"What the hell happened to my artillery?" Dearche yelled over the carnage, seeing that only Stern and Levi were still following the plan. "I want another co-ordinated strike on that guy right now! And where the hell are Marluxia and Nove?!"
Indeed, Nove had also seemingly vanished from the battlefield, there one moment and gone the next. It was mere moments later when her position was revealed, as she flew down from the sky in a directed free-fall, headed directly for Sephiroth.

"Eat this!" Nove's voice cried out as she aimed directly for him, her foot coated in a blazing yellow energy.
"Revolver Spike!"
She spun around as she closed the distance between them, before slamming her magically-boosted foot straight into him, putting everything into getting past that barrier of his.

Seeing that Shirou had fallen down, Saber considered going to his side to help him, but she knew that moving from this place would mean Berserker getting a free shot at them, which she could not allow.
"Let's do this with honour." Saber stated, glaring back at her ally-turned-foe. "Even as you are you understand that, correct?"
Apparently something registered in the Berserker's mind, causing him to throw down the piece of metal he was going to use as a weapon, before reaching for some other, unseen weapon.
As soon as his hand gripped the handle of the weapon, it appeared, causing his plate helm to practically explode, sealing away For Someone's Glory and Knight of Honour, as well as revealing his true face, his weapon shining with a dark light.
"So it is you..." Arturia said, recognising him for sure now. "Lancelot..."

Due to plot, Barthandelus and the l'Cie could not be taken to the new area. That and the fact that they now had less than 5 minutes to stop him before the Death Star reached Earth's orbit, and Barthandelus was considered as part of the Death Star itself in his fal'Cie form.
Opening up his entire face, the 'Voice of the Sanctum' charged his lasers, before blasting them out in a wide and vicious arc, aiming and striking everyone. It was weaker than Ultima, but regardless, Lightning knew that they needed healing after it.
Throwing a bunch more Cures and Curas at the others, she brought them back up to almost full strength, before she renewed her assault alongside Sazh, who provided much-needed covering fire for her attack.
She ran up to the fal'Cie, stepping on his still-open face, and running up it, before leaping up above the main body and stabbing it hard in the top of the head, which had the instant effect of dispelling the two massive wings that Barthandelus had in this form.
"Sazh!" she called out, as the older male nodded in acknowledgement. He knew what to do.
He ran towards Barthandelus, whose face was still opened due to Lightning's attack, and leapt at it, spinning both of his pistols and aiming them right down his 'throat'.
"How about somma this?" he taunted, as he unleashed Cold Blood, a barrage of bullets and ruin from his weapons in tandem, destroying whatever was in there powering him, and causing him to roar out in pain, throwing Lightning back to the others, and then shimmering, indicating that he had apparently taken enough damage.
"Hey, put a lid on it."
"RELEASE!" Barthandelus cried out, sinking into the liquid behind where the throne had been. "AT LAST, RELEASE!"
His voice stopped, his body completely submerged, and silence pervaded the room. Barthandelus was gone.
Breathing a deep sigh of relief, Lightning stood back up from her position, and holstered her weapon.
"It's done." she said, almost disbelieving. They had killed Barthandelus, the fal'Cie directing the fall of the Death Star, and though the Death Star was still falling, without him or any other AI controlling the station, it would surely stop before hitting Earth.

There was a brief respite, where the l'Cie had chance to celebrate their apparent victory, before the owl-like familiar flew in once again, having somehow survived the death of it's master, and flying straight into the pool behind him, a bright light emerging from the pool as a familiar, yet alien voice called out, it's massive form rising from the liquid.
"A haven, yea. Yet it must fall ere we be saved."
"What the--?"
"Too frail a shell, and humans should not thrive."
The giant left fist of the machine rising from the water slammed down, knocking the l'Cie off of their feet as it continued to speak.
"Too stout a shell, and they would not die. Slaughter and Salvation -- two irreconsilable focuses we bore, yet bound we were in a Cocoon prison impervious to our power. And so we thank you, for giving us our longed-for birth."
He heard one of the others mutter 'Dysley?' in shock, and Sazh shook his head, readying his weapons once again as he relied.
"No. Not anymore."
"We are the Abandoned One, born, but now to die. Our name is Orphan. By our hand, the world shall know redemption!"
"So this is Orphan..."

Darelen was the first to step forward. "Oprhan... the one who cursed me. I've been searching for you. You'll pay for what you did to me. You gave me a focus that looked all-to-similar to order 66! WELL GUESS WHAT!? I F*beep*ING REJECTED IT!" He readied his weapon, ready to strike out at Orphan... perhaps someone should hold him back. Too late, he was charging forward. Throwing several ruins and then jumping above Orphan only to strike downwards and land. After this he struck at Orphan from behind, finally jumping over his head, casting ruin, and landing back where he first started.

 

Snow, Fang, and Vanille stood up and stood ready for the fight. Changing back into her Commando role, Fang joined Snow in casting Ruin on Orphan, before running with him and attacking him. Vanille cast some of her debuffs* on Orphan, she gently touched the flower in her pouch and thought of Hope. Snow gripped his fists, as he waited for the others.

*OOC: I'm gonna try to keep Vanille in her Saboteur role so she can be ready to use her Ful ATB Skill, Death, for the third form.

Harry sighed, Yuna looked at him, she asked, "What's wrong? You seem very depressed about something." "I'm just thinking about the l'Cie back on the Death Star. How are they faring? Are they enough to beat that fal'Cie? Will they be able to stop the Death Star from falling to Earth? I'm also concerned about one of the l'Cie because that one, Fang, is in love with Vanitas, the guy in black over there." Harry said, running a hand through his hair while the other held onto his sword.

 

"And what's wrong with me?" Asked Vanitas, who'd heard the whole thing. Before anyone could answer, some fiery things appeared from the lava. "... Well, that was unexpectded." Shepard fired some bullets at them, but to no avail. "Harry! Get some shields up!" Assuming that none of my characters here knew Yuna's name, it's kinda hard to ask her for help.

 

Harry smiled and nodded, changing back to Psychic and cast Excellence and Psychics Guard on everyone. He looked at Vanitas, and said, correcting himself, "My concern is will you be able to see Fang again after she's defeated the fal'Cie? What if this fight completes her Focus? She'll turn into a crystal and go into a eternal sleep. That's my concern."

 

Vanitas had not considered that... at all. "I..." Before he could respond, a voice was heard. "Pain... You're pain, Vanitas. Agony. That is what you are. You cannot run from it!" Vanitas covered his ears, but he could still hear the voice. "Join me. We'll take revenge on the world! It will heave with our torment!" "No... I'll... you're the one who took Hope!" "Correct. You have made you're choice. The offer still stands. But, for now, you must die. If you survive, then you can still accept." "Waste of an offer!" Vanitas retorted. Silence... and then, of course, black dragons appeared. "Xigbar! Get us out of here!" Yelled Shepard. He could actually damage the Dragons. Vanitas then hit an epiphany... or it was something he ate. "Harry! Girl... whatever you're name is... can't you use some ice magic on the Fire Elementals?" He then jumped and slashed at one of the Drakes.

 

Yuna took Harry's hand and changed into Black Mage. While Yuna wore her Black Mage outfit, Harry's outfit more resembled Vivi's a bit with the Sorting Hat on his head and a beautiful staff in his hand. Tapping their staffs together, they cast Blizzara on the Fire Elementals. Harry didn't mean to worry Vanitas the way he did, he was just concern like he had stated before. A familiar voice rang in his ear, "Why so worried? I'm sure they'll be fine." Harry groaned and hit the Sorting Hat lightly and quickly for no one to notice.

 

Xigbar finally changed the scene... which was a big mistake.
Cloud would've recognized it.

"What the..." The Fire Elementals were gone, but not the black drakes. They immediately started to terrorize the townsfolk.
"Where the heck are we?!" Vanitas asked. "I don't know, but these people need help!" Then, of course, more bad guys showed up. Black Dragonspawn, nonetheless. Shepard fired at them whilst Vanitas blocked some strikes and struck back. And Richard? He'd disappeared... proberly gone to eat some babies.

 

Grabbing Yuna as she changed to Gunner, Harry wore a red coat that resembled his school robe with a tattered and torn edge on the bottom. While the coat was open, revealing the black shirt underneath, there was a collar around Harry's neck that covered his mouth. The bottom half of his body had black pants and black boots while his hands were covered in black gloves. Gripped in his hand was a gun similar to Yuna's, only it was a light black. The two began to shoot their guns.

 

Suddenly, the village set fire. Richard showed up with the head of a villager on a stick. "You know, this looks all too familiar..."
Xigbar is about to shape the arena to somewhere else when he is cornered by Black Dragonspawn. "Er... help?"

Orphan was not entirely sure how they were supposed to have branded the 'Darelen' l'Cie, as they were unable to interact with the world physically at all until right now. In addition they weren't sure how he had just leapt over and attacked them from behind, since they hadn't actually left the pool of liquid at all, and probably couldn't either since they had no legs, just a giant blade. Regardless, they ignored that fact, and lashed out with their giant hand, grabbing the one named Darelen and slamming him against the ground harshly,
Lightning ran alongside Snow and Fang, readying her blade, but before she reached Orphan, the fal'Cie hybrid had risen from their position, showing the massive blade that was their main body, before slamming it down over the lot of them, scattering them and knocking them all over, as well as doing a hell-load of damage. This was Merciless Judgement, the strongest move in Orphan's arsenal.
"Damn..." Light said, getting up as quickly as she could. "This isn't easy..."

Darelen had not known that Orphan was standing in a pool of liquid(nor had Aragorns, being on disc 2 of Final Fantasy XIII and all), but he proberly did the whole attack Anime-Style, so no worries.
After being slammed into the ground, he got up and looked to Lightning, who'd also just been pummeled. "We... could try... mass Eidolon spam..."

 

Quickly changing into her Medic role, Vanille healed everyone. Once healed, Snow, Fang, and Vanille looked and nodded, touching their l'Cie brands and summoning their Eidolons. Once the three Eidolons changed into their Gestalt modes, which their l'Cie boarded. Snow smiled, revving Shiva's engine.

Harry and Yuna looked at Xigbar and nodded at each other, standing back to back, they aimed their guns at the Dragonspawn and performed Potshot.

"Alright." Lightning nodded, agreeing with Darelen (despite still not trusting him fully, Orphan did seem to be attacking them all) and bringing out her Eidolith.
"Let's do this together, Odin!" she called, summoning the knight-Eidolon, who mimicked the others by changing straight into his Gestault mode.
"Brynhildr!" Sazh called too, as the same happened with him and his summons, in a flashy scene that DT was too lazy to write out for the third time this RP.
"Alright, let's do it!"

Orphan did not seem remotely imposed by the mass-summoning of Valhallan warriors, instead drawing theirselves from the water again and swinging their blade down at them.

Vanitas' Genesis.​

In the fire of the burning, a figure emerged. He stared Vanitas in the face. Reaching to his side, he pulls out a long red Rapier. Next he imbues magic into it so it glows red. He strikes out against Vanitas who blocks with his Keyblade. The figure slashed side-ways to break the sword lock, throwing Vanitas back in the process.Vanitas gets up, then he teleported and attacked from above. The figure merely blocked and threw Vanitas into the air with his sword. He jumps up and sends some fire-looking balls of power at Vanitas. Vanitas manages to block some, but gets hit by the rest and lands in the ground, creating a large dent in the ground. Landing, the figure goes up to Vanitas and strikes at him vertically, Vanitas lifted his Keyblade to block, this was met by the Rapier. The figure then twirled his sword and Vanitas's Keyblade went flying. Before he could react, the figure impaled him. Taking out the sword, the figure prepared to swipe off his head to finish him... however, he could be countered by two certain dressphere people now...

Darelen summoned his Eidolon. "Khione!" And entered Gestalt mode with the others.

"GAO!" Saber Lion cried out, slamming her blade into that of the figure that had defeated Vanitas, defending the boy from what would surely have been a fatal blow.
For such a small person, the lion-costumed child had incredible strength behind her, causing the attack to be stopped dead in it's tracks, with the girl looking very sure of herself at this point.

 

The figure turned to the little thing, then, unfurled his wing, and flew off. Never to be seen again... until the next arc.
Xigbar finally succeded in getting them back to the l'cie. Shepard rushed over to Vanitas. "It's gonna be alright. You're gonna make it." Blood was running down from Vanitas's mouth.
Shepard did a nod-thanks to the Lion Saber.

 

Harry changed into White Mage with Yuna grabbing him this time. The two, along with Vanille who was still in her Medic role, cast Curaga on Vanitas, Fang gripped herself as she looked at Vanitas' body, almost everyone would be surprised to see that the tough Pulse l'Cie was crying on the back of her Eidolon. Harry and Yuna focused hard as they helped Vanille with healing Vanitas' wound. Snow headed for Orphan and attacked with Shiva, his mind on Serah.

"ARTHUR!" came the insane voice of Berserker-Lancelot, as he closed the distance between them in an instant, his sword, Arondight, flashing red as he swung it towards his king, Arturia, who blocked it reluctantly with her veiled sword.
No, I can't hesitate this time. she thought to herself, pushing the opposing blade away from her.
He may not remember last time, but dying here means Shirou will also...
Lancelot was faster than even her train of thought, lunging at Saber without a second though, obviously intent on striking her down as soon as possible.
Saber's weapon flashed a brilliant white, gathering more and more energy into itself, disspelling the veil of Invisible Air that surrounded it, and revealing it's true form, which shone with an incredible light.
As the Berserker got closer and closer, Saber had already decided what she was doing, raising her blade high above her head, as she yelled her weapon's name, unleashing it's true power.
"EX... CALIBUR!"

Orphan was quickly frozen in position before they had managed to complete a second Merciless Judgement, causing them to be unable to move for just a moment.
That moment, however, turned out to be all that Sazh needed to use Brynhildr's strongest attack, creating a massive tornado of flame around the fal'Cie, rendering it still unable to move. This had the side effect of throwing Sazh out of the moving vehicle, his afro slightly singed, and causing him to fall flat on his face as Byrnhildr came back to his side, now in her knight form once more.

Harry changed into Trainer, which his new outfit remembered him of Hagrid, the giant caretaker combined with a bit of Snow's outfit. He asked the young male hippogriff, aptly named Griff, that appeared to let Vanitas use him as a pillow, which he obeyed. Vanille healed everyone again and fired many bullets on the fal'Cie, then she let Fang attack from Bahamut. Bahamut performed Mega Flare, before Snow used Diamond Dust on Shiva. Fang looked at Vanitas, and thought to herself, 'Please, be okay, Vanitas......'
