There was a long pause between both sides, as the Huckebein simply stared at the newcomer. It was a good few long seconds before anybody said anything at all.
"Who the 'ell is this?" Arnage asked, looking at the other two Huckebein.
"No-one we know." Veyron shrugged, stepping forward.
"Does it matter?" Deville asked, brandishing his axe again, ready to renew his attack.
"Eh, whatever. We got what we came for, so let's leave 'em to it." Arn suggested, ejecting the last few spent shells.
"We got, what? A couple dozen kills each?" she asked, looking around. "That'll last us a lil' while. Anyone grab something for Stella?"
"Cypha had that covered."
"Then it's your lucky day, 'heroes'. You'll probably get a minute or two head start on us."
As they finished speaking, a great ship began to approach from the distance; looking like a pair of giant daggers strapped to one another.
And that's essentially what it was, in truth. A Divider on a huge scale, operated from within by the youngest Huckebein; Stella Irvine.
Arnage, Veyron, and, reluctantly, Deville, leapt into the air, flying towards the oncoming ship with a fair speed.
There wouldn't be long before they reached the ship, and if they did... it wasn't likely they would leave much city behind when they left.

~~Colloseum~~

"Shall I assume your decision to be a positive one?" the Caster asked, judging this by the man's reaction. "Together, I am certain we will find a way around the 'no killing' rule this tournament has."

Even as he was struck, Guy didn't flinch, instead using the momentum gained in order to speed his counterattack up, striking the blue Greeed across the head with his foot, before flashing green briefly and thrusting his fist into the being's torso, knocking it back a considerable distance. It was surprising how much strength such a thin man had, but since he still carried the strength and speed that his mechanical body used to have despite being fully organic again, it came as no surprise to anybody that knew him.

 

Luxord smiled and said "Your on."
Luxord looked at Lee and asked "So, are you all in? All the money on the table?
Luxord stopped right before he was about to make a move, and takes a glimpse at Lee's case.
"How much you got in there anyways? You better not be pulling any angles."
Luxord laughed silently to himself while saying "That's my job."

 

Poseidon was flung back against the wall and glared at Guy, he sent a wave of water energy at him. Watching, Michal examined his Greeed's attacks very carefully. Ankh watched Kazari, wondering what sneaky tricks the feline Greeed had underneath his claws for this fight and what lengths he go to do those tricks. Hina continued commendatory on the Greeed's surprising teamwork.

Yuna was hit by Katniss' arrow, but gasped for air as she began to feel the Berserker's nature take over. She changed into White Mage and healed herself before changing to Warrior and attacking Katniss. Terra cast Holy, sending three balls of white lights to Samus, while Vivi cast Demi. A large black dome appeared and dropped down on them, appearing to crush them, but Team Mockingjays were okay when it disappeared.

After changing back into her regular clothes, Serah took Snow and Hermione to find Lighting in order to see if what Axel said was true, though Serah had a feeling the Lighting she heard was a different one from the one she and Snow knew.

 

Zack and his companion had missed alot of action.. that was all changed when one of them fell too the floor, bleeding. Zack rushed over to him. "Come on, man! Don't die on me! MEDIC!" It was now that he finally spoke. "Frost." He said. "My name... is Sgt. Frost..." he coughed a little, unfortunately it was blood he coughed up. Zack didn't know who this newcomer was either, due to Aragorns having missed that post... he'd find out soon enough.

Coliseum.

Nixio shook his head in disbelief. "So, what? You're just gonna let her die?" He looked down to the unconsious Reinforce - surely there was a way to save her... there has to be. He'd never been one for fate, he'd denied his ages ago.

Roxas entered the infirmary to see Aqua hugging a man. "So... I'm... guessing... your... her father...?" He said, before he collapsed onto a bed. Xion and Eleanor entered the infirmary as well. "Roxas!" Xion said as she ran to his side, they got him onto the bed and, although they knew he couldn't die in here, they tended to him as if his life depended on it.

Then there was a knock on the door, and who else entered other than Cloud, Barbossa, Genesis, Luke and...
Terra. Terra saw Master Eraqus and went up to him. "Master..." He said. How was he going to break the news to him? 'Hey, I learned how to control Darkness! Master Xehanort said so! Oh, and by the way, he's my new Master!' That would not go down too well.

 

OOC: The following may appear as godmodding but its not. These are the same effects that the Zero Laser has in Smash Bros.

They were too late. By the time attacked, Samus had fired. The Zero laser plowed through their spells and headed straight for Yuna. Samus could've easily fired in the air, but she decided the ground was safer. When the dome appeared to crush them, she knew they'd be fine.

Zelda looked at the others. "Everyone lock hands and hold on to me. I can get us to the coliseum." It was true, she had thought ahead and made a Farore's Wind Waypoint before coming here.

 

Yuna fell back, but Terra guarded her from the next incoming attack. Vivi joined at her side and gripped his staff. Terra and Vivi both cast Meteor on them. WilyKit watched with interest from the presenter's box, though she was still silently rooting for Tgyra like her brother and the other Thundercats.

"Hey, Serah. What if we don't find Lighting there?" Hermione said, causing the trio to stop their looking, Serah looked and asked, "What do you mean, Hermione?" "I mean, Axel might have been messing with you before the match, saying Lighting was here. But I do believe you whole-heartily about her being alive somewhere. I can distinctly remember seeing six crystallized figures falling from the Death Star when Orphan was defeated. But everyone else remember there being five, like Lighting never fell with them to begin with. Even though Harry also remembers seeing six crystals, no one believes him or me, for that matter. I could have made up that story, since I don't know her as well as you or Snow." She held Lighting's knife in her hand, Serah looked at her and sighed.

"No worries, Hermione. That's why we're going to see and find out. Now, the seats should be right around here." Serah looked around and opened the door to the area to see if Sazh or Lighting were there.

~Velos City~

Rydia sighed and grabbed Zack's hand.

 

Samus could either blast them or the Meteor. Before she could decide, her Power Suit disappeared. The meteor was close to hitting them. "We forfeit!" Katniss said. She had seen pointless deaths durinng the Hunger Games. Now that she cared about other competitors, she didn't want that to happen.

 

Joker, who had been ignored by the group of Villains, appeared next to Katniss.
"Erm, no one can die here. Am I the only one who remembers that? Really? IT WAS A FLIPPING ANNOUNCEMENT!" After that, he left for the stands.

Velos City.
Zack hauled Frost onto his shoulders, and used his free hand to hold onto Rydia/Zelda/whoever's hand he needs to hold.

Back at the Coliseum.

Vanitas, not knowing where Fang was(wether she was with Final Fantasy or not), had gone looking for her... and ended up in the infirmary. "Well... this is... awkward..." He said upon seeing Eraqus. "Erm... hi?"

 

Terra and Vivi looked a bit confused by Katniss forfeiting the match, Terra guessed they might have gone a bit overboard with their meteor spells and looked embarrassed. She helped Yuna out of the match. Vivi ran beside them.

Looking around, Serah called out, "Hey, Sazh? Lighting, are you guys here? Mog, try to find them." Mog nodded with a 'kupo' and flew around, looking for his master's sister and companion. Hermione put Lighting's knife for the moment and looked around with Serah and Snow.

 

Ichigo was freed from kazari's dreadlocks and teh feline decided to select him as oppent as he brought Zangestu ina guarding position before speed suddenly was a factor, he and kazari vanished one second and reappeared another second completely elsewhere and all that time, Ichigo had a very calml expression on his face as he cut through more of kazari's dreadlocks and through him as the Feline Greed bled quite a few Cell Medals, heck Ichigo didn't even use a Getsuga Tenshou yet, if anythign Ichigo's calm expression should bve ticking off Kazari at this second.

Zidane was confused yet the match was forfieted but he nevertheless, decided to accept it surprisnlgly.

ALl of Protecter's Characters merely watched the battle, well apart from ventus who awoke in the Infirmy luckily..

BM watched Team Orange form the COuncil of Proper EVil Villians "Could they have chosen a more...I dunno, more better name!? it soudns liek they named themselves after that Orange advertisement on TV!" he said and noted teh forfieters and he raised his ahdns up dramatically. "Oh come on! Are many people here a pussy or is this a tournament of bloodshed, deatha dn that good stuff!?" he paused for a moment. "No offence to you Scar, but we ahve the best seats in the house and the matches aren't exactly being... all spectacular! I swear, if they don't get their game on..." His eyes narrowed ratehr considerbly now and he covered his hat over them. "Damn, I made a Yu-Gi-Oh! GX reference...oh this won't go down well..."

 

Velos City



Janus looked towards the ones flying at the strange ship. He stood back and watched his targets as his patience grew thin. "Hey, punks! Why don't you come down here and fight?!"

 

"My, word seems to get around when one shows up." He said jokingly, before drawing Terra into their hug as well. Then turned to Roxas. "You....Could say that. Yes"

With Marluxia, having been absent from the rp since he departed Castle Oblivion for Disgaea Tower, it was decided he needed some screen time. Needless to say, he was almost utterly shocked at key stars' loss. Except he couldn't be. Surprise requires the ability to feel. "The Keyblade's power has been bested? Hmph. I'll need to remember to watch my back for children in the future."

Angelus nodded at Caster. "Indeed. But i'd advise against stealing Caim's kills." She said in a dead serious tone.
~~~Velos City~~~
The warrior of light looked at the incoming ship. "Before we flee, is there any way to stop that ship? if we don't thousands of innocents will likely perish. We can't let that happen.

 

Aqua smiled, enjoying this moment with her master as long as she could. Her only hope was that Ventus woke up and join them, but she was content with just Terra at the moment. Harry led Terra and Yuna to the infirmary and led them to a different area to heal and rest. Fang entered the infirmary to see how much of the damage had been healed during the moment and smiled at Aqua, Eqarus, and Terra.

Vivi brought himself a drink and sighed in relief. Unlike Black Mage elsewhere, Vivi didn't like fighting all that much and remembered when he was part of the Festival of the Hunt due to the fact Zidane signed him up for it. He sipped his drink and thought back to the adventure he had with Zidane on Gaia.

Hermione decided that they should split to find where Lighting and Sazh were, Snow went in one direction, Hermione went in another while Serah and Mog stayed where they were. Serah smiled as she thought how Hermione used Snow's bandanna, she had tied it around her right arm, saying she would be able to look after it easier and wondered why she and Harry were the only ones who saw Lighting's crystal form fall with the others after the Death Star II fell.

Kazari started to growl at Ichigo and created a mini-cyclone to attack him. Poseidon ran toward Guy and swung his harpoon at him.

 

~Medical Bay~​

Sherlock and McCoy's game had been postponed due to patient duties, making sure that everyone checked out well after the battles and such. In the meantime Sherlock brought his attention to Hawkeye, who was still sitting by Natasha's beside. "Might I ask who the poor sod over there is, he looks quite dreadful."
"Oh yes, he's been there for awhile now, can't figure out what's wrong with the girl. She is in a bit of a state like you were earlier, only much deeper it would seem."
The two were interrupted when Director Fury entered the bay, "Excuse me gentlemen, I'm looking for a lost bird." McCoy and Holmes pointed across the room at Hawkeye. "Barton, it's time to get up and get moving. You can't do anything for her by sitting around."
"I know Director, she'll be safe here.. but what are we going to do?"
"For now we'll wait for these people to finish their tournament. I think you suspect it as well as I do that something is amiss, I'm sure once this is over the truth will start to be revealed. Say your goodbye for the moment while I go get Hill and Coulson." Clint did as he was told, saying a few things he hoped could get through, holding her hand for a moment and then heading off for the Medical lobby. He walked in on Fury thanking Dr. McCoy for fixing his two agents up, "Just a few minor injuries, they'll be back to 100 percent in a few days."
"Excellent Doctor. Alright, let's head out." Fury went for the door lock when it opened by itself in front of him, he took a step back when he saw who was standing in the doorway.
"It's good to see you again sir. I just wanted to see how you were all doing and thank you for your help." Fury knew something was off from the moment the boy started talking, "Selim? What's wrong, you don't sound good.." McCoy grabbed ahold of the table behind Fury, his eyes were stretched open, something shocked him from the readings he was taking, "He's dead, Fury."
You could see Fury's expression grow cold as he turned back around at the boy, Selim giving him only a small grin. His eyes looked different, along with his entire presence thickening the air. Fury was about to sputter out something when another voice rang out from across the room at the doorway to the medical hall, a soft hand running down Barton's shoulder caused him to jump back and ready an arrow. He wasn't fast enough though, his arrow was sliced in two before he could load it.
"Aw, not in a playful mood Hawky?" Lust stood at one exit with Selim at the other, the group apparently surrounded. "If I might inquire, what's going on?" Lust gave Holmes a wink and pushed Barton into the center of the room. "Oh we're not here for you handsome, although I might be making a change of plans."
Selim's expression turned from evil grin to evil stare, directed toward Lust. "We're here for Director Fury, Father wishes to see you. Sir." He spoke in a mocking voice, "Father? What does this Father want?"
"Spoiler alert Director, we can't go ruining all the fun. We can however slaughter the lot of you in here if you don't come quietly. Father explicitly said he'd like to see you kneel before him, that can be easily arranged if you don't have legs."
"I'd enjoy it so much, I almost hope you're not cooperative." Lust's fingers grew out to resemble blades, sharp enough to slice through anyone like butter. As Fury thought over what on earth their plans could be, the power they hold and the thought of what they could do to everyone with him, Sherlock ran over and tripped him onto the floor. Lust reacted by shooting her finger across the room, it appeared Sherlock planned for this because he had also started falling down with Fury. Her finger flew over Sherlock's head as he pulled out his pistol and shot her in the chest. He and Fury landed in a heap on the floor, the first thing the Director saw was Selim's head impaled with Lust's finger. The two antagonist fell to the floor, blank stares on their motionless bodies.
"I do believe I timed that well."

The group was trying to recover from the incident, taking a few moments to compose themselves. McCoy began examining the bodies, it was very apparent that they were dead by human standards. "Obviously their dead, but they were no more dead 10 minutes ago before this happened. I never read a heartbeat out of either of them."
"That's because you're treating us like humans you simpleton." McCoy rushed backward when the Selim started talking. The boy reached up and yanked Lust's finger out of his head, "Watch where you aim, idiot."
"Oh I'm sorry, maybe if you helped for once instead of keeping that stupid get up."
Selim's shadow enveloped the wall behind him, then it began to creep across the floor in spear like appendages. The boy's eyes illuminated red for a moment, "I apologize for my behavior. I'll take it from here." Enormous blood shot eyes opened up across the room, followed by serrated teeth.

The group backed up to the door that lead to the other part of the Medical Bay, Lust no longer blocking the exit, but instead holding Nick Fury's throat still with her blade like finger. "Have fun Pride, I'll take care of him." She walked out behind Pride, the child surrounded by the black tentacles that were creeping closer and closer to the group. "Now would be a good time to run." The shadow burst out faster toward the group as they rushed through the door, slamming it behind them they ran down the hallway, hoping to get everyone out while they still had time.

Velos City



Janus growled. "How the hell am I supposed to stop that thing at the moment?! Fine! I'll humor you!" He aimed his ARM at the ship and fired three shots. After that, he ran towards the entrance of the city, which would be his nearest exit. "Finish them off for me will ya?!"

 

~Velos City~

"You coward!!!!!" Rydia shouted at him as he ran off. She sighed and looked at the sky, wondering what Eidolon to summon.

~Coliseum~

After a empty search, Serah figured maybe Hermione was right, Axel did mess her about Lighting being here. She sat in a seat and held Mog in her arms, watching the match between Team Orange and Team Greeed Duo. She thought to herself, 'Am I ever going to find you, Lighting?' Watching the match, Serah looked at Khione's crystal and smiled as she thought back to what Lighting told her.

 

At that remark, Janus stopped. He grew more angry by the minute and looked directly as Rydia from afar. "Coward, huh? If you can do something to get these blokes down here, why don't you do it so I can take them on?" He walked back towards the group and fired three more shots toward the ship before reloading. "What are ya waiting for?! Bring them down!"

 

~~Colloseum~~

Reacting as fast as his Evoluder reflexes could, Guy threw up a wall of energy ahead of him to block Poseidon's water attack, succeeding - albeit barely. It wasn't the type of thing he was used to doing, usually prefering more straightforward methods of combat. He drew the Will Knife again, clashing it against the blue Greeed's weapon and struggling against it, unsure just how they would achieve a victory.
And then, the way hit him. He knew what he could do, but first...
"Ichigo, can you still fight in the air easily?" he asked, turning to his partner briefly, hoping for a fast response.

"We are constantly looking for a solution, but without directly informing our mistress, progress has been difficult." Zafiria continued, explaining the full situation to the Nobody boy.
"The fact of the matter is that everybody dies eventually. Eins has already lived for thousands of years, but this one has been the only one she was able to enjoy as herself, for herself. She will be able to die happy of that, at the very least."

"That's quite alright." the Caster explain, offering a bizarre-looking smile.
"I prefer the art one can create of one while still alive, before extinguishing their last remaining hope. I am quite fine with Caim being the extinguisher."
he threw out both arms dramatically, smiling even more broadly, but especially genuinely, as he spun around a little.
"So I, Bluebeard, shall join you in your conquest of the arena! Just give me the word and I shall summon up a suitable fourth member."

"Well then I guess Team Mockingjays is out. That was short. And anti-climactic. Unfortunately, some of our matches have to postponed for a while, meaning that rather than proceeding to the next preliminary, we'll get underway with the first true rounds. First up will be... Team Death vs Team Slaughterism!"

~~Velos City~~

Explosive shots began to ring out, as the Esquad Huckebein began to fire upon the city and it's inhabitants, including the resisting group. The buildings were clearly not designed for this kind of assault, and were being smashed apart as easy as glass beneath the heavy guns of the enroaching ship. The three Huckebein had reached the ship shortly after leaving the city, leaving nothing more to be shot at besides the vessel itself, which predictably had far heavier armour than what regular gunfire would damage.

 

-Velos City~

Rydia watched what happened and sighed, gripping herself. She looked down, hiding her eyes with her bangs.

~Coliseum~

After returning to her team's box, Hermione sat down while Draco spoke, "I still don't get Team Greeed Duo's name." Hermione facepalmed and wasn't going to explain why, instead watched the match.

Poseidon struggled against the Will Knife and tried to knock it out of Guy's hand while Kazari slashed at Ichigo's Zangestu.

 

"That's it, I'm outta here..." He walked back to the entrance, seeing his ARM was not able to do much. He wave goodbye and smirked before walking out of town, leaving them for dead while they dealt with the destruction in the city.

"Dammit, now what do I do?"
