~Crossover Cove~

With a gasp, Serah quickly changed to Sentinel and cast Steelguard on herself to protect herself from the energy spears, then changed into Commando and looked at Shadow, Mog changing into his bow form and Serah shot at him. Like Serah, Snow changed into his Sentinel role and used Steelguard to protect himself before changing into his Ravager role and cast Water and Blizzard on the fire Pokemon, Vanille was also in her Ravager role and cast a Thunder on Typhlosion. Fang watched, interested in the match.

"Maybe that thing doesn't count as a member of the team?" Tommy said, finishing his hotdog.

"And it looks like Team Pest Control's attack left the two Dalek's worn down enough for that last move to take them both down! What a major upset this is, with swordsmen taking down futuristic tyrants like it was childsplay! We'll get right on with replacing their match, so be sure to keep your eyes on both stadiums!"

A trio of cutlas-like weapons suddenly appeared between Typhlosion and the approaching magic attacks, causing them to be hit and shattered, but sparing the Pokémon any damage at all, as Sayaka ran straight towards Snow with a sword in hand, swinging at him wildly with surprising strength. It was obvious that this girl was more than she appeared at this point, being strong enough to start pushing Snow back right off the bat.
Jotaro ran up to Noel straight away and punched him in the face with Star Platinum, before hopping back and away from him, ready for the next move.

 

Snow barely managed to change his Paradigm when Sakuya suddenly attacked, but her sword was blocked by Mog's sword form. Serah had come over to help her hero and said, "You're facing me now!" Knowing Serah could take care of herself, Snow went after the Pokemon and its trainer, casting his spells again on the fire Pokemon. Vanille changed to her Saboteur role and cast Slow on Shadow, not sure if he was immune to it.

 

Noel had shifted to Sentinel just in tiem to sofen the blow then immedaitely shifted to Commando as he gave a focused look. "You really want to face me? Fine by me!" he charged at Jotaro before unleashing a Fira and Thundara at him and then quickly shifted to Commando and lauching six rapid Ruins at him.

As Snow ran toward Typhlosion, Ethan commanded his Pokémon.
"Typhlosion, Defense Curl, now!"
Typhlosion did as Ethan said, and literally curled up into a ball, defending itself against Snow's magic attacks. While Blizzard wasn't very effective, Water still managed to deal some good damage on the Pokémon.
"Alright, now counter-attack with Quick Attack!"
Typhlosion un-curled before charging at Snow with great speeds, ramming itself into the l'Cie.
Typhlosion jumped back near Ethan.
"You okay?"
Typhlosion nodded, ignoring the damage done to it.

Meanwhile, Shadow had been slowed down by Vanille's spell.
"Hmph. Slow me all you want. I'm still faster than you." Shadow said in a slow-mo voice before using...
"Chaos Control!"
Shadow then warped from his position to behind Vanille, where he roundhouse kicked her in the side. Since he was still "slowed", it didn't have as much force behind it as he intended, but it still dealt damage.
He then teleported back to his original position, where the Slow effect wore off.
"Foolish."

 

Snow staggered back a bit from the attack, but regained himself and got in his stance again after changing his role to Commando. Vanille groaned when Shadow hit her, she changed into her Medic role and healed everyone who received damage. Watching from the presenter's box, Fang smiled and said, "This is becoming a interesting battle. At least, team l'Cie knows what to change their roles."

Hermione smiled as she watched the fight, but stood up and left to get a snack to calm her nerves for her team's match. Glaring at Lighting's knife as she remembered what Axel said at the start of the match, she wondered to herself, 'Are you really here, Lighting? That comment still concerns me.' She brought some popcorn and a drink, Hermione calmly ate the popcorn and drank her drink.

Grinning on one side of her mouth, although irritated that she had been intercepted, she quickly realised that it was likley for the best. Nobody wants to see two damage sponges fight; something like that could wind up going on forever.
Swinging her sword with an intense force, it shattered on Mog's sword form, causing pieces of broken sword to make it past Serah's defence, and not slowing Sayaka down even slightly as she simply summoned a second set of the weapons behind her, one of which she grabbed and swung again with the same force, the exact same thing happening again. In terms of straight-up fighting, Sayaka was definitely more built for it despite her shorter height and younger age. But as many could probably tell by now, her main abillity seemed to just be those swords, leaving her with no real ranged attacks except for launching the swords.
"Damn straight I do!" Jotaro yelled, as Star Platinum came forward, grabbing both of the elemental spells and throwing them back at the owner, before punching each of the Ruins out of the way.
"Star..."
Star Platinum leaned back and pointed at Noel, apparently charging some kind of attack.
"...Finger!"
Star Platinum's entire finger just suddenly stretched, the tip launching towards Noel and hitting him hard enough to send him a good distance away. And that was just his finger. A full powered punch from Star Platinum... well that would do damage, that was for sure.

"Wow, this match is really kicking off, isn't that right Pleinair?"
"..."
"I agree completely! Moving on to the other side of the arena, we have two full teams lined up and ready face each other; Team Key Stars and Team Yagami, come to the stage please!"

 

Noel barely managed to switch to Sentinel before the attack connected and he groaned, being sent back a far bit and he breathed deeply. This guy certainly moved fast and had enough power to boot, if Noel had to compare him, he was just like Gilgamesh minus the swords, poses and such and Noel sighed a bit. "Looks like I'll have to just buff up." he thought to shifted to Syngerist and cast Shell, Veil and Protect in rapid succession upon him, boosting his resistance to Magic, Physical and Status by 25% and 50% for Veil, he was a good Syngerist but he and Serah usually left the role to Yakshini, a Syngerist monster and it's Feral Link buffing them them in in one shot.

Noem then decided to shift to Saboteur and mentally cast Deshall, Deprotect, Poisona md Imperil at Jotaro and charged fowards, switching to Ravager and used Flamestrike in his much larger sword and surprisingly, Sparkstrike in his dagger, it wa sunder of but it was possible with him since he did dual wield and went to strike at Jotaro.

 

Serah gasped when Sakuya kept making swords appear. She went into Sentinel to soften the damage of the broken pieces of swords, she jumped backward and changed to Ravager and cast Aero, Thunder, and Water on Sakuya. Snow went after Ethan and his pokemon again, Vanille joined Serah in her Ravager role and cast Fire on Sakuya.

"I don't get all the changing colors they're doing. Can't they just stick to one?" Draco asked, sounding bored out of his mind. Hermione spoke when she came, "Of course, you wouldn't get it. When a person branded a l'Cie, they have six assigned roles. Commando : the fighter, Ravager: the magician, Medic: the healer, Syngerist: the supporter, and Saboteur: the debuffer. The l'Cie can change what role they need for the battle countless times." "Snow told you that much?" Harry asked, smiling, Hermione smiled, "Vanille and Fang explained a bit too."

Hearing the announcement, Aqua smiled and said, "Ven, Mickey, Roxas. It's time for our match." She went to the arena.

Star Platinum suddenly grabbed ahold of both oncoming weapons despite having been debuffed, taking the elemental damage to the hands, but allowing Jotaro the upper hand for the next part, where he forced the weapons out of Noel's grip and left him defenceless for a moment.
Well, maybe not completely defenceless.
As Jotaro himself went to punch his opponent, Noel had just moved out of the way, presumably to pick up one of his weapons. He sent Star Platinum after the warrior, hoping to take advantage of the gap he had created in his defences.

Sayaka slashed through the aero easily enough, but the Thunder struck her pretty quickly afterwards. While she felt it, it didn't hurt, and whatever damage it had done would quickly heal up anyway, so she wasn't too worried as she struck the oncoming Water also, causing it to split and fall to either side of her harmlessly.
She suddenly noticed Vanille and Serah closing the distance between each other, and before she knew it there was a double Fire headed straight towards her at high speed. It hit her just below her neckline, and left her slightly singed. She was slightly surprised at that, when she realised that fire had always been the natural weakness to regeneration; burned flesh was not easily healed.
Damn, gotta be careful of those. she told herself, annoyed at her carelessness. Nevertheless, she spawn a few more swords behind her and tossed them blade-first at Serah and Vanille, before running in right behind them in the midst of another powerful swing at both of the girls.

Snow began to charge at Typhlosion again.
"This guy just doesn't give up...Typhlosion! Hit 'em with Lava Plume!"
Typhlosion opened it's mouth, and scarlet flames began to form before he fired them at Snow. If they were to hit, not only would dead fire damage, but it would have a 30% chance of leaving a burn debuff on him.
"Try all you want, Blondie! But no matter how hard you try; Fire always melts snow!"

As Typhlosion's attack went for Snow, Shadow decided to assist by warping behind Snow and homing-attacking him in the back, sending him closer to the Lava Plume.

~Coliseum Lobby~​

Standing in the lobby was Signum Yagami, along with her teammates Zafira Yagami, Hayate Yagami, and Reinfoce Eins.
Their team had been called to battle.
"It's time. Let's get going."
Signum lead her team into the arena, where they awaited the arrival of their opponents.

 

Quickly, Serah changed to Sentinel then used Steelguard to soften the damage and Vanille changed Syngerist and managed to cast Protect herself, so the damage wouldn't be as bad. After Sakuya had attacked them, Vanille quickly changed to Medic, then healed herself and Serah. Serah nodded at Vanille and tried to be ready to block any more of the swords.

Snow groaned and quickly changed into his Sentinel to soften the damage. He wondered what kind of creature Typhlosion was and the kind of attack it used. Standing up, he said, "I should thank that black thing. Now I'm right where I need to be." He changed to his Ravager role and used Froststrike on Typhlosion.

Above the stadium the Halberd remained in it's hovering position, broadcasting all the events of the tournament on it's mega screens. Meta Knight stood with his hands behind his back examining the battles raging and coming to conclusions.
"A very interesting tournament wouldn't you say?"
A man cast in an overcoat and scarf walked up behind Meta Knight, catching him off guard.
"Wha-Who are you?" He drew his sword, "How did you get in my ship without me knowing about it?"
"Teleporting, half the cast does it."
"..Regardless, who are you and what do you want?"
"My name is Loki. I'm simply admiring your ship, a very grand vessel indeed."
"Indeed."
"Also, I wonder what you might think of a partnership of sorts."
Meta Knight kept his sword readied, "Why would I want a partnership with you, my goals are none of your business."
Loki took a seat in one of the command chairs, "Because I know you, you've been a bit of a mischief maker in your time. My goal is to cause all sorts of mischief, with the help of you and your airship I can cause plenty."
"And what exactly is in it for me?"
"Wealth, power, whatever you desire. Perhaps revenge on a certain pink puff, and the ability to show the world your power. With me you can make that all a reality."
"Tempting, but I'll be calling the shots. Once the tournament is over we'll discuss this further."
"As you wish." Loki disappeared from the ship, Meta Knight mulled over the possibilities while turning his attention back to the battles.

 

OOC: UPDATED BANNER!

Ven nodded at Aqua, it seems likes matches were going on all the over palce, but he was lookign forward to it, he didn't get to hjoin the Coliseum's matches sadly and smiled at Aqua,

Marvelous heard Key Stars and wondered who the hell they were. "Odd name for a team." he said but then again he couldn't complain, there was those Prism Rangers and whoever the hell they were, they certainly didn't look like a Sentai Group.

Somewhere within the walls of the Coliseum, a black mage was wandering around but it wasn't Vivi at all, no, thsi Black Mage had a blue cloak with the hoot down, wearing the trademark hat and the dark round flesh and creepy yellow eyes, he did carrya staff hwoever, no instead, hidden deep within in his pockets were a daggers, why? so he cna kill any suspicous people or anyone who ticke dhim off, this was Black Mage, a figurehead of destruction and all that jazz, he was just strolling along the idiot group, the 'Light Warriors' to 'save the world' honestly BM didn't give a damna bout that, he wanted nothign more than to be a evil psychopath and get whatever he wants and that good stuff, thankfully, Fighter, Thief and Red Mage didn't end up...where-ever the hell he was, so he was free to do as he pleased, he didn't know a tournament was going on either cause he ignored the TV's broadcasting.

"Now, where's all the free food and babes?" he asked himself, he did fall head over heels for WHite Mage but theyw ere very subtle differences, he casts spells of death, terror and destruction whiel she casts spells of healing and all that crap and too, she wielded a hammer, BM admitted he did coem clsoe to death by that hammer using corny sexual lines to get WM in bed with him, and what reward did he get? the bloody hammer to the face!

Following his teammates, Mickey entered the arena. He looked around to see who they were up against. He'd heard something about a "team Yagami." "I wonder what kinda people we're up against." He stated to no one in particular. Whoever they were, they were likely pretty tough, but he was confident they could handle them. He summoned his shimmering golden keyblade and waited for the match to begin.

Meanwhile, watching from the stands, was a middle aged Asian man with solid black hair, tied in a ponytail, and a mustache. He wore a white coat and light tan pants. over his chest was a dark blue armor plate. He'd been spectating the matches, and he seemed quite interested in the one just starting. The participants may have had something to do with it.

Muttering something under her breath, Sayaka leapt at the pair again, this time wielding two of the swords instead of just one, slamming then down towards them, before she changed her direction and switched into a dual upper with the weapons, catching the pair off-guard.
Grinning on one side again, she dashed past them, leaving a trail of musical notes behind her as she went, forming a small magical barrier out of them around herself, giving herself the same protection they had. Her shield worked differently however; whenever something that would do damage connected with the field, a sword would be created to block it, before the same sword would be dismissed. It was simply an alternate use of her magic geared towards defence, and unless the two females of Team l'Cie found it's weakness, she would be more-or-less invulnerable so long as it was active.

Since Noel had apparently decided to do nothing, Jotaro took full advantage of the situation, punching him in the stomach with Star Platinum, and readying himself for a full assault.
"Star Platinum!" he called, the Stand appearing directly behind him as Noel came back down from the last hit.
Suddenly there was a massive flurry of blows, moving faster than most eyes could watch, directed straight at Noel's centre of gravity.
"ORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAORAOR AORAORAORAORAORA--" Jotaro called out, as his mach-speed punches fired at the warrior.

"Looks like Team Key Stars is here, with Aqua, Ventus, King Mickey, and Roxas!" Axel announced as the four entered the arena, their weapons on display.
"Quite an impressive line-up they have here, with two Keyblade masters-in-training, a king, and a well-known Heartless all teaming up for what may well be a tough battle."
He looked over to the other side for a moment.

~Inside~

A young girl sat beside Signum Yagami, her tidy brown hair and short stature radically misdirecting attention from just how dangerous she truly could be. The fact was that her alone was likely the strongest person besides Overlord Zetta in the entire Tower at this point, and with Reinforce and two of the Wolkenritter by her side...
"Yeah, I'm ready." she said, smiling up at Signum, as a dark-skinned man lifted her up in both arms, taking her into a princess carry position, as he approached the doorway himself.
"As am I." he spoke, his voice particularly quiet. His large figure made him look like the most dangerous, and his tanned skin and grey hair, along with his wolf tail and ears, made him look all the more like he should be evil. And yet, Zafira Yagami, otherwise simply known as the family dog, and occassionally playing the role of adopted father to his mistress Hayate, was perhaps the softest spoken of all of them, only speaking when he had something definite to say.
"Then let's begin." Reinforce agreed, as the doors began to open, revealing the audience to them, and them to the audience.

Spoiler: Theme of Team Yagami

"--well be a tough battle. But here comes the other team, the family of mages all the way from Earth, with a full team today; Team Yagami!"
The audience cheered at them, apparently impressed by how they looked. And it was easy to see why; each of them looked like a true warrior, clad in their Knight Clothing. All except Hayate, of course, who remained in Zafira's arms for the time being.
"Donning a black outfit and silver hair is the group's all-round combatant; Reinforce Eins, the Blessed Wind of the Night Sky. With her dark elemental preference and with spells from every one of the Book of Darkness's former victims, it's easy to see why she'd be such an asset to their team.
Coming up second is the pink-haired front-line swordswoman, Signum Yagami, the General of the Raging Fire. With a fire elemental proficiency, and being an expert in the use of her Laevantein, she'll likely be the one to watch out for in the early hours of the round!
In the navy blue outfit, muscles shown clearly through it's design, Zafira Yagami, the Shielding Guardian Beast. Featuring a defensive specialisation and the ability to transform into his more agile wolf form, this is one man that will be tough to get past.
And last but not least, the team leader and Mistress of the Night Sky, Hayate Yagami, currently sat there in Zafira's arms. Don't let her innocent looks fool you; she's an S-class mage who has been compared to a magically-powered nuke, and rightly so; her strength is off of the charts, with your only solace being that her training to focus that power is in it's early stages. Nevertheless, let this Magical Girl get one of her stronger attacks out and there will be a lot of cleaning up to do!
Here to commentate for us today was the White Devil herself, Nanoha Takamachi, but after an incident involving small horses and magical weapons, we decided that it was probably in our best interests to cancel her invitation."

Reinforce looked at Hayate questioningly, obviously somewhat confused about what incident the announcer was refering to.
Hayate gave a short giggle in response, before attempting to explain.
"For Nanoha-san, 'Friendship is Magic' isn't just a phrase." she said, smiling at her family members, before transforming into her Magical Girl attire and floating out of Zafira's arms.
"We're ready." she told the other team, as well as Axel, looking over at the other team.

Typhlosion wasn't hurt much by the Froststrike attack, seeing as did little damage to Fire types.
"How you holding up, Typhlosion?"
It was apparent that the Fire Pokémon was getting weaker, but it was still determined to fight.
Meanwhile, Shadow came up behind Snow and kicked him to the side right after he used Frostrike, this time having full force behind the kick.
The kick was powerful enough to push Snow to the side, so Shadow took the opportunity to spindash into him as fast as he could.

~Secondary Arena~​

Signum stepped into the arena with her partners, ready for battle.
Signum examined her opponents closely.
"The blue-haired fighter could be a threat, but..."
She looked closer at Aqua's teammates.
"Do they really expect two children and a mouse to put up a decent fight?"
Each of the opponents held a strange weapon.
"They're weapons are...Different. Definitely not devices of any kind. Be on your guard."
Signum gripped the hilt of her blade and prepared for the battle.

"Well, isn't this a surprise. The king himself is competing in these games." Maleficent grinned at the sight of King Mickey and the keyblade wielders preparing for battle. Scar gazed down at them, "We can hope for them to be quickly dispatched, seeing as mooks carrying giant keys around seem to be our weakness."
Maleficent sneered as Ursula and Hook made their way into the room taking a seat to the right of Scar. "Much quieter in here."
"Quite, Oogie has gone off the deep end next door, how a sack of bugs manged to become that intoxicated is beyond me."
"How are things going so far with you two? I see the rat and his friends have made an appearance."
Maleficent nodded, "Yes, we were just saying how grand it would be for them to be taken care of. My initial suspicion was dead on though, these games are providing us very welcome information."
The group waited in anticipation for the next round to start.

 

Snow was groaned when he was hit the wall, he stood up and changed into Commando before casting Ruinga on Tylphosion and Shadow. He smiled at knowing at least the Pokemon was getting weaker, if he could keep that up and beat Shadow while Noel, Serah, and Vanille defeated their opponent, they might been able to win this match. Serah and Vanille, meanwhile were amazed at Sakuya's abilities, Vanille healed them again before changing to Ravager and Serah changed to Commando. She used Scan before using Flamestrike on Sakuya, Vanille cast Fira.

~Stands~

Miroku watched the match, interested into the teamwork of the l'Cie. Kagome had gotten a snack and watched the match.

Tommy also had to admit that Key Stars was a weird name for a team, but he didn't say as he ate his nachos. Everyone here chose a name that fitted their team based on either from where they were found, their abilities, or what their weapon was.

Draco still didn't get the paradigm shifts while Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Ginny watched interested.

~Second Arena~

Before heading out into the arena, Aqua said a quick prayer for the team's safety and that they would win with no serious casualties as she held her Wayfinder. When she was done, she headed out with the others and stood ready with her keyblade out, looking at their opponent.

 

It would seem that some otherworldly force liked the Rising Sun rock version, so put it on his post as well...

Anywho, Roxas entered the arena with Oblivion in hand. He looked up to the crowd and waved, having seen stuff like that during his stay in England.
As it happened, he waved directly at Xion, Fang, Vanitas and Eleanor. Xion waved back and Roxas smiled. Then he turned his attention to the enemy at hand. "They seem like trouble. What tactic should we go for?" He wondered out loud. Also watching this tournament were none other than Xigbar, Demyx and Zexion. Who had magically teleported there. Zexion and Xigbar knew each one of Key Stars, whilst Demyx only knew of Roxas. "Who's the mouse?" Demyx questioned. That would be his majesty, King Mickey." "OOOOH! That's the king!" Zexion facepalmed. "Yes, that is." "So who's the guy who looks like Roxas?" "That would be Ventus." Xigbar answered. He looked at Roxas and shook his head. "Why does he always look like I just drowned his goldfish?"/COLOR] Then Demyx asked the inevitable question. "So... who's the hot blue haired one?" Zexion headdesked... somehow. Xigbar answered. "That would be Aqua." "Oh, right. I'll have to remember that..." "Demyx. We don't have feelings. " "I know, I know. I still know how to tell who's hot." [COLOR=darkorchid"]"... I'm not even gonna answer that."

Meanwhile, in the medic area, Shepard went up to the medic of which I forgot the name. "So, how's she holding up?" He asked.

Richard, Two-Face, EDI and Mordin were at the Tournament, watching. "Hmm... so, bets?" "I'm gonna bet on the team with the big weapons." And Richard indicated too Team Kagami. "Probability set. Age not matter, but experience. Most look experienced. Especially Mouse." He took a deep breath. "Should be exciting."

Roxas also noticed Aqua say a prayer. "Hey, what's that you're doing?" He asked. He'd been told by Axel that prayers were done by people who believed in stuff. He could still remember it. "What do you believe in Axel?" "Me? Sheesh, erm... ah, I don't know. I don't really have time for that kinda thing, ye know? I just wanna get some sleep." They laughed, but for some reason, Roxas had felt sorry for Axel.
