Golden dust began to form inside the ship and started to form together and took the form of the golden king. Closing his eyes Gilgamesh crossed him arms calmly and leaned against a wall "hmph a gathering of the masses. Let us see if you all can end this threat" Gilgamesh said calmly

 

Lily Strosek

"Thank you..." Was the last thing Lily had said before teleporting over to Thoma's position.

As Lily was falling, her bracelet spoke. "COMMENCING DIRECT CONNECTION. LINKAGE SYSTEM ACTIVATED."​

Lily then reached out, towards Thoma. "Thoma! It's me, Lily!" She had grabbed a hold of him, hoping that he'd respond and recognize her.




OOC: This new update makes it really frustrating for an iPod user (myself) to post. ​

Dearche was mostly unresponsive as the pair took her to her room, and once they got there, she simply sat on the bed, and continued to be unresponsive.

"Foreign element detected." the Bible said suddenly, responding to Strosek's presence. "Threat: defend body."
His eyes were blank by the time he raised his blade and slashed at the girl with the broken blade, cutting her across the chest without so much as a second thought.

 

Lily Strosek​

Tears started flowing in Lily's eyes, blood spurting out of her mouth. "I can not change my fate. I must go through with this." She gasped for air. "Silver Cross, STOP!" She looked into Thoma's eyes, hoping he'd recognize her. "Thoma...? Thoma?!"​

"L-Lily...?" Thoma managed, his eyes regaining something, though still crimson, and crosshaired.
"Is it really...?"

 

Lily Strosek​

"Yes, it's me." Lily let out a smile, despite the pain she was in. "Thoma, I'm sorry, I've finally remembered. You're my driver; the holder of a "Strosek", the plug for the Silver Cross." She coughed up some blood. "You are not going to die, nor do you have to kill anyone, anymore" Lily's cute face turned serious. "Even if it's just this once, I'll definitely find a way to save you!~" She smiled once more, and then she raised her arm. "REACTOR DRIVE!" Her current clothes disappeared, she was completely naked. But only for a brief three seconds. She then reappeared with new clothes on, it she was wearing her Engage Suit. "You'll be okay, Thoma. REACTOR ENGAGE." And with that, she disappeared into the inside of Thoma's body. Inside, Lily grabbed Silver Cross. "Silver Cross, terminate self-defense mechanism. Switch over to Strosek active control. Return sight and hearing to normal." And with that, Thoma's sight and hearing returned to normal. "Zero Drive, commence emergency termination. Release all armaments. Active antigens." Lily smiled, she knew that she saved Thoma. "I'll save you from Exclips-" She had fainted.​

Scar retained his grrr face as he stared into empty space after Dearche completely ignored him and walked off with the robot guys. ".....Yep, she's dead."
Kaiba wagged his finger, "Scar, we apparently need her with Tome in tow to defeat U-D. You can't kill her." Scar rolled his eyes and growled, "When I'm king she'll be the first die." He walked back to the table in the other room with Saix and Sebastian. "Sebastian, pour me something heavy."
"As you wish my lor-..ahem, sir." Sebastian poured Scar a heavy cup of tea and recalled his past endeavorers with the lion. While his bond to Ciel was strong in their earlier years together, that bond wasn't very strong ever since he became a demon. Sebastian was bound for eternity to serve Ciel as his butler due to their contract, but a possible loophole presented itself.
"Scar." He whispered as he added sugar to to the tea, "Jafar's lamp, where is it?" Scar perked his eyebrow coyly, "Hm..why I do believe I have it on me, in fact I'm the one who rubbed this lamp some time ago. Why do you ask." He could see Sebastian's answer in his eyes and nodded, "When the time comes, indeed butler."

Everything about Thoma was changing back to normal, starting with sight and hearing, and finishing with general appearance; his black armour-clad form being replaced with the white coat he wore before. But as his hair too reset back to normal, Lily's voice grew quiet.
"Lily? Are you alright? Lily?!"

"Calm down, Avenir." Jail's voice spoke over the comm system, which Thoma was somehow wired into despite his rampaging. "She's only fainted. Head back here, and we'll do what we can for you both."

Jail smiled to himself, before turning to the room and speaking up to them.
"Ladies and gentlemen. We have Avenir."

In the back of the room behind the pile of characters, Deadpool held a large boom box up and pressed the play button, and played a short victory jingle in celebration of their acquisition of Thoma.
"Man, that took a while." Deadpool said, hopping on the head of one of the characters and squatting there.
"Say, Jail. Now that we got this Thoma kid, does this mean we're goin' fer U-D?"
When Deadpool mentioned U-D, Naruto turned and looked at him. He had been in not-Antarctica the entire time he had been in this new world. The only threat he knew of was the Empire.
"U-D? What's U-D?"
Deadpool burst out laughing, enough to even fall off of the character he was sitting on. After getting up and walking over to Naruto, he finally stopped laughing.
"Where'v you been, kid? U-D's the thing that, if we fail, is gonna kill us all!" Deadpool explained, an obvious smile shaping behind his mask.
"In fact, that little blue dude right there is the reason we made it past her alive. Way to go, pal o' mine!" Deadpool exclaimed, referring to Sonic's show of power from before.
"How long has this fight with U-D or whatever been going on? It can't have been that long if I hadn't heard of it..."
"Pfft, dude we've been fighting this thing for DAYS now! Maybe even a week or two!"

~Dearche's Room~
"Is she responding?" Zero asked.
"No, she's just been sitting there since we brought her here." X responded.
"At least she's okay in here. Dr. Scaglietti just informed everyone that their objective has been acquired. Meaning that we're one step closer to defeating the "Unbreakable Dark"."
"Alright, then let's get back out there. Dearche, if you can hear me: We'll be back." X said before following Zero out into the room with everyone else.

~Dr. Doom's Flying Fortress~
Fate could see the events taking place outside, seeing that they had calmed Thoma down.
"It looks like they've already finished the plan. Dr. Doom, can you contact Jail?" Fate asked.
"Certainly." Doom responded, doing just that.
"Dr. Scaglietti, I see you've acquired Thoma. What is the plan now?"

"Yes. Shepard's group will have to deploy at the same time, or else we're going to be attacked from both sides." Jail answered, pacing his hall as he answered Dr. Doom's call.
"We will, however, need a diversion team. Thoma Avenir will be our main aggressor, of course, but once we get close U-D is going to start creating Dark Pieces again, and we have to be prepared for that. We're all going to have to be on this if we want to win."

"Diversion you say?" Scar walked back into the room in with the others, holding Jafar's lamp. "Why I do believe I hold the perfect diversion. Jafar might be too busy surfing the internet, but he'll listen if I command him with this lamp." He rubbed it and roared for Jafar to get into the monitor room. "I'll use the genie to fix Kaiba's ship, both of us and the rest of the diversion team will fly in after U-D first. While I can't use the genie to outright killer her, he'll be enough to protect our ships from catastrophic damage." Sebastian and Saix walked in after Scar, "We'll volunteer for the diversion team."
Mustang spoke up, "I'll go with Shepard's group." Melvin and Grell popped up behind him, "Following the Colonel here until the bitter end, I expect chicken when this over."
"Are we on the attacking team? I'm good for a killing spree, my scythe has grown weary from lack of blood shed."
William nodded to go with Scar's diversion team, Ciel and Mizore stood beside Jail. "I must wait for my present master's plan of action, so I'll remain with you." The demon child said as he finished his tea. Mizore rocked her head back and forth, "The ship could need more ice if it melts, so I'll stay with you. I can watch everyone on these screens."

"It's not a particularly massive ship, so with the six of you, you will be plentiful." Jail said, nodding at the group. "Shepard, Arbiter, the rockstar, Siegfried, Mustang, Melvin. I wish you luck. Bye~!"
With that, he slammed down on the controls, warping the six to their destination; the Sanghieli ship's hangar bay.
"And with that done, we can head towards the Unbreakable Dark, and finally put an end to this. Have the team out there bring Avenir back here, and we'll have him lead the assault."

"The Rockstar? My name's Ed-" He was cut off by the teleportation.
"-die. Dammit..." Eddie looked around at the ship.
"So this is your ship then right, Thel? Pretty impressive."
"Amazing, the technology of this world is like nothing I have ever seen..."
"That aside; Shepard, you take the lead." Siegfried said, awaiting Shepard's first move.

~The Flying Fortress~

"Understood. Ms. Testarossa, are you ready to move?"
"Yes. I will go help get Thoma to Jail." Fate said, flying out of the Fortress and over to Thoma.
When she got out there, she noticed Lily, who was still passed out.
"Thoma, it's me, Fate. Can you come with me, please?" Fate said, extending her hand to him.
"I will make sure that your friend gets to safety, too."

 

Joker looked at the new posting system. "...Daaaayyym that's extremely familiar to Coloholics." Without explaining, he then put his hand up. "I'll go with the diversion team! Xion, Roxas, you guys come with me as well!" They nodded, without thinking first. Cloud and Darion also volunteered. [COLOR="Medium turquoise"]"I'll follow behind Kaiba's ship in Acherus with my Death Knights." Jafar wasn't too happy. "... Fine. I can't find a plug for my laptop anyway." He summoned Kaiba's ship, all shiny and everything. The rest of Aragorns characters decided to stay behind as a reserved force.

Shepard then revealed his plan. "Right, here's the plan. Three of us take one way to the SR-2, whilst the other team take a different way. I'll lead team A, Melvin, you take team B. Now, we'll pick teams. Siegfried, Thel, you're with me. Eddie and the other guy will go with Melvin. Any questions?"

The Doctor felt so proud. Lily had done it without any violence at all. "And that is how it's done. I'll work on a way to get her out/wake her up."

Before anyone else could speak, Eddie stepped up to say something.
"Whoa, whoa, there Shepard. I thought our mission was to find that Berserker thing. And if it's as strong as everyone else made it out to be, we'd better stick together." Eddie said, hoping Shepard would reconsider splitting them up.
"Edward is right. If the Berserker is an all powerful beast, we will need to stay in one group. We will need all of our combined abilities if we hope to best it."

 

Shepard realised he'd not been listening about the whole Berserker thing. "Hmm... ok, we'll all make our way to the SR-2 together. Chances are the Berserker will be there. If not, then we can extend our search... or we can get in the Normandy and blow this place back to hell."

Eddie was ready to answer, when it seemed as if he had stopped.
Inside his head, he was given two choices to make.
The first was the Paragon Rocker choice, which was to extend the search if the Berserker wasn't found.
The second was the Renegade ******bag option, which was to chicken out and blow up Thel's ship when they found the Normandy.
Eddie chose the Rocker option.
"If we find your ship, I'll place a flag there so we know where to come back to. We're gonna find the Berserker, and we're gonna kick his ass. Alright, let's ROCK!"
Eddie yelled, pointing forward.

 

Only Shepard knew that he'd just done a rocker Paragon choice, and smiled whilst patting him on the back. "Right, follow me!" He went down the corridor(?) and came across a door. "It won't open..."

Melvin pushed the others aside, "Stand back fellas, this bitch of a door is getting what's coming ot it." He pulled the millennium rod out and ignited the hidden lightsaber, he then jabbed the saber into the door and began forming a circle. "YA SEE THAT DOOR? WHO'S THE MASTER NOWWW?!" He finished the circle and kicked new entrance open. "That's how it's done." Mustang shook his head and followed him through the passage with the others, Shepard leading the way.

Eddie and Siegfried followed Shepard and the others through the door. They couldn't hear it, but there was definitely an air of death flowing through the room.
"Alright, guys. Let's try and keep our cool. If the Berserker shows up from nowhere, we can take him." Eddie said, trying to reassure the others in case they were worried.
"Better yet, I'll make you keep your cool." Eddie said, taking out his guitar. Lightning rode down the neck of the instrument as he readied himself to play a Solo.
He began, sending his fingers from string to string, fret to fret, as the solo sounded through the halls of Thel's ship.
"There. Now, if would be so kind as to take a look at whatever it is you fight with, you'll notice it is glowing orange. For the next hour or so, you've been powered up to badass level!"
Then it hit him. The sound of that Solo echoed through the ships halls, meaning it could have attracted the Berserker.
"Wait a minute...Oh, shit..."
"What's the matter, Edward?" Siegfried asked, still half-marveling at his now glowing sword.
Eddie motioned for him to keep his voice down.
"We need to keep our voices down, I think I might've attracted the Berserker..." Eddie whispered.
