~Crossover Cove~

White Mage expected Fighter's first answer but was surprised that he found a guide and sighed. "In a way, I guess. Not surprising that he's with the villains as he is kind of one himself." Pulling her trusty hammer out from somewhere within her white robes, White Mage looked around to find Maleficent's Castle so she could find BM and beat him within a inch of his life again.

"You want to know who I am?"

Doppelganger was speaking in its distorted impression of Vanitas. Its crack-like smile sealed up.

"I am that which resides in the shadows."

The refracted light around Doppelganger faded away revealing its shape and voice being Xion's.

"It is I who makes you fear the dark and what lurks in it."

It changed itself to Roxas.

"When you think you're alone and you see a shadow move from the corner of your eye? That's me."

Then the demon's appearance rapidly shuffled through every member of the Organization and Dante, since these are the only people it memorized, and simultaneously spoke in all of their voices.

"I am you. I am everyone, yet I am no one. I hold all of your answers, but I will never give them. What you call 'Hell', I call 'Home'."

A blackness slowly spread out all across the ground from Doppelganger, as if meaning to swallow them all into the dark.

"Unsatisfied?"

Doppelganger finally settled on mimicking Xemnas. Black electricity enveloped its hands.

"Then come and get me."

"I've lost interest in Kingdom Hearts these past three months. Why would I even want to study something that can only be done so in theory? Besides, Kingdom Hearts' appearance would only slow down progress with the Doppelganger Project." Vexen summoned his shield and prepared for an attack. "Axel, we were just speaking about them. Catch up, would you? And welcome back, Xaldin. Who are you working for again?"

 

~Fang~

Gripping her spear as tight as she could, Fang ran to Doppelganger and slashed, guessing it would block with the weapon of whoever it was posing as or dodge. Silently talking to Vanille, Fang asked, 'Sorry, Vanille, but could you wait a little longer? There's something I got to do first.' Imagining Vanille's smiling face, Fang gripped her spear and stared Doppelganger.

~Vanille~

While Vanille was in supsended animation in her cage at Maleficent's Castle, she was dreaming. But Vanille wondered why she was dreaming, and noticed her faded l'Cie brand. She would have noticed if she had gone in crystal stasis and sure that wasn't the case. But Fang wasn't anywhere, Vanille hoped that whatever happened to her, Fang would come quickly and save her.

 

"Yeah..." Fighter saw her pull out her hammer. "Ooh, are you gonna do that thing? I love it when you do that thing!" he said simply.

Sora was confused. "Uhhh... okay then..."

Xaldin looked at Vexen. I've found out that Ganondorf and his villians offer a much better point than anyone else. Now give me back the Princesses."

Sora and Beast jumped and started to attack.

Meanwhile, the Hero of Time continued fighting his Shadow, but on the Ground after their rough Landing.


"Bring it on Dark Link. I'm ready for you! I don't care about the Princesses. I just wanna find Zelda, get my friends and GTFOH." He said. "And no one is going to get in my way!" He Drew the Master Sword. "You may be my shadow. You may know my weaknesses. You may know what I think. But that'll only get you so far. You know why? Well let me tell you. Today is the day you become nothing more than another shadow of my past. Long have I had the guilt of not completely killing you in the Water Temple. Because of my mercy, you killed many people. Because of how weak and goddamn stupid I was, I was forced to watch you murder my friends. And now, I'm going to enjoy watching that devilish glow in your eyes fade away as the sword in my hand rips through the spot where your soul is. The nightmare ends today Dark Link!"

~Maleficent's Castle~

BM suddenly got a shiver down his spine like someone was going to beat him within an inch of his life and that a sword loving manaic was along with it. "I swear, if Fighter is in this godamned world and finds me, I'll literally kill the fuggin' idiot!" BM vowed to his thoughts, but if White Mage were here, he'd probably try to flirt with her but then realize it's alove logn lost, he'd rather keep his organs and such intact.

~Gokaiger/PowerRangers/Kamen Riders~

The group headed for Fang's own group.

~Tidus/jecht/Yuna etc~

Tidus felt he hand grasped by Yuna and listened to Roxas and the group's conversation, something about 'Kingdom Hearts' and such, he had a funny feeling those words should ring a beel with him but he shrugged it off.

 

~~Wherever the hell Team Dai-Gurren ended up~~

Kamina stared blankly, not having a clue at all about what had happened.
"Well, I guess we should get-" he began, before being cut off by Genome getting some kind of transmission. His head tilted in confusion at the name Yoko mentioned.
"Who's that guy again?" he said, refering to Viral.
"Hm..." Leeron said, approaching the Gunman and tinkering with some things a little.
"I should be able to adjust this to... there!"
Instantly, an image appeared on the spiral gauge, a sort of crosshatched map, the source of the signal appearing as a white dot upon it.
"And there's the source."

~Magical Space Forest~

The duo (actually a trio, due to Wynarl's presence within Nagisa) continued along their path, reaching a forest that seemed to have some odd properties. For one, there didn't appear to be any animals in it, which would have been strange enough, had there not also been the ambiguously defeated bodies scattered around. Nagisa couldn't help but think that they had been attacked using photon weaponry. This likely meant that whoever had fought them was from the same universe as she was. It put her in an instictualy cautious mindset, as she drew Steel Hearts, her sword, and prepared it in case of anyone waiting for them.
She looked briefly at Pleinair, who was her usual quiet self, before begining to stalk forward.

~Near the Nether Portal~

Jecht raised a hand in greeting to Yuna when she noticed him, not forgeting that she was Braska's daughter.
"Kidnapped, huh?" he mused, thinking it over for less than a second or two. "Well we'd better get to finding out something, or we'll never find 'em. What kinda girl we talking; big, small, capable of looking after her self or not? The more we know, the better we can judge our chances of finding 'er."

"Ah, there you are, little Usagi-chan." Mephisto said as his student greeted him, lowering his chair back down to the ground, avoiding landing on anybody still in the pile.
Of course, moments later he was interupted by a ninja-looking guy approaching and attempting to chat her up. Being the kind of half-demon as he was, he was very unimpressed with this, as he did so dislike not being the centre of attention. He flicked his wrist, and a punching glove suddenly launched itself from the chair, colliding with Edge's face while he wasn't paying attention, knocking him over at the very least.
"Now, as I was about to ask; have you learned of anything while here so far, Usagi-chan?" he asked his student now that her distraction was temporarily dealt with.

Shinji crawled out of the pile, looking around, before noticing that somebody had asked for food.
"Um, I might be able to put something together." he said, slightly nervously. He was fine behind the controls of an Eva, but outside of it he still felt a little nervous about... many, many things.
"My cooking isn't terrible, so... Oh, I'll need a fire to cook on though. Uh... could anybody help me out with that?"

~~Agrabah - With Nixio~~

"So what the hell do we do now?" Vita suddenly asked Nixio, having been absent for a couple of pages. "There's nobody here."

Walking towards the gathering 'Ex-Organisation' members was a very familiar figure, his pink hair fluttering in the desert breeze as he came near.
"Hiii~!" he greeted them, with a slightly wave.
"Ooh, look at this; everyone all gathered up again. It's like a reunion! Are we starting up the Organisation all over again? Oh that'd be so successful. Because, y'know, our ration of successes to fails is just great so far."

~~Wesker's Lab~~

Legion, upon hearing Wesker's orders, sent him a brief communication back.
"Acknowledged." he told him simply, before stepping out after the duo.
"Immediate surrender may prolong your continued existence. Doing so is advised. Your response?"

Carving through the black clouds in a way that no other ship would be able to do at all ever was the Esquad Huckebein, the ship belonging to the family that had not long ago been ravaging Velos City. 'Piloted' by the small child, Stella Irvine Huckebein, the ship passed through the unnatural weather with relative ease, minor turbulence being their only issue.
"Our current heading?" the leader spoke, Curren Huckebein, a woman whose gentle appearance would never make you think that she was the founding member of a murderous group of Eclipse survivors.
"We're still headed straight towards the Forbidden Mountains, as instructed." Stella confirmed from her seat, without even looking up from the book she was reading.
"The hell are you even reading?" Cypha, the dark-skinned seductress of the family, asked.
"It's called '50 Shades of Grey'." the girl answered, not batting an eyelash. "It's a good book."
"Isn't that... y'know, an 'adult' book?" Veyron chipped in, questioning the girl.
"It's a very good book."
"Ey, careful Cypha." Arnage said with a giggle. "She'll be after yer boys before ya know it."
Cypha growled slightly, before turning away and leaving the room.
"Sheesh, ya'd think she'd learn ta take a joke." Arn said, looking over to the boy sat beside her.
"Ya think ya should go talk to her?"
The boy sighed a little, before standing up and looking towards the door.
"Yeah, alright." he said, with a nod. "I'll talk to her for you, Arn."
"Yer a good lad, Thoma." Arn said with a grin, before turning back to Stella.
"So uh... ya got anythin' else, Stel?"
"Under the bed. Piles of them."

-Power Ranger/Gokaigers/Kamen Riders~

Following the others, Michal gasped as he watched Fang and Vanitas fight against Doppelganger, he shouted, "Fang-san! Vanitas-san!" "Michal, wait! This is their fight, not ours. We can't interfere." Tommy said, stopping the water-based Kamen Rider. Luka and Ahim watched the fight, Fang groaned and wondered how to fight something that change its form into someone she knew?

~Yuna/Tidus/Jecht & Organization~

Yuna thought about what kind of girl Vanille was, she tried to explain, "Well, there were two girls kidnapped, but we don't know most about her. The other girl, however, she's cheerful, carefree, caring, funny. She has a friend who looks out for her, no matter what, and she is capable of protecting herself. She's kinda small, but she's very pretty." Yuna couldn't forget the look of shock on Fang's face when Vanille was captured.

~Edge~

Edge was knocked out by Mesphito's glove, Rydia appeared and sighed, using a Hi-Potion to heal him. "Honestly, Edge, will you ever learn?" she asked to the knocked ninja. Edge smiled, enjoying being healed by his secret crush.

~Vanille~

Vanille was felt lonely in her dream and shouted, "Fang?! Snow?! Serah?!!!!! Anyone here?!!!!" She sat down and sighed, hiding her face and sighed.

 

~Outside the Neitherportal~

"Oh, I can probably help with that!" Neptune replied as she looked around the area before noticing a small pile of twigs, leaves, and some logs a few feet away. She pulled out her gun again as she said calmly "Ready.....Steady.." while aiming at the pile. "FIRE!" she yelled loudly as she pulled the trigger causing another fire bullet to be shot directly into the pile setting it ablaze. She looked at Shinji and said to him "I hope that small pile will do"

Teridax once again felt as if his inspirational words had fallen on deaf ears...that was until Blanc yelled "YOU SUCK AT SPEECHES!" and immediatly threw her hammer causing Teridax to be hit in the head and fall over backwards. "Wow, That didn't seem very nice at all" Noire commented while looking at Blanc with a stern look. Blanc came over and picked her hammer up from atop Teridax as she said quietly "What? He was annoying"

Strangely enough Merlin had seemed to ran off from the crowded scene for it was obvious something was amiss.

Fang's attack hit its mark but it went through Doppelganger like the demon was water, which wasn't too far off. Vexen did upgrade its body to liquid darkness so that it wasn't as fragile as when he found it. Clearly unfazed by her attack, Doppelganger "unsheathed" a dark blue ethereal blade in each hand and countered Fang in the middle of her slash with Xemnas' main combo, gracefully twirling around while battering her with the blades (which were more like extremely high voltage energy batons or lightsabers), but ended it short with a swift kick to the face. Afterwards, Doppelganger jumped high into the air and landed back where it started to taunt them further. The demon, now impersonating Dante, bent down and clapped at them like they were puppies before gesturing towards them to bring it.

"Hey, what's up!?"

Vexen looked at Alf, confused. "I'm sorry, but did I die before you were inducted into the Organization? Or were you one of my many failed Marluxia replicas that happened to dodge the mass-disposal?"

 

~Near the Nether Portal~​

Hilde sighed at what was going on around her. Falling backwards she rested on the ground, her hands behind her head as she stared up into the dark sky above them. Some how she was even more confused about was going on then when she was in the desert.

~Vanille's Dream~​

"Don't bother yelling, they won't hear you here." a voice suddenly spoke from no where. "You poor unfortunate soul. No one here to help you, to protect you."

Fang wiped her face with her arms and glared at Doppelganger, she was going to wait to summon Bahamut to face Doppelganger. "So, do you want to dance, then? Then lets dance, creep." Tommy, Michal, Luka, and Ahim watched with curiousity, concern, interested, and worry. Fang ran to Doppelganger and slashed at him with her spear, touching her brand, Fang sighed and stared at her opponent.

~Vanille~

Vanille looked around for the source, "Who's there?! Where are you?"

 

"Ah! Good question! But not the right one." the voice said. Lowering itself on a web from above a golden spider, nearly as big as Vanille's head, appeared in front of her. It pointed one of its legs at her. "The real questions are "Where are you?""

 

Putting her fingers together in her wish gesture, Vanille answered, "I wish I knew. The last thing I remember, I was at this coliseum and some villains said that they wanted this Princess of Heart. I got scared and ran, because I was told I am this Princess of Heart and figured they were after me, but I met with a catgirl who knocked me out. When I woke up, I was here. I don't see anything familiar or the people who captured me, so I guessed I am dreaming."

 

"Hey there!" Vash caught up with Merlin. "Where are you going?"


-The Desert-



"So my brother is here.....am I correct?"
Legato bowed before the figure in respect.
"Yes, master....Vash the Stampede was seen at the arena along with Nicholas D. Wolfwood. More figures such as a blue-haired demon carrying a powerful blade and a man who called himself 'Darkness' have been sighted."
"Legato...."


Knives turned towards Legato. "Your orders are to find these two figures. They might prove useful to me. If you run into my brother, make sure he suffers dearly...."
"Understood, my master......"

 

Doppelganger brandished its version of Rebellion and striked back by connecting three vertical strikes to a Stinger, ramming into Fang blade first to launch her across the field. The demon would continue further, since Dante's attacks string together very well, but for now it was just playing with them. Going back to Xemnas, Doppelganger outstretched both arms continued to taunt them, sounding very bored about it.

"Please, try harder."

 

"Well, you are correct on the dreaming." the Golden Spider said. "And if you wish to know, your body is currently in the Forbidden Moutains."

The Golden Spider began to be reeled upward by it's web as it spoke once more, "But I won't bother explaining, because I doubt you will understand."

Once the spider had disappear out Vanille's view she felt something moving on her back and on to her shoulder. The Golden Spider was there once more.

"So for now, why don't you focus on this dream. Hmm?" he said.

 

-Fang-

Regaining her fighting position, Fang groaned and shouted, "Wanna play tough, then? Then let me give you your playmate!!!!" She grabbed the crystal that came from her shoulder and tossed it into the sky. The mighty king of dragons, Bahamut, appeared and roared loudly, Fang sent it to attack Doppelganger roughly for awhile changing into its Gestalt mode. Tommy almost thought of the Zoids when he watched Bahamut, Michal was amazed by Fang and her summoning of Bahamut.

-Vanille-

"But I don't know what to dream about." Vanille said, looking at the Golden Spider on her shoulder. "I have no idea at all about what to dream."

 

"What's the matter?" the spider asked. "You can't even think of one thing? Not even those who you tried in vain to call in your sleep just moments ago?"

Crawling off her shoulder and on to her back, the spider made its way on to her other shoulder.

"Or perhaps you are afraid that they won't come to you even in your dreams?" he said tauntingly.

 

Looking at the spider, Vanille thought of Fang, Serah, and Snow. Then they appeared, smiling at her, keeping her up and walking around the world of her dream. Vanille smiled and looked at her shoulder, wondering if the Golden Spider was still there. But she enjoyed her dream, being with the people she knew and cared about. She smiled and was glad to be with them.

 

The Golden Spider at some point had left Vanille's shoulder after she manifested her friends in her dream. Deciding to watch her from a distance in her dream world.

"Enjoy you dream while you can." he said even tough Vanille couldn't hear him. "Dark days are coming. I am curious what role you will play, Vanille."

With that the Golden Spider faded from the dream world.
