"The ship does not matter!" the Arbiter protested. "If the Berserker hadn't taken it over, it would have been irrepairable anyway. Survival is the priority here."

The Reaper's horn sounded again as it fought against the Hydra, which had suddenly appeared out of nowhere somehow. Nevertheless, the Hyrda was just trying to bite metal, and so it could do very little against it as the Reaper carved it's laser straight through the slow-moving torso of the creature, if not killing it, at least disabling it.
The explosions too, were too small to do anything of significance to it's shell, as it began to lower it's aim at the Normandy...

"Thel's right, there's no point in saving a ship that's beyond repair."
Siegfried nodded in agreement.
"Edward is right. Those beasts are too much for just the six of us. We'd best be on our way."

Finally stirring, Dearche looked up to see Gilgamesh, and glared for a moment.
"What would you know." she stated, bitterly. "You're alone. You always are. How long have you ever had somebody stand with you?"
She paused, before standing and wiping her eyes with one hand, her expression changing to something more neutral.
"No. Acting like this won't bring them back. I realise that now. ...thank you. Well then, 'King of Heroes', will you be joining us for the finale? I intend to finish what I started now."

"Deadpool." Jail suddenly summoned, with no warning whatsoever. "I believe our friends have encountered some trouble. You have experience fighting Berserker first-hand, and everyone else is needed to fight U-D. Perhaps you would care to join me?"
It was obvious to what he was refering, as one every screen around the room were images of the Reaper Destroyer.

"Yes, I'm alright but... Lily..."
He turned and looked to Fate, nodding as she suggested they go back to Jail's ship.
"Yeah... let's go. Maybe he can help Lily..."

"Alright then, les do it." Sazh said, clambering into the cockpit of the ship as the other two boarded behind him. The door closed, sealing them in, as he ignited the engines and lifted them off, heading up and towards skyline, before they suddenly were almost blinded by light as the Death Star exploded above them.
"The hell was that?" Lightning said, as they all looked up at it. "It's... completely gone..."
"I'm still picking up something though. A powerful energy signature coming from over the ocean. It's... it's the same ship from before..."

"I would behead you for saying such things" Gilgamesh said. Despite the distasteful tone in his voice he still had a smirk on his face "but I shall forgive you. I've known how it feels to lose your most trusted companion. A companion that stood by your side and could never be replaced. I know you pain and for that I shall forgive you" Gilgamesh said as he closed his eyes. "and In respect for the loyalty of your retainers I shall assist you in this finale" Gilgamesh said

"That was anticlimactic." Sephiroth remarked. Hades ain't even mad, he took the cigar out of his mouth and flicked it out the window. "Patience Captain Buzzkill, the fight has only begun."

Back over the ocean the Hydra had been split in two by the Reaper's laser, the two halves of the creature fell down on the ship. The Reaper had taken it's attention away from the Hydra as it began to jerk and pulsate, eventually forming two new Hydras that bit into the legs of the machine. The were big enough to annoy the Reaper at the very least, and were attempting to stay out of it's laser's range.

Melvin immediately blurted out his vote, "Blow the whole damn ship up, yep, that'll work." Mustang weighed the options for a moment, but decided that if the ship wasn't important enough to keep, destroying it along with the creatures onboard was the best choice. "Yeah, as much as it kills me inside I'll agree with spiky. Let's blow it up."

Deadpool didn't notice he had been transported at first. It seemed that he was watching a video of some sort on a 3DS he apparently had.
"No! Doctor! I don't want you to go either!" He yelled, squatting on the ground with his face glued to the screen.
Unfortunately for him, his battery died right then.
"Nooooooooooo!" He yelled, his voice mimicking that of a heavy-breathing Sith.
He then noticed Jail in front of him.
"waitwut?"
Then came the offer to go after the Berserker.
"Oh, you mean that jackass that killed my apparently fake co-mercs? Hell yeah, I'll join you." He said, hopping up to a standing position.

~The Sky~

Fate gave a sigh of relief when Thoma agreed to go with them. She turned in the direction of Doom's fortress, knowing he was watching, and gave a thumbs up.
Doom, who was looking out the window, nodded before contacting Jail once more.
"Dr. Scaglietti, Fate has acquired Avenir. They are ready to return."

~SR2 Normandy~

Eddie clapped his hands and rubbed them together, ready to get the hell out of that ship.
"Then it's settled. Shepard, we're outta here."

"That kind of physical attack would do little, but I appreciate the gesture." Dearche replied, as she made her way back to the main room of the ship.
"Jail, I-"
"Yes, right away." Jail cut her off, beaming Thoma, Fate, and Subaru straight into the ship beside them.
"Dearche, good to see you back on your feet. You're in charge now. Bye~!"
And with that, he and Deadpool warped straight out, into the ship where Berserker still was.

The unlikely pair were warped to the bridge, which was eirily empty except for the scattered remains of various Sanghieli, most of them soldiers. Even they were few in number, and most of them seemed to have been dealt with via a single stab with an energy weapon of some kind.
"Well then here we are, Wilson. I do hope you're ready for a fight."
As he spoke, he equiped himself with a bladed gauntlet that appeared to be designed for physical combat at first glance. He grinned at Deadpool as he walked down the corridor, presumably followed by the mercenary.

Though no damage was being done so far, the two hydras were nonetheless holding the Reaper down, causing it to have more difficulty aiming than it had any right doing, missing absolutely everything. On top of that, it didn't seem to be able to aim any lower, granting the hydra almost complete safety at it's current angle of attack.

"You underestimate me, Jaily-boy." Deadpool said, taking out a pistol in one hand and a katana in the other.
"I'm always ready for a fight."
The bits and pieces of fallen Sanghieli didn't phase Deadpool. In fact, he could have sworn he's seen some of these body parts in a video game he's played before. He quickly shrugged it off.
A horn-like sound could be heard in the distance, along with explosions and a reptilian roar.
"Sounds like there's more than just the Berserker on this ship. Oh, well. More jerks in the way means more killing for Wade."

~The Saint's Cradle~

Now in the Cradle, Fate searched for Jail.
"Dr. Scaglietti? Are you still here?" She called, getting no answer.
Dearche stood off in the back of the room.
"I'm, uh...I'm sorry for...your loss." Fate said to her, feeling obligated to feel bad for the loss of Stern and Levi.

"Indeed, that is the case." Jail told his companion as they continued onwards. "It's called a Reaper, specifically a Destroyer-class. They're supposed to be a myth, but evidently this one is not."
He quickly raised his comm and contacted somebody.
"Nove, where did you end up?" he asked, before the girl responded.
"I'm just outside the main control room, in the centre of the ship." she answered through her own comm. "There's sounds coming from in there. I think we've found the Berserker."
"Then we're headed there now." he said, before cutting the link.
"Did I forget to mention one of my daughters was coming along?" he said, smirking slightly.

"Scaglietti's away on a mission now." Dearche answered, ignoring Fate's attempts to comfort her. "This is my opperation, for the time being."

"Daughter, eh? No complaints here. 'specially if she's hawt" Deadpool said, spinning his pistol on his finger.
His urge to shoot stuff was rising, and he really wanted to see what this Reaper thing could do.
"Man, oh man. When we see that Reaper thingy, I'mma kick his ass back into being a myth!"

~The Saint's Cradle~
Fate nodded when Dearche said she was in command.
"We have Thoma, as you can see. Now that we've got who we need, what's our next step?"

 

Shepard started the engines. "I suggest you buckle up!" He then launched the Normandy - with EDI's help - and turned it around. "Right, now everyone get to a weapon battery! Concentrate fire on that ship! Don't worry about calibrating it, that's Garrus's job! EDI! Get the targeting systems online. Oh and fire the main battery!" "Firing main battery." A giant laser ripped through the ship, but it'd need help before it destroyed the whole thing. Then EDI interrupted. "Shepard, I'm detecting lifeforms on the ship, bringing up a screenshot now." Shepard gasped. "Jail? Nove? Deadpool?" Before he could get an answer he stopped the main battery and yelled. "DON'T FIRE! Jail's on that ship! We have to go back and get him!"

Deadpool was whistling along next to Jail, when the sounds of more explosions were heard in the distance.
"Sounds like somethin' big is goin' on somewhere." Deadpool said before yawning.
"I hope it's something worth it, because these rotting alien carcasses are starting to smell."

"The Reaper isn't our objective. It's theirs now." Jail explained, casually ignoring the comment about Nove being hot.
As the explosions continued to sound, the pair finally approached the door to the central control room, where Nove was waiting for them.
"Doctor. And that's Deadpool?" she asked, as they approached, having actually met Deadpool properly yet.
"Indeed. Wade will be accompanying us."
"Another blade between us and Berserker? I'm okay with that."
Jail approached the door, unlocking it with a flick of his wrist, and opening it slowly to reveal the control room.All throughout the room were projected interfaces, consoles made of hard light, with long, black wires directly connected to them. In the centre of the room was their target, stood there, with the black wires sprouted from his back, controlling the ship through those.
"You're up, Deadpool." Jail whispered, hoping the merc could catch him by surprise.

Unable to dodge because of the Hydra, the Reaper wound up having to use the full power of it's barrier to defend itself against the Thanix cannons of the Normandy, managing to focus it enough to protect itself from 90% of the damage that would have been done, but still leaving itself with a small crater in it's upper body. In retaliation it fired back, attempting to take down the ship, but unable to hit the much faster vessel it wound up firing blindly into the air.

"Be careful!" the Arbiter protested from beside Shepard. "If that thing detonates, it could take out the ship with them on it!"

"What do you think?" she asked Fate in return, before addressing the entire crew(?) of the ship. "It's time to target U-D herself!"
"Wait, please." Thoma said, walking nearer to the front of the ship. "My friend, Lily, she's fainted inside me. I... don't know how to help her."
"Inside you? Like a Unison Device? But that doesn't seem exactly right..." she mused for a moment, before declaring;
"Very well. Repeat after me 'React off'."
"Um, alright." he said, unsure of what was going to happen. "React off."
Almost at once, Lily disengaged from his body, forming again in front of them both, but leaving Thoma still in complete control of himself.
"Lily!"
"Come on, back off, let me get to her." Dearche said, crouching down beside the girl. "Yes, as I thought; she's similar to a Unison Device, but of a different specialisation. Designed to keep that omnicidal drive of yours in check. Although I think she might have taken the self-defence protocols into herself, meaning she would be able to completely override what you targeted, if need be. I doubt she would now though, you're fine."
"So what's wrong with her?"
"She's never reacted with anyone before. Not successfully anyway. She's exhausted. Let her have a short rest while the others fight, and then join them together when she wakes.
"And on that note, we're approaching U-D now. Everyone, take your cartridges from that box on the table over there, and move out!"

"So they've come again." U-D said to herself quietly, as the Saint's Cradle slowly approached from the distance. "System is currently at 14%. This battle cannot be won by any of you..."

A dark smile could be seen through Deadpool's mask when Jail let him off the leash.
"My pleasure." Deadpool said, keeping quiet.
The mercenary used his skills to sneak up to the wires that were connected to the Berserker.
When he reached the wires, he used the Katana he was holding and cut all of the wires with one large strike.
"Ya like that, big boy!?" Deadpool yelled, doing a little dance.

~The Saint's Cradle~
Fate nodded to Dearche, going and taking her cartridge as she was told. She already had cartridges of her own, but any extra power helped.
Next up was Naruto, who had never seen such technology before. Taking a single cartridge from the case, Naruto looked confused.
"How...?" It then slipped out of his hand, falling to the floor and breaking. Just then, it's magical properties merged with Naruto.
Almost immediately, he felt as if he had a newfound power.
"Whoa...Hey, if you want these to work, you gotta break them!"
Fate then cut in.
"Wait! You only do that if you do not have have a weapon! If you do have a weapon, such as a gun or a device like mine, just place the cartridge into the ammunition compartment."
"Oh...Uh, right."
After the explanation ended, the rest of ÃeađρooᏝ's characters took their cartridges, including Wesker and Dr. Doom who had just entered the Cradle, applied them in the appropriate ways.
Dr. Doom looked to Sonic.
"The armor I designed for you broke off during your fit of rage. How will you fly now without your dark form?"
"No worries, Vic. I've got other ways." Sonic said before revealing his golden Super form to Dr. Doom.
"Ready when you are, Dr. Doom." Super Sonic said, hovering slightly above the ground.
Dr. Doom laughed.
"Luke! Get your cartridge and ready yourself for battle. This ends today."
Meanwhile, the duo of Reploids readied themselves for battle. Knowing they couldn't fly, the decided to go to the top of the ship.
"Listen up! If you can't fly, come with me and Zero to the top of the ship! we can fight from there." X announced.

The ship was approaching U-D rapidly, the battle was beginning and the final preparations were being made by Earth's protecters. Kaiba, Ciel, Sebastian, William, and those who planned on using Kaiba's ship left through the portal Saix had provided and manned all battle stations.
Kaiba took his position at the helm and grabbed hold of the controls. "Alright you bunch of freaks, let's give her hell." Ciel sat down in the navigation and defense chair beside Kaiba and put a radio in his ear, "Heading locked in, shields are at full power."
"Prepare for takeoff then. William, engage primary thrusters!" William did as commanded and the ship's engines began to bellow as smoke poured out of them. "When I became and expertise in engine functions would be a time I'd like someone to remind me of." Ciel motioned for him to zip it, "Just press random buttons, seems to work just fine."
Kaiba began pulling the ship away from the Saint's Cradle and directed full power to the thrusters, propelling the ship around U-D in a huge arc, coming around on the other side the girl was surrounded. "Sebastian, prepare tea. Whether or not we defeat her or die is of no consequence, I want to enjoy this."

Back on the Cradel, Scar remained in his lion form and put a cartridge in his assault rifle. "Now we've got some power here! Course there's the matter of aim..Eh, scattershot time." Saix and Grell followed by putting the cartridges in their Claymore and Chainsaw respectively. "Ready, very willing, and my body is ready kitty, let's kick some little girl's ass." Grell licked his teeth as Saix attempted to ignore him, "The planet is going to protected by the most convoluted team ever. Damn my inability to laugh at this."
"I'm sure we'll get one out of you eventually, but save it for after we've killed psycho bitch." Scar sneered at Dearche as he led Saix and Grell to the elevator, "I'll be back for that book darling, count on it." The elevator closed and took them to the top deck of the ship, the three walked out and looked straight ahead and up into the sky. "Ello beauty."

Up in space the Empire had completed it's perimeter of Starships around the planet, Darth Vader and General Grievous' Super Star Destroyer hovered outside the atmosphere above the ocean where the battle against U-D was about to begin. Vader crossed his arms as he looked at the screen they'd brought up, "From so many different walks of life, all come together with the same goal: To protect the planet they inhabit. It's poetic General." Grievous coughed and stood next to the Sith Lord, "Quite, but no matter what these ingrates do it won't change the fact their planet will be destroyed. If not by us, if not by the next foe who rises against the masses, someone will succeed and plunge the world into darkness. They are only prolonging the inevitable."

"How right you are, General." A familiar voice shot down Vader's spine from the other end of the bridge, "You can take that foreshowing bit to the bank, because it won't be you who destroys this world." Walking down the path toward the two who were in complete shock was Sephiroth, blade fastened around his waist. "I am the God of this world, I'll decide it's fate. I've already decided yours, would you like to hear it?"
Vader and Grievous ignited their sabers and pointed them at Sephiroth, "You said you wouldn't get involved!"
"I lied. Funny how that works." He removed his sword and slashed it out toward his side, "Kneel before your ruler, or I'll remove your legs. You won't have a choice then."
"Not much of a choice really, at least with this approach I'll have died living." Grievous spun his sabers wildly and charged at Sephiroth, sparks flew in every direction as he bashed them against the railings. Sephiroth brought his blade down on Grievous' four, they locked eyes as the General snarled, "Such a pitty. I could have used you. Instead you'll rot in hell with the rest of those who stand in my way." Overpowering the General's strength, Sephiroth flung him back into the wall. His impact left an indent as he fell to the ground and dropped his sabers. "Now Vader, would you rather I finish him now or kill you?-" Sephiroth was flung back across the room by a powerful blast of force energy. "What? Couldn't quite catch that. Speak up son, I'm getting on in the years." Grievous got to one of his knees and coughed violently, "Idiot." Vader nodded as Sephiroth got back to his feet, "Well well, I suppose I deserve that for not treating you with enough respect, Sith Lord." His wing burst out of his back as he lunged forward with immense speed and speared his sword through Vader's chest. "I won't be making that mistake again."

The room was suddenly filled with the muffled scream of Zero Berserker, and he launched from his position instantly and landed straight on Deadpool, drawing one of his katanas and then leaping at Dr. Scaglietti, swinging the blade down in an arc at him.
At the last possible second, Nove stepped in and blocked the swing with her weapon hand, her weapon being a gauntlet like Subaru's, and threw a punch directly at him, knocking the Servant back slightly. Without stopping for more than a second, it rolled around and grabbed ahold of a plasma rifle that had been dropped by a Sanghieli when he died during Starkiller's raid on the ship, and instantly began firing it at Deadpool with renewed aggression.

Annoyed as she was at the fact, Dearche knew that she couldn't join the battle until it was almost finished.
"You!" she said, pointing towards Vivio. "You're a close-ranged specialist, correct? I want you up-close in the battle, keeping the pressure on U-D as much as you can without getting harmed. Stark, I want you to go with her. Your abilities would be a good support for the Sankt Kaiser here."

"Reinforce," she acknowledged, as she and her group entered the main room of the ship. "Read up on what's happened on one of the screen and then I want you supporting Vivio Takamachi here. You're formidible in both close-range and long-range, so it's your desicion what you stick to. Just keep her, and everyone else, safe. I'm not losing anyone else to U-D today."
"Very well, I will." she said, before turning to her companions, mostly consisting of Rosario Vampire characters.
"It seems we will not be together in the battle, so do your best, and I will do mine. Farewell."

As the ship, and several others, began approaching her, U-D realised just how many she would be up against, and spread her wings in readiness, preparing to fire a long barrage of shots at anyone that got any closer.
"So they're attacking all at once...?" she said quietly to herself. "A unison of the strongest people from across the planet. But so many worlds have done the same thing. It's still all useless."

A long, hollow laughter echoed through the Super Star Destroyer, as a throne shimmered into existance there on the bridge, and then Dysley himself appeared the same way on that.
"So you are the Soldier 1st class that went rogue so long ago, are you?" he mused, looking over the damage he was doing with a chuckle. "Quite formidible, aren't you? Even as you are, almost as strong as my l'Cie and the general."
He laughed again as he rested his head on one hand, looking over at Vader as he smiled.
"But I wonder if you know of l'Cie. When they face severe emotion doubts, their guardian entity, an Eidolon capable of razing armies, comes forth, either destroying them or submitting to their strength, depending on the capacity of the l'Cie in question." he explained, before he stood.
"Do you even know what cost your power came with, Darth? If a l'Cie completes their Focus, they become crystal until they are needed again, in which case they are given a new Focus to complete, with the same time limit."
He grinned. This was his favourite part.
"But when a l'Cie fails his Focus, or takes too long to complete it, they become Cie'th, a husk that can do nothing but look back on their failings and despair, maddening with grief in only moments, and existing forever as simple cannon fodder, flailing around uselessly at anything that nears them.
"So, Vader. I direct you to defeat this Soldier alone. Should you succeed, you will crystalize and recieve eternal life as my servant. Should you fail, your time in my service is at an end. Do put on a good show for me."

 

Joker, Jafar, Roxas and Xion had gone in Kaiba's ship whilst Cloud and Darion followed behind in Acherus.
"Acherus to Kaiba, do you read? We have a clear shot of U-D. Will fire on signal." Joker clapped. "How come this is ever-so-similar to starwars?"
Just to add to the atmosphere, some music started playing randomly.

Jafar put up the shields. "Shields at maximum capacity." Acherus then released it's prototype ships, that looked like wrecked X-wings which were coloured black, purple and turquoise. Joker then yelled at them via com-link. "LOCK S-FOILS ATTACK POSITION! GET UP THE TARGETING COMPUTERS! WATCH FOR AN OPENING!" Roxas and Xion just looked confused. Joker then pointed to them anime-style. "Get on the turrets!" They did as they were told. In one of the Ebon-wings was Cloud. "Ebon squadron! Call in!" "Ebon leader standing by." "Ebon 1 standing by." "Ebon 2 standing by." "Ebon 3 standing by." "Ebon 4 standing by." "Ebon 5 standing by." "Gold Squadron call in!" "Gold leader standing by." "Gold 1 standing by." "Gold 2 standing by." "Gold 3 standing by." "Gold 4 standing by." The last one to call was Cloud. "Gold 5 standing by." Before they'd left, all of my characters had taken a supply of Cartridges, and that's what powered the Ebon-wings... so they have a good chance against U-D.

Meanwhile, Shepard was wondering what to do. "I know that, Thel... Some of us will have to go in there and help them. Then, those lot will get them out of there. THEN we'll blow this ship to hell."

The rest of my characters got catridges, loaded them, and prepared for the final battle.

After the Berserker had landed on Deadpool, the merc was pissed.
"Okay...I can forgive killing my comrades 'cuz they were fake. But when you act like an A-hole and stomp on the real on, THAT'S when I get mad!"
It was at that moment that Nove had pushed the Berserker back. The beast then took up a plasma rifle from a fallen Sanghieli and opened fire on Deadpool. The mercenary did the one thing he knew he had to do.
Taking out both Katana, he began to swing them about, deflecting the Plasma Rifle rounds Jedi-style. "You can't touch this!" Deadpool yelled as he grew closer to the Berserker.

~The Saint's Cradle~
His mask opened, Tony acknowledged what he had to do alongside Vivio.
"Looks like this is it. The last battle. You ready, Viv?" The Iron Man said, smiling at his companion.
Meanwhile, Sonic, who was still sustaining his Super form, flew over to Reinforce and listened in on Dearche's orders to her.
"Mind if I lend a hand with that?" The golden hedgehog asked, a smirk on his face.
"Whaddaya say, Rein? One last Unison? We'd be able to protect them better if we did."

~Atop the Saint's Cradle~
Mega Man X, Zero, Naruto, and Ryu gathered at the top of the Saint's Cradle.
"So this is it. It's do or die."
"Looks like it. You guys ready?"
"Ready."
"Affirmative."
"Armed for battle!"
"Alright, let's do this!" The four said in unison.

 

Link and his friends had used the last of Zelda's magic to teleport to Jail's ship. "So is this where the fight is?"
"Seems like it, Link" Katniss replied.
"Alright then... Katniss, you and Ed are with me and Fi." he said. "Lucario, you're with Marth, Ike and the princess."

The groups split up and went their seperate ways. "Call us when you find something Lucario." Link said as they left.

As Deadpool continued to approach, Berserker took note that he hadn't seemed to realise that the plasma fire was molten, and thus melting through the katana more with every shot. Nevertheless, he would get to him before that happened, and so he took a leap backwards, grabbing another weapon from the ground and brandishing it before himself as the blade ignited; an energy sword. Wielding it and the stolen katana, he rushed at Deadpool, swinging the blades with expert precision even in his maddened state.

"Then I'll go." Thel said, turning and stepping towards the airlock to their left. "It is of Sanghieli design; I have the best chance of getting there in time to help them."

Reinforce nodded, smiling slightly at Sonic as he suggested Unison.
"Yes, that would be best. I'm not able to fight alone as well I used to, due to my condition."
