some reason. So Basco appeared and helped me, but he took control!!! Now, because we share a bond, I can't look at you without feeling guilt, regret, and sorrow!!!! I'm sorry!!!"

"It's okay, just be careful for now." Ahim said as she smiled and held her in her arms, Hermione wiped her eyes and sighed, looking at Marvelous before looking away. Navi shouted at Marvelous, "Don't tell me 'Bird'!' before hearing Hermione and kept quiet for once.

 

Savannah: Awakening

Dalek Sec woke up screaming, shaking, and spinning around wildly. The vocal circuits almost burned-out from the sheer loudness of his voice.

The blue light in the Supreme Dalek's eyestalk lit up. "SYSTEMS RESTORING. HIBERNATION STATE LIFTING."

Vexen slowly lifted himself off the ground and rubbed his neck. In his nightmare, Axel had shredded his throat apart and cremated his remains before reporting back, apparently under orders from Saix.

Davros wasn't fully aware that he was awake so, as he was reliving the time the Kaleds wanted him to kill himself after sustaining the injuries that left crippled, he unknowingly gave his motive rant out loud for everyone nearby to hear.
"When I press this switch, I will die. The poison in that projectile injector will kill in a moment. It is a perfect, efficient, killing machine. It will be painless they say. They tell me they know the pain I am in, as if they could! And that just by pressing this switch I will end that suffering forever.

They say I should be the one to do it, but they are weak. They can not bring themselves to look at me, let alone kill me! They hesitate; they fear me! Even when I'm like this, and they have their perfect, pure, strong bodies, they fear me! And well they should! I am no longer like them. I am above them! I have the ultimate power: the power of life and death! This...body, this...is my dominion. Mine to command; no one else's! I can sense them out there in the corridor. Cowering. Not daring to speak. They are the frail ones. They are the crippled. They are the ones without choice.

They! Will! Die! They will lose this war and they will die! I could join them in defeat and death, but if I survive, then something stronger will emerge. A new race! The supreme power in the universe! I! Will! Not! Press this switch! I! Will! Not! Cower! I! Will! Not! Die! I! Will! Not! Die! THIS! IS! NOT! THE END! THIS! IS! ONLY...!"
Davros shot up and pointed up at the sky. High voltage electricity surged through his mechanical hand in an outburst.
"...THE BEGINNING!"

Doppelganger, still recovering from the blinding light in its nightmare, walked over to Hermione as an ambiguous, androgynous silhouette and pulled out the piece of her soul it stole earlier out from its chest. It held out the bright blue flame to her in an act of false generosity.

"I believe you're missing this? Oh that's right, I'm sorry."

The demon absorbed the soul fragment back into itself by crushing it in its hand.

"You lost."

 

Having just woken up, both groups stared at each other, Janus glaring at Zeikfried while Ashley started shaking looking at Lord Blazer.
"You....how are you here....."
"Ask yourself the same question....Ashley Winchester...."
Before anyone could strike each other, Vash shouted. "UFO!!!" This made them look up in the sky to see something towards a spot a few meters away. CRASH! The ground shook as the ship crashed in the savannah near the two enemy teams, and coughing could be heard. When the dust cleared, Ashley looked towards the newcomers in disbelief.

"Darn! Things always go wrong whenever we go near a planet! Wouldn't you agree?"
"Ard! Ar-Ard Ard!!"

 

Feeling something, the color and light in Hermione's eyes disappeared and she began to fall, but Ahim kept her up. Pulling out her Gokai Sabre, Luka pierced Doppelganger in the chest, she said, "Give that girl back the part of her soul, you monster!!!" Without trying to be seen, Harry ran to get Ichigo's help. Don, Navi, Kimberly, and Billy were shocked at what happened. Ron, Ginny, and Draco gasped at the sight. Ahim held Hermione in her arms and was glad she still had the other pieces of her soul inside her and was going to protect her.

Changing to the Black Ranger, Tommy pulled out the Brachio Staff and said, "You know how to tick someone off, huh?" Luka got out of the way as Tommy aimed and fired a energy ball at Doppelganger. Taking out his Gokai Gun, Don tried to shoot Doppelganger.

 

Marvelous punched through Doppelganger with pure brute strange as Luka piercred it from the front and grasped ahold of something. "I'ma a pirate so..I'll start by stealing that!" he said and kicked Doppelganger in the back, forcing him to further impale himself on Luka's sword as he held the fragment of Heromine's soul in his hand by merely wrenching it out with brute force.

Marvelous then walked other to Hermione and dropped the Fragment onto her, allowing the fragment to return to her body as Marvelous brought the Gokai Sabre.

 

"Haven't you all learned anything yet?"

All attacks towards the demon harmlessly passed through it, Marvelous' attempt to grab the soul was no exception. Doppelganger did nothing to retaliate. It did notice, however, that everyone attacking it had two more shadows than they should've had.

"By the way, when was the last time you counted your shadows?"

 

Savannah - Awakening

As Allen awoken he took a look around and had no clue where he was. He assumed that he'd gotten lost and fallen asleep somewhere.

As Train continued to snore in his sleep, he was finally awoken by the irritating sensation on his nose. Sitting up with drowsy eyes, he looked around to see where he was.

Both Hero and Hiro both found themselves just waking up. They looked at each other with a confused look on their faces as tried to figure out where they were.

As the now awake Haseo rubbed the back of his head, he took a look beside him and saw Kite still sleeping. "Hey kid, wake up."

As Kite finally woke up, he managed to catch a glimpse of a ball of Azure floating behind Haseo.

 

Luka, Don, and Tommy looked at their shadows in shock, Ahim gasped and tried to run away while carrying the unconscious girl on her back but tripped and fell. Ron didn't dare bring out his spear, Ginny held onto her brother, shaking in fear. Draco wondered what Doppelganger was made of. In a desperate attempt to help, Navi flew toward Doppelganger and tried to attack Doppelganger. Looking at Doppelganger, Luka shouted, "What are you trying to pull? Some kind of trick?!" Ahim managed to sit up and still hold Hermione in her arms.

Harry returned, and switching his sphere to Dark Knight, gripped his sword, waiting for the right moment to attack. Within Hermione's soul, Hermione was standing back to back with Basco. He asked, not looking at her, "What's wrong?" "I found out what happened to me, but I lost it......" Hermione said, looking at the ground. "I may never get it back." "But if Marvelous wasn't concerned about you, he wouldn't be fighting to steal it back for you." Basco said, smiling. Hermione wondered how he knew that despite the both of them standing in her soul.

 

"Oh please, it's just a fragment. From what I've seen, the gap has been filled, by letting someone else's soul in no less, but still filled. And the extra shadows? That's not me, no. I can't do anything like that...yet. They're my piranhas. And they haven't had any meat in years."

The extra shadows on each person stretched out to Doppelganger and left their hosts (or rather, prey). In an instant, the very air around Doppelganger went black.

"They live on a billion worlds, including Earth. Wherever there's meat, they are there. I only wanted to drop by, anyway. And for the record, I'm not meat. Go ask your 'Doctors' about them; my fish tell me they've seen them here. I think they'll gladly tell you more."

The swarm around Doppelganger spread off into the wind and the demon disappeared once more.

The Supreme Dalek saw the whole the thing happen from a short distance. It opened a communication network to every Dalek on the planet. "CONFIRMED: DOPPELGANGER HAS ALLIED WITH THE VASHTA NERADA. ALL DALEK FORCES ON MAXIMUM ALERT. SCAN SHADOWS FOR LIFEFORMS AT ALL TIMES."

That was odd. It sounded like it was nervous. Desperate. Scared.

 

Luka groaned after Doppelganger left, even if Hermione let Basco's soul in, her own soul wasn't complete without the missing piece. Groaning, Hermione woke up and looked at Luka and Don, who put their weapons away, and Tommy whose transformation cancelled out. They all had sadden looks on their faces, Ahim noticed Hermione awake and smiled, asking, "Are you alright, Hermione?" "Yes, but I don't understand. You know I hold the soul of the man who you all hate, yet you'd saved and protected me, why?" Hermione asked, sitting up and looking at each member of the Gokaigers.

"We couldn't just leave you at that awful creature's mercy, could we?" Don said, smiling as well as admitting he wanted to know her more, Luka smiled and nodded, "That's right. Even though Basco did help you by letting his soul in, your own soul isn't complete without that missing piece. That's my only regret." Luka received a surprise when Hermione suddenly hugged her. Ahim and Don smiled, Luka smiled and hugged her back. Letting go, Hermione stood up and went to Marvelous, she couldn't look at him in the eyes, but she said, "Thank you for saving me, Captain Marvelous........." Navi stayed where she was, watching a bit surprised.

 

Marvelosu heard hermione's thanks and crossed his arms, looking away. "If we see soemthign we don't like, we wreck them, that how us pirates do things, that Doppelganger is someone we don't like at all." he merely said and looked at Navi. "Oi Bird, tell us a fortune." he said to Navi.

The other characters gathered round the spectacle.

 

"Don't call me 'Bird'!!" Navi shouted before flying up and saying, "Lets treasure navigate!!!!!" She flew around until she hit her head on the cymbal Hermione pulled out to defend herself from Navi hitting her. In a daze, Navi said, "Careful, careful. Watch your shadow and your back before you act! Nothing out of the usual." Hermione wondered if the robotic parrot was referring to Doppelganger attempting to target the others.

 

~Savannah~

Teridax looked over at the bird and said "I don't need to watch my own shadow little birdie when my mask has the power of shadows in it" shortly before he walked over to join the spectacle while Compa and IF started to giggle before kissing each other passionately on the lips.

"So now what are we supposed to do, just wait and stand around for this shadow demon to come or do something about it!" Noire asked irritated and slightly peeved

"I dunno but I do know one thing, it's already nightfall and if anyone left now they would probably get lost in this strange world and get themselves killed" Vert said as she started to explain it to everyone only for a particular whistle to sound throughout the night sky causing heads to turn in confusion.

 

-Hope-

Looking at the horizon, Hope groaned and thought of his nightmare. Why was he reminded the pain that brought him to the darkness in the first place? Also, he had to be reminded of his mother and who killed her, Snow. He thought the worst part of his dream had to be when Vanille and Saber Alter were about to fall and he couldn't save either of them. Staring at his Command Seals, Hope snapped his fingers and said, "Saber, come here. I need to talk with you."

-Squall-

Looking at Tina and Vaan, Squall kept quiet about his nightmare. How could he tell Tina that in his nightmare, he killed Vaan and some weirdo guy killed the other warriors of light, then abused Tina of his own will while he was forced to watch in a cage with Rinoa's dead body. He sighed and looked the other way when Tina and Vaan looked at him and wondered what was wrong with him.

-Vanitas-

When Fang hugged him, Vanitas thought of his nightmare and sighed. He couldn't dare tell Fang about his nightmare and held her back. Vanille looked out and wondered if Hope was alright. She held the flower that was somehow still in bloom and sighed, listening to Fang recall her nightmare. Vanitas looked at her in surprise and held her close, promising that she was going to be alright. Fang smiled and nodded, holding him in her arms.

-Roxas & Xion-

Roxas and Xion couldn't even talk about their nightmares, they sat next to each other, keeping quiet. They only glanced at each other and looked away, Roxas felt awful about his nightmare while Xion couldn't think about hers.

-Marvelous' group-

Looking at Navi who fell to the ground after her predication was made than at Marvelous, Hermione asked, putting away the cymbal, "Is that how she always makes a fortune?" "What did Navi mean, 'watch your shadows and your backs'?" Don asked, looking confused. Thinking, Luka said, "Maybe that thing will try and attack again?" "Than we need to be careful." Ahim said, concerned.
