"Your helmet?" Kamina said from within Gurren, the mecha's mouth moving along with his voice, giving the illusion that the mecha itself was speaking.
"You don't have a head to put it on! What are you gonna do, wear it on your ass?"
Grinning at the reaction he knew Viral would have at this comment, he pointed at the helmet on Lagann, both himself and as Gurren, as he spoke up.
"You listen here you overgrown Grapehippo! This helmet on our head is a symbol! A symbol that we don't have to be afraid of the likes of you and the Spiral King. A symbol that we can and will kick your asses every time you pick a fight with us! We, the human race, will not lay down and be slaughtered like animals, but will stand tall, creating hope, and a future for those on the surface! This is what Team Dai-Gurren, Gurren Lagann, and even Simon and me, stand for! Kick reason to the curb and do the impossible; that is how we roll!"
"You pesky little apes!" Cytomander suddenly yelled from the Dai-Gunten. "I'll show you what--"
"That's enough of that." a voice suddenly spoke out, as a tall Gunman stepped forward on the battleship, sillouhetted against the sun.

"You claim that humans need your guidance? That you're going to protect them for no other reason than 'they exist'? Don't make me laugh."
The figure leapt down, revealing itself to be the same Gunman that Viral had fought alongside back at Teppelin.
Char Aznable.
"Humanity is weak, misguided. They persecute those different to them, and despite all their talk have nothing but war and death to show for their so-called ideals."
"What are you talking about? You beastmen--"
"My name is Char Aznable. A Newtype human. I have nothing in common with the Spiral King's Beastmen except goal; the eradication of humanity."
"No way..." Banagher said, frozen in his cockpit. "Char Aznable... the Red Comet that disappeared during the fall of A Baoa Qu..."
"You know him?" Leeron said, from his side-seat in the Unicorn.
"If we're from different worlds, he's from mine. He's a legendary pilot that led the Neo-Zeon to nearly destroy Earth."
"Whoever you are, if you're on their side, you're going down!" Kamina insisted, running straight at him with drills bursting from Gurren Lagann's pulled back fist. Almost immediately, Char's Gunman spun around the fist, slamming it's foot into the chest of Gurren, knocking it back.
"Direct attacks like that won't work against me." he said simply, standing there arms folded.
"Damn... just who the hell is this guy?"
"Bro, I think... maybe we should retreat?" Simon suggested, a view of him appearing on the interior of Gurren's cockpit.
"Not a chance! If direct attacks won't work, we'll just go with indirect ones!" he said, grabbing a nearby boulder and launching it at the enemy, who swiftly dodged, causing said boulder to fly at Viral's Enki instead.
"The hell?!" Viral suddenly announced, dodging at the last second. "Come over here and fight me with your fist, you damn naked ape!"
"This rock is my fist!" Kamina yelled back, hurling another at him with force, aiming directly for Viral this time.

"You there." Char suddenly said, his Gunman looking over to Banagher's Unicorn. "You're a Newtype too, aren't you? What are you doing working with them?"
"I should ask you the same question." Banagher said, gripping the controls. "Why do you want to wipe out humans so badly?"
"Humanity can't be trusted to accept change by itself. Our only option is to force change on them, and make them realise that we are the next stage in their evolution." he said, not really making much sense to anyone but Banagher.
"You want to kill everyone over misunderstanding? You're no better than Frontal!" he yelled, the mecha suddenly changing, inside and out.

Now in it's new form, the Unicorn Gundam drew it's rifle, firing a single massive shot from it, which tore through the air with a heavy sound. Despite missing it's target, Char, by a wide margin, it scraped the side of another Gunman... causing it to explode violently from just that tiny mark.
"That much power in a single shot?!" Char said, as his mecha slid across the ground from the dodge. "Impossible... it's a Gundam?!"
Stowing the rifle back in it's original position, Unicorn Gundam charged, slashing an X-shaped pattern towards Char as it drew it's beam sabers. It was faster than he realised; like it was responding to his will rather than any controls.
"GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!"
"...I didn't count on this." Char said, drawing his own beam sabers and striking back, but the Gundam was certainly the stronger of the two.
"We may have to rethink our strategy. UGH!"
He was suddenly struck on the side by the Gundam, the blades taking an entire arm of his Gunman with just a single swing.
"I'm not going to make this!"

Hearing that Nixio needed help, Vita swung her hammer into the Gunman closest to him, sending it flying with a massive dent in the side.
"Get up and fight would ya?!" she said to him, as another, this one looking more heavily armoured, approached.
"Graf Eisen!" she called, her weapon responding instantly.
"Roger!" it said, loading three cartridges into itself, as it was raised into the air. "Gigantforme!"
The hammer changed, forming a new head to itself, approximately ten times the size of the old one.
"FULL POWER! GIGANTSCHLAG!"
The hammer was suddenly massve; bigger than any of the Gunmen here entirely, as it was swung down towards the new Gunman, crushing it into complete oblivion.

"Reinforce, Mistress, now is your chance to move!" Zafira yelled, before throwing one Gunman into another over his shoulder.
"But what about--"
"There are more than enough of us handling this here. Go!"
Reinforce placed her hand on Hayate's, nodding at her mistress as she did so, indicating her agreement.
"If we go now, we may be able to free those taken during this distraction."
"I... guess that's true. We'll have to hurry!" Hayate relented, flying along with Reinforce towards the Castle.
Strangely... the great oak doors were open, as though somebody within was expecting them. That indeed was curious, but being as it provided an opening for them, they didn't dwell on it too much.

~~Inside the Castle~~

"Well, well, well." Facilier said suddenly, looking at the others. "It looks like we've got ourselves a few intruders right now. Any suggestions on what to do, fellas?"

~~Deepholm~~

​

The Saber appeared to think on this for a brief moment, before she answered plainly.
"You may call me Alter." she said, before adding something more, that hadn't been asked for.
"I have no true identity. What I am now is what I have always been, and always will be. As my Master, I shall obey your will so long as you head towards your goal of attaining the Grail."
Despite the sternness in her tone, it was clear what she was speaking of; loyalty. She was, essentially, confirming that she would not betray him so long as he did the same. And as far as one could tell, she was speaking genuinely.

~~Dream World~~

Something was stirring outside the vision of the Princesses, but it was definitely there.
Vanille, having already spoken to it, would recognise the source instantly. The being of darkness that had been there before.
But this time, it seemed far less interested in the Princesses. Or perhaps that much light in one place meant it couldn't come anywhere near. Either way, it seemed to have other things it wanted to do, but it was definitely there.

 

~Vert~

Vert shook her head to get it back into focus again as she said "The Castle, I need to get to that castle!" remembering where they were going to even start witth.

~Decious~

"Lord Blazer, Zeikfried I want you two to stand back. I will handle this demon myself" Decious ordered as he started to fire a few magical blasts of Red/Black energy at Janus.

~Neptune, Compa, and IF~

Neptune had finally managed to get to the front doors of the castle and landed outside a few feet away. Letting Compa and IF off Netpune sighed in relief "Finally, we're here" shortly before Neptune started to walk into the open Oak doors with IF and Compa quietly following.

~Blanc & Noire~

"I'm starting to think we're not needed here" Blanc quietly commented watching the battle shortly before Noire added "Yeah, let's just get out of here and get back to that castle" in which after then they blasted off towards the Castle

~Teridax~

Teridax didn't say anything as he just simply followed the group with his mind in complete thought about what had happened so far

 

-Castle-

Fang kept quiet as she wandered the castle with the others. Her feelings about seeing Vanille again and beating the villains who took her raged inside her. Rydia and Terra tried to keep her calm as they followed Edge through the castle.

--Villains Area--

"Let me defeat the intruders, my masters." Pumyra said, bowing at them. Though she considered Ivan her true master, she also thought of the other villains as her masters. "Just a moment, Pumyra." Ivan said, sucking inside his guts, he shot something out of his nose to the far end of the room, the small amount of ooze spread and grew, becoming bird-like creatures*. "Take those Tengu Warriors to dispose of the intruders."

-Group-

Harry followed Ichigo back to the mountains, hoping that they would come in time to help the others. Michal carried Hermione on his back as he followed, curious about Latias. He pondered why she was so cheerful in a time like this, but kept quiet.

-Dream World-

Vanille froze, feeling the source, and looked around, the other Princesses looked at her concerned. When she saw the being, Vanille slowly walked toward it, but kept her distance. Her eyes almost seemed to ask the being what happened to Dysley and who was the new member of the villains' group, Hermione kept Vanille going from any farther.

*OOC: The image I used for the Tengu Warriors is the from the TV series, but there's no difference from the TV and Movie versions. Yes, that's how Ivan creates the Tengu Warriors in the movie.

-MODERN SONIC AND TAILS-

Modern Sonic and Tails continued to fend off the Gunmen on foot.
"Yo, Tails! You think you should take on 'o these things?"
"Nah, I think I'll be fine for now. Besides, I've got something that'll work just as well."
Tails had a small mechanical device on his wrist, on which was a button. Tails pressed said button, and the device expanded around his hand, resembling something similar to Mega Man X's Mega Buster.
"What's that supposed to be?" Sonic asked, keeping an eye on his surroundings.
"Take a look and find out!"
Tails aimed his "arm cannon" at an approaching Gunman, and fired it. At first glance, it looked like nothing more than a small lightning orb.
When it hit the Gunman, nothing happened...At first.
"Hah! Is that all you've got you little-"
Just then, the Gunman glowed a bright white before exploding.
"Dude! That was awesome!"
Tails blow into the barrel of his arm cannon, as if blowing away smoke.
"Yep. It overloads the electrical systems inside anything mechanical so much that it causes an explosion. The only downside is that it takes a few minutes to charge..."
"Don't worry, buddy! I've got your back until your device recharges."

-CLASSIC SONIC AND TAILS, GENOME-

Classic Tails was going on a rampage with his new Gunman, fighting as if he had been piloting Gunmen for years.
In the distance, Genome was contemplating how to go about fighting Viral and Char.
He then noticed Classic Tails's Gunman, and how well it was fighting.
Unsure of whether or not it was friendly, Genome charged towards it and knocked it over.
"Open your hatch, or I'll drill it open!"
The hatch opened, revealing the blood-lusting Classic Tails, along with a motion-sick Classic Sonic.
"You don't look like the Beastmen...Who and what are you?"
"My name is Tails. This is Sonic. We're fighting against all of these robots, I only stole this one so I would have a better chance."
Genome thought for a moment...This 'Tails' person obviously wasn't a human, but he obviously wasn't on the Spiral King's side...He had been beating down those other Gunmen like it was his job.
"Alright, Tails. I've got an idea. You just stand back up, close your hatch, and let me do the rest."
Genome hopped off of C.Tails's Gunman.
Tails stood it up and closed the hatch, as he was asked.
Genome leapt into the air, where Zen's arms and legs retracted into it's body.
They were replaced with a Drill coming from the bottom of Zen. The drill began to spin as Zen charged toward the top of C.Tails's Gunman.
"W-What're you doing!?"
"We're gonna combine!"

Zen's drill slammed through Fennec's* top, the Drill just barely missing Sonic and Tails on the inside.
The inside of Fennec began to glow green, C. Tails and C. Sonic marveled at the sight of it.
The "spikes" on it's top moved back, repairing themselves from Zen's penetration as they moved.
When they stopped moving, they extended and grew out, forming Sonic-like spikes. An opening line was also made, as if something was stored inside them.
Next, the arms and legs on Fennec grew out, just like Gurren's did when it combined with Lagann.
"The ultimate combination of fighting spirit!"
Viral heard Genome's echoing call, and turned back, whilst still dodging Kamina's rock-throwing.
"What the- He combined with that Gunman!?"
The front of Zen grew a large horn**, just as if it were the complete Lazengann Gunman.
"The unbeatable mixture of Man and Animal's will to survive: Fenneczen!!!"
An enormous bolt of lightning struck behind Fenneczen, causing the ground behind them to shatter.
Genome crossed his arms inside of Fenneczen's head.
"Looks like Gurren and Lagann aren't the only Gunmen that can combine, huh?"
Classic Sonic and Classic Tails were still awe-struck over their Gunman's combination.
"Now that we're on an equal playing field, why don't I lend you two a hand?"
Fenneczen began to walk toward Viral's Enkidu.
As it did so, the "spikes" on Fenneczen's back opened, revealing two yellow and white swords. The mecha grabbed hold of them and pulled them out.
"It's payback time for what you did to Lazengann, you Beastman bastard! I'm ready when you are, Kamina, Simon."
"I hope your co-pilot doesn't mind being cut in half just like your other Gunman was!"

-Yugi and Yusei-

Their monsters had been destroyed, and their cards were running out.
"Yugi...We have to leave. Now..."
"I think you're right, Soufflé..."
Yusei sighed.
"Let's just go...It looks like they're getting distracted on what's going on over there."
Yusei pointed toward Fenneczen's transformation.
Yugi nodded in agreement as they turned around and began to run off.

Minutes Later...

After they had gotten a good distance away from the battle, Yusei noticed something in the air.
It looked like a dragon...A dragon that belonged to a friend of his.
"There. That's where we're gonna go. Let's go, Yugi."
"Whatever you say, Puntei."
"Oh, come on, that's not even a real word!"
Yusei continued forward, annoyed at Yugi.
Yugi followed behind.

*Fennec is the kind of Fox that Tails is.

-Yusei & Yugi-

While riding on the back of her dragon, Akiza looked down at the ground. She gasped in surprise, she thought she saw the figure of her friend. Asking the Black Rose Dragon to land, it obeyed its master and landed, Akiza waited on the back to see if she saw right. She would so great if it really was Yusei, then she wouldn't feel lonely anymore.

-Castle-

The group was stopped suddenly when they ran into Pumyra and the Tengu Warriors. "Tengu Warriors, destroy the intruders!!!!" Pumyra ordered, the bird-like warriors obeyed her command and attacked the group. Rydia and Tina used their combined magic to attack, Edge used most of his Ninjutsu to attack while Garnet healed the wounded. Yuna changed into her different spheres, not wanting to change into her ultimate one just yet before two of the warriors grabbed her and Serah, flying up in the air, intent on the fall killing them. None of the warriors attacked Fang as it seemed Pumyra wanted to finish the tough l'Cie on her own. Fang gripped her spear while Pumyra brought and loaded her crossbow, the two opponents glared at each other before attacking.

~Akiza~​

Yusei smiled as Akiza landed. Finally someone who knew his name!
"Akiza! What're you doing here?"
"A friend of yours, Poonta-"
"DON'T EVEN!"
After telling Yugi off, Yusei turned back to Akiza.
"You'll have to excuse him...He seems to have caught a severe cased of stupidity."
"Hey! I'll have you know that stupidity is a very serious condition!"

~Maleficent's Castle~​

In the halls of the castle was a masked man. He moved swiftly and quietly, making sure that he remained unseen.
Down the hall was an open door. Voices could be heard from inside the room.
There was a woman's voice, and a man's (lion's) voice.
They spoke of how the eighth Princess Of Heart did not have a pure light heart, but a pure dark heart.
"Darkness!? How can that be..." He thought.
They then went on to say that the eighth princess would be there soon.
"Staying here may not be the best idea...But I might be too late to stop them if I leave...Damn..."
Kilik looked around, making sure nobody was there. He decided to wait in the hallway, and if anyone came along, he would deal with them quietly.

~The Battleship Halberd~​

-THOR-

Now Mjolnir-less, Thor was at a slight disadvantage.
As Wrath came at him (bro), Thor was just barely dodging Wrath's blade strikes.
One strike came, where Thor found an opening and grabbed his arm. Instantly afterwards, Thor summoned Mjolnir to him.
With the way the two were positioned, Mjolnir was heading straight for Wrath's back.
Thor grabbed Wrath's other arm, holding it in place with his Godly strength.
"You should learn not to underestimate a God." Thor said as Mjolnir flew towards Wrath's backside.

-IRON MAN-

Tony's armor was scratched big time by Lust's claws, leaving deep marks across the front.
"Well, well...Kitty's got claws."
He made his way away from Lust, analyzing her (in more ways that one).
"Any suggestions, Jarvis?"
"She utilizes melee strikes using her extendable fingers, sir. Using long-range maneuvers may prove to be the best course of action."
"Looks like the tables are turned then."
"How so, sir?"
Iron Man began firing bore blasts at Lust from his hands.
"Most of the time it's the ladies playing hard to get. Now it's the other way around."

~/The Bridge:

Multiple screens on the Halberd's bridge were monitoring the battles occurring around the ship, as well as keeping an eye on the events playing out in Maleficent's Castle. GLaDOS patched into the com-link in Loki's helmet, "Master, Maleficent has become aware of the 8th princess's role in Kingdom Hearts. I'll keep you updated on anything further."
Meanwhile, while GLaDOS was keeping the ship aloft, Meat Knight had been quietly taking measures to break out of the cage he was confined in. "Your efforts are wasted, it'll take allot more than you can muster to open-" A sword sliced through the bars of the cage, it appeared to be a light green sword made up of energy. The Green Lantern had made it onto the bridge and freed Meat Knight, "You have my thanks, Lantern." Hal nodded as the knight found his Galaxia Sword and pointed it GLaDOS. "It's over AI, this ship is mine once again. Surrender now or I'll turn you into spare parts."
"It would be yours, if you had no conscience to speak of."
Meat Knight looked on perplexed at the AI until her word's meaning made sense as a feed of his commands came through on the monitor. Hawkeye, Batman...and the Green Lantern. Meta Knight spun around in a split second to see Hal, meeting his gaze in shock. "That's...not me!"
"Obviously, it's my master's Envy."

~/Lower Deck:

Hawkeye and Batman were unaware of the fact that the Green Lantern they were trusting to cover their backs was actual Envy, disguising himself as Hal. "Everything is looking clear guys, keep moving."
"Roger that, not seeing any oncoming knights up here either, how you doing bats?"
He got no response, after a few repeated calls to Batman, Clint turned around to see Hal holding a knife to the Batman's throat.
"Whoa whoa, dude. I know bats was kinda being a jerk back there, but we've got to save Meta Kni-"
"Shut up and drop your bow, now."
"What in the hell are you-"
"I SAID DROP IT!"
Barton dropped his bow and held his hands up, "There's a good little human. You know it's not hard to manipulate your kind when one of your friends is in danger-" It was now apparent to the two that this wasn't their comrade, as the impostor was getting in a chuckle over Barton's expense, Batman elbowed him in the chest. The false Hal reeled back and dropped the knife, Batman turned welding a batrang as Hawkeye retrieved his bow.
"You're not our friend, you aren't even a human. What are you creature?"
The impostor began laughing almost hysterically, "OH you've got that one right, buddy. I'm much more than a human could ever hope to be!" Red sparks began arcing out of the impostor as he changed form from his copy of Hal into a form he chose to be his usual. "The names Envy, I'm a homunculus."
"A homunculus aye? Well that's great, mind telling us where are actual friend is?"
"I'm sure he's watching our little show right now with the good knight and GLaDOS."
"Well then." Batman unleashed multiple batarangs at Envy as Hawkeye fired away an arrow into his chest. "Let's give him a show!"

~/Outside Deck:

Wrath's strength was great, but not nearly on par with Thor's god like strength. He stood, helplessly clenching his swords as the hammer hurdled toward his back. Loki looked on without flinching or making a move to save his supposed child. A moment later the hammer impacted Wrath's back and shattered his backbone, along with causing what would be life ending tram to his body. He lied motionless on the ground for a moment before the red sparks began arcing out.
"Bravo brother, you managed to kill him. But you see, I've given all of my children a very good healing ability. You'll have to kill him more than once for the power within him to fail."
Wrath leapt to his feet, swords crossed. He X-sliced Thor's throat, the demi god barely having enough to time to doge such an attack. "There you have it god of thunder, you're in a battle you can't possibly hope to win. Your strength will run out sooner or later and I'll deliver the finishing blow."

~/Iron Man vs. Lust:

"Human foolishness never ceases to amaze me." Lust mocked as she dodged the oncoming fire, her chase after Stark was halted when one of the blasts grazed her side and sent her flying into the wall. She recovered swiftly and extended her ultimate spears, slicing the across the floor she tore shrapnel into the air and flung it toward Iron Man. "I'm sure that brings back warm and fuzzy feelings, doesn't it darling?" She made her way behind Stark in a flash and caressed the side of his helmet, "So what have you always thought would be good last words?"

 

~Rescue Team~

Ichigo punched a Tengu Warrior with his arm and sent him flyinto the castle wall, his beak awkwardly squashed and he moved his hands. "Odd, why do I get the feeling I fought these things before?" He thought before more Warriors came at different people.

"FINAL WAVE~!" A excited voice called out loud as GokaiRed's Gokaisabe hummed in red aura as he charged at a few Tengu Warriors coming for him, he sliced one across the chest then to another vertically before kicking one away to gain some more room then he turned around. slicing one from behind and he was left with his last one. "Gokai Slash!" He called otu and swung his sword, a red arc fo energy connecting with teh tengu Warrior, causing it explode in falmes.

"SUMMON KAME RIDE: BLADE!" The Decadriver sounded before beside Decade, a different warrior materialized beside him as Blade charged forward, wielding his sword ina reverse grip, attacking some of the TengU Warriors as Decade pulled out a gold edged card and slid it in and hit the belt at it's sides.

"FINAL FORM RIDE: B-B-BLADE!" it said before Blade gave out a gasp and transformed into a huge sword which soared over to Decade as he grabbed it and sliced sideways getting more Tengu Warriors before bringing out another gold card and slid it in.

"FINAL ATTACK RIDE: B-B-BLADE!" The Decadriver sounded as the sword glowed in a blue eletrical energy and Decade swung it down, getting quite a few warriors in the process before he thrown the Blade Blade intot he air and it became particles.

Tidus meanwhile leapt up as high as he could to get ahold of Yuna but the Tengu Warriors weren't going to let him get to her that easily but Zidane came up to join hi and with his tail wrapped aroudn Tidus's, Tidus rotated his body and flung Zidane at teh warriors, slicing at them as Yuna and Serah were looking like they were goning to fall to their untimely death had it not been for Ichigo who caught them both by the waist and landed on the ground safely.

 

-Recuse Group-

"So glad you and your group could join us, Captain!" GokaiYellow said, rapidly shooting at a Tengu Warrior headed her way. GokaiPink slashed through the one that was facing her, Aqua and Michal were facing a few together, Aqua using her magic to help Michal. Standing back to back with Ankh, Harry said, "Sure it's alright for you to be fighting one of your kind?" "I would never consider these freak one of my kind." Ankh said, before the two faced each other's opponents. Ron slashed at one that facing him.

Rydia cast a Firaga spell that combined with Edge's Flame Ninjutsu on one that was coming after her, Garnet continued to heal the wounded while Tommy, using the power of the Ninjetti, protected her from behind. Yuna and Serah thanked Ichigo, Yuna changed into Black Mage and Serah was in her Ravager role, the two combined their magic to fight against the Tengu Warriors.Tina cast Tornado, tossing a few of the Tengu Warrios around the room. Draco, Ginny, and Latias stayed with Hermione in a safe hiding spot.

The fight between Fang and Pumyra was heating up, Pumyra was making sure that Fang didn't get near her. Switching to her Commando role, Fang ran to her and slashed at her, Pumyra jumped back, her dress slightly cut. Grabbing a sharp seed, Pumyra shot it at Fang, but Fang came at her again. The two were equal matched for sure.

-Akiza-

"Yusei, thank goodness you're here. I've been here since the invasion on Earth." Akiza smiled, hugging her friend. She then noticed Yugi and waved at him. "Who's your friend? It's nice to meet you. I'm Akiza Izinski, but sometime my friends call me Aki." 'If only I knew where Tommy was, then I could actually introduce him to Yusei.' Akiza thought to herself.

 

Rescue Group

Jafar - having NOT been defeated because said counterattack was merely an illusion - laughed and teleported off. Then the was an explosion, and Squall, Roxas and Vanitas all came flying out of the ground. Vanitas landed on Fang. "Is this a bad time?" Out of the smoke came the one responsible...

Squall charged at Richard, only to be sent flying back. "OOooh! More hero's! The more the merrier!" "This guy's tough." Vanitas got off of Fang and turned to face Pumyra. "Need any help, Fang?" He summoned Void Gear.

Mordred's group

They arrived close to the Caslte... now all they needed to do was find a way inside. "Hmm... Mordin, any suggestions?" Mordin shook his head. "Would take while to find entrance. Long climb. Suggest we rest and think of plan." Mordred also shook his head slightly. "The Commander's counting on us... Ashe? Could you use Hawkshot to find an entrance?" He asked. Even now, she was still beautiful...
Mordin also thought it was a good idea. "Good idea. Hawkshot reveal hidden things. Should use fast as possible."

Battleship Halberd.

Guess who? Joker and Genesis had arrived on the Battleship. "Your sure he's here?" Asked Genesis. "Hmm? Oh, yes! He has to be here. See? Batarangs." He pointed to some batarangs on the floor. Genesis nodded. "Well, we better get moving then." Genesis felt as if they were being watched... then he saw a man in an iron suit above them. "Who the..." "That would be Tony Stark. And THAT!" Joker said, pointing to Lust. "... I have no idea who that is, but I'd like to." Genesis stuck his hand out to stop Joker from proceeding. "We should wait and observe, see what happens." They also saw Loki and some guy with an eyepatch against Thor. "... I bet ya five bucks that Thor get's some he-- Genesis?" Genesis was already at Thor's side. "Need any help, Thunder God?"

Blanc and Noire - new arrivals.

A shadow was moving beneath Noire, but it wasn't hers. It belonged to someone else, so it would seem.
Whatever it was or whoever it belonged to, it was following them to the castle.

"Then it seems that we will be companions for some time, then." He went on to explain. "I intend to find the Holy Grail, so I can use it's power for this." He summoned the X-Blade. The power eminating from it could be felt... but it also felt incomplete. "It shouldn't remain like this. The Holy Grail is my key for it to attain it's full power." He paused, and then sat down at a conveniently placed table. "But we cannot act until the group of Villains has been dealt with. Then we can find the other masters more easily. Take a seat Alter." He un-summoned the X-Blade and pulled out a map and other plan-plotting devices. "You know..." he began. "... You could stay with me after we find the Holy Grail."

 

Not exactly caring for the new arrivals, Pumyra loaded her crossbow and shot at Vanitas. Fang got in the way and was hit by the sharp seed Pumyra shot. "It seems the lovers will go down together." She said, no emotion in her voice. Fang groaned and stood up, gripping her spear and glaring at the Puma warrior. Meanwhile, some of the Tengu Warriors began to attack Squall and Roxas. Those hiding watched in concern, expect for Hermione who was still unconscious.

 

~~Deepholm~~

Saber Alter looked with slight interest at the weapon, before scowling slightly.
"You seek power in order to wish for more power." she said simply, disapprovingly.
"Power is only worthwhile if you can command it. It is for that same reason that Masters gain their Command Spells."
She looked at him after he made his offer, a look of confusion.
"Do you mean that I should take the curse of life from the Grail itself?" she asked, with a long pause.
"...for one such as me, that may be appropriate."

~~The Dream World~~

As if in response, the being showed Vanille another brief vision - this time of Dysley's fate. It showed Dysley keeling over, before being absorbed by a dark shadow.
The source of that shadow was obvious - the being right there before her. It had, essentially, eaten him alive, and there was still some part of him inside the being even now, as it stood within their dream.
But it was waiting for something. And considering where it was waiting, it was likely exactly the same thing the villains wanted.
Kingdom Hearts.

Under the circumstances, it looked like Char himself would have to retreat already. The Gundam was still lashing out at him in destroy mode, there were no less than two combination Gunmen, and most of the Beastmen that had been brought with them were already destroyed.
"Looks like you've won - this time." he said, before throwing the detached arm straight at the Gundam, giving him the opportunity to get away.
"What the hell? Get back here you coward!" Kamina yelled, in vain, as the human general had gotten away.
"Bro, look out!" Simon suddenly called out, spinning Gurren Lagann around himself, just in time to see another new force join the fray.

"The castle is right in front of us now!"
"Alright, full power to weapons. Let's blow that thing out of the sky, and then go for the castle itself!"
"Awright, I've been waitin' for this!"

"The one we captured is secured in the holding cells." Deville said as he entered the main room of the Esquad Huckebein, where their leader, Curren, and the others were."
"He seems to want the same thing as us." Thoma added, looking over to Lily, who nodded in agreement.
"I don't think we need to hold him, he'll probably help us out if we ask."
"An' if he don't, we could just have 'im infected with Eclipse and make 'im join us." Arn suggested, getting disapproving looks from the others.
"I'm jus' sayin' we could!"

At this point, Cytomander had completely lost it, disgusted at all the humans around.

"More humans? More of them?!" he squawked angrilly. "I WANT THEM GONE! EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM! BLOW THEM OUT OF THE SKY, OR BLOW THE SKY OUT OF ITSELF IF YOU HAVE TO!"
"General, it might be best if we retreated for now!" a random nameless beastman suggested.
"RETREAT?! FROM MERE HUMANS?! AN OUTRAGE! AN! OUT! RAGE!"
Regardless of his words, the Dai-Gunten turned around, small chunks of it falling off as it went, before warping out of the area, and back to safety -- leaving Viral and many of the others to simply fend for themselves.

~~Malificent's Castle Interior~~

Though Hayate was unable to land due to non-functional legs, she hovered slightly above the ground, which had the desired effect of keeping her movements completely silent anyway. Reinforce did the same, though as she was it would have been fairly easy to simply make her legs unable to make sound at all, being a sentient program.
They're in the next room. she told Reinforce through a mental link. It looks like they've almost summoned Kingdom Hearts.
I would suggest we move quickly then. Reinforce mind-spoke back, peering around the corner. If we aren't careful--
"-you might get caught, no?" a third voice suddenly said from behind them, shadows grabbing their forms.
"I got a feeling there was other intruders in this place, but it seems to me that a lil' girl and a woman such as you don't got much reason being here, do you?"

"How did you-?!"
"Overhear your mental chit-chat? If you were eavesdroppin' properly, you'd know that I have friends. Come on now, you can go in the cells with the other gi--"
He quickly stopped, as he suddenly realised something.
"Now hold on one minute..."
He looked at Hayate... then at Reinforce... then back to Hayate.
"Well, well, it looks like fate is on our side today! For it has delivered to us, exactly what we were looking for!"
There was some brief mumbling about what he could be talking about before he explained.
"Why my friends, surely you must know, that in the hands of us now... are all eight Princesses!"

~Maleficent's Castle: Throne Room~​

​

As Facilier drug the two girls into the middle of the room with his shadows, Maleficent descended from her throne. "The 8th princess you say?" First she grabbed Hayate, attempting to gaze into her enormous eyes. Scar's face was beside Maleficent's as they both stared into the girls eyes, seeing as it was necessary for each villain to gaze into an eye. "Geez, what on earth happens when you need eye drops? Do you use a measuring cup?"
Ursula inspected Reinforce, feeling the girl up with her tentacles. "Ursula, that's really creepy lookin and can't feel good for the poor girl."
"You mean the poor princess. Poor poor, princess of darkness."
Maleficent walked over to the other girl as the other villains looked on, "So you're the princess of darkness? Yet you've still got a pure heart. No wonder I wasn't able to track you down like the others." She smiled at the girl and stroked her hair, "You're very special, do you know that? Because of you I'll be able to unlock Kingdom Hearts, I'll be filled with the power of true darkness. Then the world will be bathed in darkness. What a marvelous purpose you're blessed with." She grinned like the mistress all of evil would.

Far below the castle, deep within the Forbidden Mountains, Pride was witnessing the entirety of the events taking place above. Through the network of caverns and tunnels throughout the mountains, he was able to see everything that occurred within the castle and caves. He'd been reporting to GLaDOS the pace of the events occurring, now it was becoming apparent that it would soon be time for Father to interfere. Inside the throne room Pride's invisible presence watched as Maleficent explained Reinforce's purpose in her scheme, he spoke to the AI inside the Halberd, "GLaDOS, pass the message onto Father that Maleficent is in possession of the 8th princess sooner than expected. If he doesn't show up soon enough I'll stall. One way or another he'll get Kingdom Hearts."
Only Dr. Facilier might notice the shadows growing in the throne room, the castle becoming slightly darker as Maleficent taunted her key to the door.

Ashe looked at both Mordred and Mordin. You know, my Hawkshot only gives sight and it is visable to others so if we are trying to do this stealthy, I have an Oracle's Exlar that I can drink to find the door with out the enemy seeing us. I use it to find stealthed units in the League but I think now would be a better time. She said as she pulled out a pink potion and drank it. A small pink eye symbol appeared above her head. She saw the door off in the distance and began running. You guys gonna keep up or should I pop Ghost and get there faster? She had a huge smile on her face. This was the most fun she had in a while.

​

Marty nodded. "The Castle right. Let's get going then. Hold on to your seat." He said with a smile as he changed the car into hovercar mode and zoomed toward the castle.

​

Nocturne watched as the battle raged on. He "smiled" then made his way towards the castle. They will sense fear. He said as he sunk into the shadows in the ground.

​

Charade stood in the reminants of the battle and watched everyone head toward the castle or the ship. It's eye pulsated as it could feel the power of Soul Edge. It changed the Soul Edge weapon into a copy of Shepard's gun and started to walk.

​

Diablomon continued to look for his master. The one who summoned me here has to be close. He said as he walked through an empty plain. I must find my master. It is the only key to unlocking a door from here to the Digital World.

 

In the Castle, Sora and Beast had met some allies; Fighter and White Mage. Around the corner, Sora saw Ursula starring in Tentacle Rape. Disgusted, he turned to the others. "Maybe we should come back later. Ursula's a bit busy."

Fighter looked at him with a "Are-you-serious?-what-is-this-I-don't-even" face. "No, you told us to come. There was commotion, so we snuck in."

"Well even if we hadn't, we left Beast outside."

"That was your idea."

"Have you seen him? No way we could have brought him with us."

"Enough." WM said. "Fighter, Sora's right. Perhaps we do need to find a larger group."

"Fine..." Fighter said. "But I want to get BM back."

"We all want something. You and I want BM back, Sora and Beast want Kairi and Belle. So let's go."

Outside, Rayquaza was helping Pumyra. He had been using Dragon Rage like there was no tomorrow to clear out any intruders from the outside. The two that had tried to enter, had vanished.

 

The demonic allies did so as Janus was hit with one of them, getting knocked back a few steps. He panted, and then ran back the way he came. Lord Blazer and Zeikfried watched as he ran, and Zeikfried spoke up. "It looks like this area might be a war zone soon...."

~Maleficent's Castle; Outside the Throne Room~​

Kilik listened in on what was going on.
"So they've found the eighth princess...Then there's no time to lose."
Kilik charged into the Throne Room, summoning his Kali-Yuga staff as he did so.
"Halt, denizens of darkness! You will release the eight maidens you have captured, or face the wrath of Edge Master Kilik!"
Underneath Kilik's mask, a look of calm determination was on his face. He understood what was at stake here. Failure was not an option.

~Savannah~​

Genome watched as Cytomander and Char bailed out. Needless to say, he was not happy about this.
Then Kamina called out, telling them to come back.
"Don't worry, Kamina. You'll get your chance. For now, let's just focus on this guy."
" 'This Guy' has a name, you filth!"

"It's Commander Viral! And I will make sure that neither of you ever forget it!"
Viral took his head-sword and tossed it as Fenneczen, who blocked it with his own two blades.
He knocked Viral's blade away.
"It's gonna take more than-"
Without warning, Enkidu punched Fenneczen across the face, knocking it backwards.
While Genome was recovering from his part of the Gunman taking the hit, C. Tails took over and stood Fenneczen back up.
"Nice recovery, Tails. Now let's finish him!"
"You got it!"
Enkidu had recovered it's blade, when Viral noticed Fenneczen coming right him.
"Oh no you don't!"
Viral swung Enkidu's sword at Fenneczen, lodging it into it's side.
"Tails, you alright!?"
"Yeah, it missed us...But the blade's in our way! We can't see!"
"Don't worry then, I'll take it from here. If we can just keep the blade from him, he'll be powerless!"
"Our systems will fail if we just keep it in here!"
"How much time we got?"
"Five minutes at the most!"
"More than enough time. Kamina, Simon! Charge him now, I'll keep his blade from him!"
"Like hell you will!"
Enkidu charged at Fenneczen, attempting to get it's blade back.
It was up to Gurren Laggan to take Viral out before he got it back.

He walks towards Pumyra, seemingly ignoring everything else. Suddenly, he simultaneously dashes and slashes at Pumyra, the strikes coming in so powerful they could probably split a rock. "Suffer!" He finishes the attack with an upwards sumersault slash that also sends a crescent blade of energy that homes in on Pumyra.

Squall takes on the Tengu warrior's whilst Roxas faces off against Richard.
Squall shoots several of the Tengu warrior's before casting several fira spells at them and then coming in for a melee battle.

Roxas, on the other hand, teleported twice around Richard, throwing his keyblades at him each time. After that, he performed a flurry of slashes before sending out a sphere of energy surrounding himself, drawing Richard closer.
Next, he summoned pillars of light topped with Nobody emblems, casting eight of them ahead of himself at Richard. He then dashed forwards and sent a pillar of light back to where he stood. Striking Richard and also taking out several Tengu warrior's. Richard was apparently unphased by all of this, because he grabbed Roxas as he dashed forwards, and bashed him against a rock, then against a Tengu warrior...
... and then flung him into a pile of horse poo.

-Other side of the mountain-


Mordred and Mordin looked at each other, shrugged, and followed after her. Mordred somehow managed to catch up with Ashe... and also somehow managed to trip and fall ontop of her, causing them both to fall to the floor with Mordred ontop of Ashe. Mordin ran past them comically. "Ouch... that must've hurt..." it was then that he noticed the light caught her face perfectly, and that he was blushing. "Erm..." he rubbed the back of his neck with one hand.

​

Hope smiled at her understanding of things. "Yes. See, I can command such power, and I seek to prove that. I might make a wish myself before taking the Grail's power... after, of course, you made yours." He leaned forward on the table. "That would be most appropiate for you, it would seem." Leaning forward was a bad idea... because this time he couldn't stop himself from going into a shirou-overcome-by-beauty-from-saber moment. After staring for a bit too long, he recomposed himself and leaned back. "Erm... where were we? Ah, yes, strategy, tactics and battle plan. I need to know what you can do." He then tried to think of a way he could find out what she could do, and the extent of her power.

Jafar appeared back at the base just in time to be introduced to the eigth Princess of Hearts. "Wait, there's eight? I was off fighting some hero's... did I miss something?" Darion and Don Corleone, who had been here to find out everything, explained it all to him. He then went up to Facilier and gave him a pat on the back. "Bravo, Facilier, bravo." It was then that Kilik appeared. "Erm... who exactly are you supposed to be?" Darion drew his swords. "A worthy opponent." He took a battle-stance, ready to fight.

 

~Nox Decious: Burning Forest~

"I can't rule the world if it is in extreme chaos, for now let's just retreat from the battle and wait our time. Knowing what's going on both Heroes and Villians will be at one another's throats, and once it's all over we will swoop in and attack while all parties are still reeling" Decious explained as he proceded to make a hasty retreat from the forest.

~Vert: DeLorean~

Vert just simply smiled before she spotted Blanc and Noire in midflight and quietly waved at them with a simple thought on her mind, that thought was about the kiss from earlier but more importantly it was about how her sisters would react

~Blanc and Noire: Outside the Entrance to the Castle~

The two landed right outsidde the doors leading within the dark abode. "Well, either we go in now..or chicken out like a couple of *****es. You may take your pick" Blanc replied looking up as her reddish-pink eyes met with the entrance.

~Neptune, Compa, and IF: Far behind inside the Castle~

"Well how about that, we stopped for abit to have a snack and now we're all just brimming with energy" Neptune chirped in glee as somehow during the time of the battle she had reverted back to normal and stopped for a snack causing the three to fall behind. "Yeah well now we're falling behind, thanks Nep" IF responded sarcasticly before the three went onward inside.

~Merlin: Unknown Location~

Last time we saw Merlin he had retreated from a battle with Nox Decious when their battle had been interupted.

Merlin stepped out from within a dense green rainforest and onto what appeared to be achient ruins that had been sealed up for a long time. The main structure seemed to be rather intact although moss had started to grow on it, it also seemed to resemble a chruch of sorts as gold decorated the white stone. The floor seemed to have four round pressure pads that seemingly lead up to the door where a darkened crystalized heart sat keeping the entrance shut

Merlin's right eye raised up in curiosity as he walked over to a large white mural and quietly looked at it. It seemed that the first part of it looked like the outside of the place he was at right now but where the pressure pads were sat four round crystals in order of Black, Purple, White, and Green but something seemed rather off as a small broken shard of Yellow had been forcibly removed.

The second part of the mural depicted those same four Crystals facing off against another Yellow Crystal but this time there seemed to be a sentance above it that had read "Five Hearts, One Puppet"

the final part of the mural showed the Heart on the door with the crystals arranged in a specific pattern with the final sentace reading "The Key to the Tome lies withing the Hearts"

~Maleficent's Throne Room: Kilik vs Darion​

Taking his battle stance, Kilik kept calm.
"It is unwise to challenge an Edge Master. You will not win this."
Kilik made the first move, charging at Darion before striking at him with a vertical strike with his staff.

~Viridian City Gym: Trainer Red vs Trainer Blue~​

BGM: Pokemon Red/Blue Gym Leader/Elite Four Battle Remix​

Eevee took the full force of the attack, knocking it out completely.
"Eevee! That's it, now you've done it! Eevee, return."
Blue recalled his Pokémon before taking out his next one.
"Go! Rhydon!"
Blue tossed his Pokéball releasing Rhydon into battle.
"Ryhdon, attack using Earthquake!"
Rhydon obeyed, stomping on the ground several times, creating an earthquake inside the gym.

~Approaching Melvin's Lair~​

Dr. Nefarious was still flying through the air after being kicked across the landscape by Clank several pages back.
"Come on...Can I please hurry up and hit something soon!?"
As he flew, he noticed a run-down building below him.
"Now that would've been the perfect place to-"
Out of nowhere, he was hit by a random piece of space debris, sending him flying straight down towards the building.
"THANK YOOOOOUUUUuuuuuuuuu...."
After a few moments of falling, Dr. Nefarious crashed through the roof of the building, landing in a room filled with what looked like a gang of B list villains.
He got up, taking note of the organic life forms around him.
"...Hello, squishies..."

VS. ​

~Battle of the Copies~​

The four fighters had been going at it for some time, with no sign of letting up.
"Are you two ready to give up yet!?"
"There's no point in keeping this up, you two. We're the originals for a reason!"
Dark Link huffed.
"Looks like we'll have to resort to Plan B."
Dark Pit sighed.
"Guess so. Hop on."
Dark Link got on Dark Link's shoulders.
"What're you gonna do? Give him a piggyback ride until we give up?"
"You wish."
Dark Pit took to the skies with Dark Link on his back. They both took out their Bows, aiming at their originals.
"Pfft, like an arrow's gonna do much. C'mon, Pit, let's take them down."
As Link and Pit began to charge toward their dark copies, D. Link and D. Pit's arrows began to glow.
This was followed by a dark energy "string" connecting their arrows. Next, the arrows combined, forming one large super-arrow.
Link and Pit stopped.
"What the-"
They both let the arrow go, sending it straight for Pit and Link.
The originals attempted to escape, but were too slow. They were hit by the arrow, and were caught in the dark explosion that resulted from the impact.
The explosion faded, revealing the unconscious bodies of Link and Pit laying on the ground.
Dark Link and Dark Pit looked down at their originals.
"It's a shame. I was looking forward to beating on them a little more."
"Oh, well. Not much we can do now. Come on, Dark Pit. We've got work to do."
"Like what?"
"I dunno, I thought we had somewhere to be after this."
"Well, I don't know about you, but I gotta report back to Viridi about the completed mission. I'll meet back up with you later."
"Alright then. I'll be waiting."
Dark Link then faded away.
Dark Pit went back to Viridi to report his success.

~Savannah~​

As the Gunmen lowered in numbers, Siegfried took notice of a familiar figure in the distance.
"Wait a second...That's...!"
It was Charade, a living fragment of the Soul Edge.
Without another word, Siegfried charged toward Charade. He looked back to Hilde as he ran.
"Keep fighting the remainder of the metal beasts! I will return soon!"
He caught up with Charade.
"I thought I had rid myself of you years ago, Charade. Why are you here!?"
Siegfried readied himself for the inevitable battle.
