~Crossover Cove~

The Doctor decided to get plot-relevent, and used a still-operative TV screen to go to Yoda and L's location... either that, or he walked.
"Hello, I'm the Doctor." He noticed the girl crying and went down to her, patting her comfortly. "Don't worry, I'm here to help. Trust me. Now... what's the matter?"

 

Lily Strosek​

Lily's face was planted upon her hands. But then this man who went by 'The Doctor' came inside. At the feel of his gentle hands on her back, Lily looked at him, with her tear-streaked face. "He... he's hurting..." That was all the girl could say. ​

 

The Doctor tried another question. "Who is he? Could you take us to him?" He remained... well... as his usual self.

 

Lily Strosek​

Lily took a few seconds to reply. First she pointed to the monitor once more, then spoke telepathically. "It's Thoma... I finally have realized my purpose. Can someone take me to him?" She tried wiping off her tears. ​

 

The Doctor managed to hold back a tear. "Listen, Thoma is going to get hurt... it's because he's hurting his friends. But he dosn't want to." He almost said that she didn't need to see it, but the look in her eyes said that she did. "I'll-- I'll take you to see him. But we can't go to close." With that, the Doctor aimed his sonic at a TV monitor and made it teleport to the Jail's ship, at a window looking out at Thoma.

 

Fang sighed and walked over to Vexen, hitting him across the head. "The least you could do is thank Yoshimitsu for reviving you!!! That shockwave could have killed us!" "Yes, Yoshimitsu, I believe all of us are acccounted for," Hermione said with a sigh, Kisa changed back into her human form and got dressed with help from Harry, now that he had some free time, Harry stood up and asked without looking Ichigo, "Hey, Ichigo, why you would put the needs of our enemy, the U-D, before your own. I mean, sure it's amdirable but is it also risky? What if the U-D tried to kill you?"

 

Ichigo looked at Harry as he asked that question and crossed his arms. "The reason why I put their needs before my own? Because I can sense her sadness just from the look in her eyes, it reminds me of someone I once knew who tried to bury their sorrow by not letting out their emotions to act tough." Ichigo's expression to that of one that shown perhaps sadness or a look that spoke volumes of angst.

"When I gained these powers, I swore to protect those I could, I don't kill my enemies because I'm still a human and if my opponent died because of me, it'd weigh on my consciousness, every fight I fought is life-threatening when those I fight try their utmost to kill me but I just beat them down until they can't fight anymore, I refuse to take another's life, even if it would mean absolute victory." Ichigo closed his eyes.

"It's just not in me, be it my enemy or my own life." He concluded.

 

Harry listened and smiled, "I kinda wish I had that drive in me. I wasn't exactly raised in a loving family and I had recently found out a 'close' friend of my parents betrayed them which led to their deaths. I felt so bad, that I wanted to hurt him and avenge my parents. But what good that do? It wouldn't clear my godfather's false guilt, but what can I do?" Harry couldn't stop the tears that were starting to flow down his face and felt Kisa and Illya grip his clothes and smiled, patting their heads. Hermione and Ron looked at him, then at each other, sighing as they thought over what happened in the Shrieking Shack.

 

Lily Strosek​

"Thank you for being so considerate, Doctor." Lily briefly smiled, but was not completely done crying. "I know you're feeling hurt, Thoma. I'm coming..." Lily thought to herself. She slowly placed her delicate hand on the window. "Doctor, would it be possible for you to teleport me to the other side of this glass?"​

Everyone seemed to have forgotten, but Dearche being a sentient program created from a combination of magic and technology, was too affected by the shockwave, and fell swiftly into the ocean below almost immediately after it happened.
Fortunately she did not fall for long before hitting the top deck of the Saint's Cradle. Of course, since the ship was slowly going down still, that wasn't much help to anyone.

"A better plan; freeze just the outer armour of the ship." Jail stated, nodding slightly and grinning at his own genius. "That will prevent us from taking on any more water than we already have, and as long as we're not taking on an awful lot of mass this thing can still fly. Hope nobody was in the hangar bays though, or they're going to be very wet.
"Also, Shepard, how about taking Oerba Yun Fang to the ship? There'll only be the Servant and the object onboard it by now. Anything more would be long dead, I would imagine. She'd make a fine addition."

Thoma had renewed his assault on -- well, everything -- during the time they had all taken to recover from Divide Zero Eclipse, particularly focusing on Marluxia, who had been mostly unaffected, and was now being registered as the largest threat. One-on-one like this, even with only half a blade his strength was overpowering, and there was little chance of the Nobody winning unless somebody came to help him soon...

"If it's just a short distance, I can do that for you, Lily." Reinforce stated to the girl. "When I was the Book of Darkness I absorbed the Linker Cores of many mages, a few of which were talented in transportations spells."
As Lily indicated she was ready, Reinforce readied her spell, saying the aria to it quietly, before Lily was enveloped in a white emblem, and then vanished, reappearing on the outside of the ship (above the water level).

The duo of Reploids, X and Zero, scanned each of the people who had fallen after the ship shook.
"Are you picking up any anomalies in their genetic structure, Zero?"
"Nothing really, it seems like everyone's life-sustaining major organ just ceased to work after the ship started heading for the ground. Though there was one thing that all the victims had in common." Zero explained.
"And what's that?"
"Each of them had ties to supernatural or mystic arts."
"How'd you come to that conclusion?"
"Each victim's scan results come back with results different to that of a normal human. Subject Naruto Uzumaki, for example, has an internal source of energy called "Chakra", according to the scans. That must be the factor that caused his heart to stop. Same with the subject Johnny Blaze. Some kind of internal supernatural force inside him that causes the change of form is what caused his temporary death."
"Hmm...Interesting. Luckily they were easily revived. So..."
"So...What?"
"Is our mission complete? We've come to the conclusion that the Gundam aren't hostile in any way. We even found that they weren't fully robotic, that they were controlled by humans from the inside."
"I guess so. But remember that we can't head back yet. No signal. Wait a minute..."
"What's the matter, Zero?"
"Something just landed on top of the ship...It's not debris..."
Without another word, X made his way through the pile of characters and up to Jail. He introduced himself, since he had not done so since he got on board.
"Dr. Jail Scaglietti, I am Mega Man X: Maverick Hunter. My partner and I have picked up an unknown impact on this ship's top. We assume it is another affected by the strange force that stopped yours and many other's hearts falling from the sky." X explained.
"With your permission, my partner and I could retrieve whatever it was that landed atop the ship." X requested.
"Also, we are designed to be able to sustain power while submerged in water. Leaving the ship will not harm us."

"What?" Jail said, having never noticed this pair before. "An impact? Sure, you go do that then."
He was taken slightly aback at how damn short the pair were, but decided to not let that bother him too much.

"Thank you, sir. Zero, let's go." X said, running for a conveniently placed escape pod in the back of the ship.
The reploids stepped inside.
"You think our shortness freaked him out?"
"Totally."
The reploids laughed, admittedly out of character, before high-fiving each other.
X activated the escape pod before charging his Mega Buster. The escape pod shot out from the bottom of the ship, where X shot a hole in the side of the pod.
The reploids jumped out from the hole and into the ocean. The two reploids then swam up to the top of the Saint's Cradle, where they found Dearche, laying lifeless atop the ship.
Using their internal comm units, the reploids could communicate with each other underwater without water getting into their internal workings.
"This must be it. Let's get her inside." X said.
"Right. I'll grab her legs, you grab her arms."
X then contacted Jail.
"Dr. Scaglietti, we've found the source of the impact. It looks like a small girl." X explained.
"Can you get us back inside?"

"One moment." Jail replied, as he brought up a console in front of himself, tapping a few buttons, and transporting the three of them back inside. While the two Reploids were perfectly fine, Dearche was completely soaked through, as well as suffering from an accute case of dead.
"Ah. That would be Load Dearche herself. Would you mind, lads?" he asked them, inviting them to do what they could for the Material girl.

"On it. Let's see...Zero, is it just me or is she giving off...Nothing?"
"You're right...Nothing. Nothing but data, that is."
"Data? You mean...She's like a program?"
"Right. But that's not important. We need to get her breathing again." Zero said, placing the tip of his Zero buster on Dearche's chest. He then sent a shock through Dearche's body. This surge was meant to reinitialize any defective programming inside something. It worked on Reploids, so it could work on Dearch, though she was a program, not Reploid. Meaning there was less of a chance of it working.

Nove stepped in after watching the two Reploid's efforts for a short moment. She pushed then gently aside, before leaning over and delivering a small shock to Dearche's body, the same way that Iron Man had done so earlier.
As Dearche started to come to, Nove looked back at them.
"Just because she's a program doesn't mean she's any different in functionality to anyone else. Her body is based off of an ordinary person, so what would work on her, works on Dearche. Think of it like this; the programming works like her soul, and the body works like an ordinary body. The only difference is that damage to the body isn't able to kill the soul, except with certain methods."
Seeing the look she was getting, she rubbed the back of her neck and blushed slightly, realising she'd essentially lectured them on it.
"Sorry. A few friends of mine are like her, I just know how they work is all."

Spluttering and coughing as she woke, Dearche slowly pulled herself into a sitting position, spitting out the water in her lungs as though there was nothing wrong at all.
She stayed there for a moment, looking around for some sign that she was wrong, that Stern and Levi were still there beside her, but she knew it wasn't so. Her wings were still filled with their powers, but nothing more remained of them.

"Your lordship, the battle has paused for the moment, but we know where U-D is. We're in the process of attempting to control Avenir, and we're about to make a move onto the Servant's ship. Once those are done, we'll be attacking U-D directly, and ending this one way or another."
He then squated beside her, bringing himself down to her level and looking her in the eyes seriously.
"I know what it's like to lose ones you love like that, Lord of Darkness. You may wish to take a short rest, make sure you're ready."

Dearche nodded once, quietly, before Jail directed the two Reploid to help her to her room.

It was a strange aspect for the reploids to understand, but they listened nonetheless.
"We may not understand how it works with people like her, but at least you know how to bring her back." Zero said.
Jail then directed X and Zero to bring Dearche to her room.
"If you would come with us, your highness, we will bring you to your room to rest." X said, lending his hand to Dearche.

Mizore nodded at Jail's plan, "Gotcha, I like you hair.." She placed her hands on the floor of the ship, her hair turned to ice as the entire outside of the ship began to freeze over, making it very cold inside. "There, that should do for now." Scar shouted from the table outside the monitor room, "Just don't head for the tropics!"
Mustang crossed his arms looking at a pile of debris that had formed when the ship crashed into the ocean, he snapped his fingers and lit a small fire. "There, any of you who are feeling cold or still partially dead can warm up."
Ciel left the table with his cup and entered the monitor room with the others, Kaiba followed behind. Ignoring the touching moments happening around, Kaiba kneeled beside Derache before she got up. "Nice to see you again shortie, didn't know if we'd ever see you again after you suffered that serious stab wound. Don't go dying this time." He patted her on the back and walked over to Jail, "So. My ship is completed wrecked and likely sinking to the bottom of whatever ocean this is."
Scar shouted again, "Going with Atlantic."
Saix muttered, "Pacific."
Melvin pssshed, "Guys c'mon, Indian ocean."
Mizore shyly spoke, "I think Arctic."
"It has to be the Southern ocean." William adjusted his glasses.
"It doesn't matter what blasted ocean it is!" Ceil raged for a second and resumed sipping his tea. "Kaiba, you could build a ship out of gold blocks with silver laced duct tape holding it together."
"I'm a filthy rich weapons and card game developer, making people pay for stuff is the only thrill I have in life."
Scar walked into the room, "Kaiba, get a chick-" He paused for a moment when he saw Dearche on the ground, he rushed over and stared her down in the eyes, "YOU! Where is my Tome!?" He roared.

 

The Doctor nodded at Reinforce. "That could work, although it's dangerous." He puts his hand on Lily's head and ruffles her hair a little. "I'll be right there beside you."

Joker worked his way back to Doom and co. "So, what do we do this time? Have you got a plan, or has Ferrarri Testarossa here got a plan?"
He asked, even though he had an idea of what was about to happen.

Shepard, now assured that everyone was alright, continued looking for the final recruit for his mission. He turned to the Gundam pilots. "I'll only need one of you... but it seems you're needed here. If I remember someone else volunteered? If so, could they speak up please? If not, then I'd be happy to accept you if you want to come."

 

Now joining the the bunch of characters aboard Jail's ship was Allen, Train, Haseo, Shane, Haru, Hero, Hiro and both version of Flame Kite. The only one who didn't show up was the Mileum Earl, who was currently wandering around on his umbrella Relo.
