~Crossover Cove~

Hermione and Aqua murmured something as Hermione gently glided her hand over the blade of her rapier. The blade was encased with a soft glow and a light water shield, Aqua twirled around as many orbs of white light appeared and hit Sephiroth, her spinning increased and one of her legs began to lift from ground. Hermione ran to Sephiroth, surrounded by some of the orbs and attacked him. Ron grinned and jumped again, lifting his spear over his head and swinging it downward as he fell to the ground.

Alongside Bushy, Scar, and Hades, Gilgamesh sat with them in a beach chair that was obviously golden. With his own sunglasses on Gilgamesh looked up at the battle that was taking place "how flashy" Gilgamesh said, this coming from the flashy golden king

Golden light collecting on the ground between the two combatants, growing brighter and brighter until it eventually shattered, an invisible blade cleaving through Zero Berserker's own, rendering the savage knight unarmed, though still far from defenceless.
As the light dimmed down, the female knight that had been summoned forth landed, bending her knees in a manner that showed how used to this sort of thing her body was, an expert of her craft in many ways.
The two warriors suddenly locked eyes, and while Zero Berserker's expression was impossible to read, Saber's showed all too much.
"You...?!"
An enraged scream filled the hallway as soon as the girl spoke, Berserker running in an arc towards the pair, grabbing hold of a fallen blaster rifle as he did so, and leaping straight over Saber's swing, enabling him to fire at her from above, but also leaving him wide open to her counter attack, as she brought her veiled weapon in an vertical sweep, colliding with his helm and cracking it, along with destroying his latest weapon.
"Stay back, Shirou." She told the boy, making sure to stand directly between Berserker and him, knowing that he would certainly come for her anyway. "This is a battle you mustn't get involved in."

OOC: Team l'Cie seem to have fallen off of the RP, so let's fix that while we're here.

As Lightning and the others approached the end of the corridor, a great set of doors opened, leading to another, followed by yet another. Doorway after doorway opened, before finally they were led to the central chamber of the Death Star, Barthandelus's true throne room.
As the doors slammed shut behind them, it at first seemed completely empty, until a flash of light signaled Dysley's appearance there in the centre of the room, sat upon a golden throne that had a stylised clockwork motif.
"My dead, pitiful l'Cie." he said, smiling darkly at them all. "Have you finally come to end it?"

 

"We've come to end your reign, Dysley!!!" Snow shouted at him, Fang twirled her spear and laid it on her shoulder, "Snow, you got that right. Time to dethrone you and end your short reign of terror, Dsyley." "We will defeat you this time!" Vanille said, Harry and Yuna looked at each other, with a smile, they nodded with the l'Cie. Harry gripped his chest, thinking of Hermione and Ron waiting back at the Saint's Cradle as he gripped the Spiked Rod in his right hand. Yuna gripped her sword as she stared at Dysley.

 

Xigbar, Shepard, Richard and Vanitas nodded. Vanitas then had his team(that's right. He's the boss-man of the none l'cie here) set up a perimiter so that it would just be the l'cie vs the fal'cie. No interventions from Cie'th or anyone. Darelen nodded in response to the other l'cie. "Time for you to meet this maker you're so desperate to summon, bi*beep*!"

Chuckling with evil intent, Dysley stood from his throne and summoned forth two lights, which were quickly revealed to be crystals. On containing Dahj, Sazh's son, and one being the crystal of Serah, the girl that had started this entire thing.
"Life's spark shines on, once freed from it's fleshly shroud."
His familiar, the white owl, flew through the room, landing on a perch behind the throne, as Dysley continued on.
"Dreams, meanwhile, shatter in a flash."
Tapping his staff once, the crystal of Dahj did exactly as he had implied; shattered like glass, falling into shards on the floor.
"Dahj!" Sazh yelled, adult fear suddenly striking him, as he saw his son taken from him so suddenly. But before he had a chance to react, Dysley did the same thing with Serah's crystal; it too smashing and falling to pieces on the ground, as the man himself sat there and grinned.

 

Richard picked up a crystal piece and, being a troll, said the following...
"This stuff is fake."

OOC: short post is short. And Richard is a troll.

 

"Serah!!!!!" Snow shouted at seeing Serah's crystal shattered, with his anger building up, Snow screamed and ran toward Dsyley, ready to punch his light out. Harry recognized the crystal as the sculpture from the Saint's Cradle and almost couldn't believe in those crystals were real people, now gone forever because of Dsyley did with his strange magic. Yuna shook in fear, not trying to imagine what would happen if Tidus was in that state. Fang groaned and gripped her spear, Vanille gripped her rod and thought of Hope and Lockon.

~Above the Ocean; The True One Winged Angel~​

Fate, having changed back to her Assault form, readied Bardiche for attack.
"We're going to have to go all-out on this one, Bardiche."
"Yes, sir."
Meanwhile, Wesker was observing Fate's Device.
"It speaks back to her? Very interesting. Maybe I should acquire one of these 'Devices'."
Wesker then focused his attention to Sephiroth.
"You call yourself a God? You're nothing more than an angel missing a wing. I will show you what it means to be a TRUE GOD!"
Wesker then raised his hand to the sky, an Ancient Belkan Magic Circle appearing below him.
"Allow me to share my dream for this dying planet, Sephiroth. My dream of..."
Wesker's raised arm began to glow with a black aura.
"Complete..."
The Earth began to shake.
"Global..."
A giant black sphere of pure magic energy formed in the sky above Sephiroth. There was so much energy in it, in fact, that it was dripping off of the sphere.
"SATURATION!!!"
Wesker then aimed his arm downwards, the enormous black orb following suit, and heading straight for Sephiroth. If it hit, it would cause a magical explosion of massive proportions.

 

Dysley chuckled yet again, as Snow bounced off of his barrier... yet again. He did so enjoy it when that happened.
Lightning quickly ran to Snow's side and placed her hand on his shoulder reassuringly, looking him in the eyes.
"Think, hero. Where's the real Serah?" she said, refering to the the crystal that even now, Hermione wore to keep safe.
"Hey, listen." Sazh said, showing the chocobo chick to the much larger man, the little bird dancing or something in his palm, trying to get accross what it knew.
"It isn't real. Just fal'Cie smoke and mirrors."
For the first time, Dysley laughed openly at this, apparently enjoying himself thoroughly.
"Men fight men. Men fight beasts. Cocoon wars with Pulse. There can never be an end to such conflict, but Earth's end is imminent. In less than thirty minutes, we'll reach optimal altitude for missile deployment. The Death Star will enter the atmosphere, and ensure complete. Global. Satu-- wait, no, wrong plan. We'll impact the Earth, and destory all of Earth's population. Will you not at least make it quick, and slay Orphan as an act of mercy?"
"Mercy?" Lightning spat increduloulsy. "You mean murder. And Earth won't die. We're not here for that. We came for you."
Letting out a deep sigh of disappointment, Dysley looked... almost sad.
"Such wilfull insolence. How disappointing."
He suddenly rose into the air, higher than before, and spoke once more.
"You prolong the world's suffering, and to what end? Refusing me but condemns another to face your Focus tomorrow. If you truly seek salvation..."
The owl flew towards him at a rapid pace, fusing with him in a beacon of light once again, forming Barthandelus's true form, similar to his previous ones but larger, and even more intimidating.
"...YOU WILL OBEY."

 

Snow gasped and smiled, nodding at Lighting. The crystal he asked Hermione to keep safe in SkyCity, that's where the real Serah was, he stood up and cracked his knuckle, still ready to beat Barthandelus. Fang twirled her spear and stood ready with Vanille, who was holding her binding rod out. Harry gripped the Spiked Rod as he heard Dysley's plan for the Death Star. Thinking of his friends and the others on Earth, Harry sent a silent message to the l'Cie, 'Defeat him.' Yuna looked at the look of anger on Harry's face and gripped her weapon. Snow stood beside the other l'Cie, ready to fight.

 

Darelen had his 'holysh*beep*' face on. Vanitas was wide eyed. Shepard muttered "Reaper wannabe." Xigbar just chuckled. "Oh, goody." And Richard, he stood up to Dysley. "You are NOT the one who will slaughter the world. That's MY job! And I'm the best at what I do!" He then leaned towards the camera. "And I totally stole that line."

Lightning made the first move, running towards Barthandelus and unleashing a flurry of harsh blows, brutalising the fal'Cie's face while the others (presumably) made their moves.
Sazh followed up with a flurry of his own attacks, bullets flying everywhere as he fired.
Even Saber Lion joined in, drawing a small version of Excalibur and attacking alongside Lightning with a loud "GAO!" to emphasize her apparent anger. Though it was debatable whether she knew why she was attacking, or whether it had just looked like fun to her.
"YOU HAVE YET TO UNDERSTAND." Barthandelus yelled out in his half-mechanical voice, throwing a Baptism in Ruin at Snow. "FULFILL YOUR FOCUS, AND RECIEVE ETERNAL LIFE!"

 

Bursting up from the ground in a stream of petals, a scythe cleaved through the air. It narrowly missed impaling lightning through her skull and left a small cut on her nose instead. The wielder of said deadly weapon was dressed in a long black coat, with luscious pink hair and a grin on his face. As he stepped next to the fal'cie, his appearance could only be described as two things. Evil, and flamboyantly homosexual. In either case, the side he was on was clear.

 

OOC: PLOT TWIST!!!
Xigbar was shocked to find Marluxia on the fal'cie's side. "Dude, I never knew you were into men with multiple heads!" He then teleported to the roof... so he was upside down. He started firing a flurry of bullets at Marluxia.

Darelen went into Commando Role and cast ruin against the Fal'cie before following up with a flurry of attacks. Then he had to dodge a scythe and some petals.

 

Snow had switched into his Sentinel role and cast Steelguard on himself to lessen the damage received by the attack. Harry and Vanille, who had changed into her Medic role, healed his wound and Snow changed into his Commando role, he shouted, "Here it comes, Barthandelus!!!!!" He leaped high in the air and brought his fist onto the fal'Cie. Fang had also changed into her Commando role and smiled, "Ready for this?!" Fang also jumped in the air, bringing her spear onto Barthandelus as the energy around her exploding on him, furthering the damage to him. Vanille changed to her Saboteur role and cast Slow, Curse, and Posion on him.

 

Spinning and striking his scythe stylishly, Marluxia deflected most of the bullets back at Xigbar, the occasional shot slipped through and hit him, but not enough to do serious damage. When the freeshooter stopped firing to reload, Marluxia sent out a rather large wave of petals at him, and stopped in the stance after a slash, flourishing the weapon.

Taking a fist to the face seemed to not be enjoyed by Barthandelus, as at that point he let out a loud roar and reeled back, charging a high-level spell in his entire body in revenge.
Just a few seconds later, the entire party felt the power of Ultima, a non-elemental powerhouse of a spell, that Hope would also have found similar to his strongest move, had he stuck around for the fight against Barthandelus.
Having taken a scratch from Marluxia, Lightning quickly switched to Medic in order to heal herself, and quickly tossed some Cures and Curas to her allies also, before retaking Ravager role and throwing a flurry of Thunder, Thundara, and Thundaga at the fal'Cie, causing him to back off for a moment, which Sazh took as his cue to change to Synergist and cast as many buffs as he could on the others, including embueing their normal attacks with their prefered element.

 

Changing to his Ravager role, Snow cast a flurry of Blizzard, Blizzara, and Blizzaga as well some Water, Watera, and Wateraga in the mix. Fang stayed in Commando and used Ruinaga on Barthandelus. In a attempt to help, Harry used Cura on the l'Cie and figured to stay out of the fight between Xigbar and Marluxia, that was between them, he shouldn't interfere.

 

Link had a strange feeling that something evil was coming. He thought it would be a good idea to ask Fi if she could sense anything.
"I suggest we take Samus' ship to the Space Station outside Earth's atmosphere." Fi said.
"what do you say samus?" Link asked the bounty hunter.
Samus nodded. She called her ship and told everyone to board. It was a little cramped, but at least they where gonna get somewhere. She started the ship as soon as everyone (Except Marth and Ike who chose to stay behind with Zelda) got on. They traveled to the Death Star two and Managed to make their way in.


Upon entering, Link and his group sneaked around. Eventually, they made their way to the room where Marluxia and Xigbar where fighting. "Hey isn't that Marluxia?" Link asked. He had breifly seen the Nobody in castle oblivion.
"Indeed." Lucario said. He immedieatley ran towards Marluxia's fight. "Watch the Power of Aura!" he yelled. Lucario gathered power and let his aura fly towards the field."HYAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"
