~Crossover Cove~

Now knowing who her companion would be in getting Thoma, Fate looked to Marluxia.
"Alright. Let's go, Marluxia." Fate said before activating her Sonic Form.
Fate then flew out of the Cradle, assuming Marluxia was close behind, and towards Thoma, making sure not to go too fast, as that could startle him.
Unsure of how to approach him, Fate decided to call his name.
"Thoma...Thoma Avenir?" She said, trying to sound as non-intimidating as possible (Which quite frankly wasn't that hard for her).
"I need you to come with me...okay?"
Fate stayed at a slight distance, not knowing what could happen.

 

OOC: really trying to keep up with this under my mountain load of work...
My success is failing...
So... just posting as Subaru for now so things can keep going here. I'll try to post as Shirou later.
In all honesty... my time will be hard pressed until May 4th. But I'll do what I can.

At Thoma's words, Subaru finally relinquished her hugging grip from him, except for a lone hand of comfort on his shoulder as she looked around to see who was approaching, and that was when she heard a voice... it was familiar but... something was off...
As she completed her turn and took in the sight of the one who had spoken, her eyes widened in shock. "Fate? Fate T. Harlaown? But..." It was indeed her Instructor's best friend... but... she was young?
Subaru had seen recordings before of Nanoha and Fate's younger days... so she had no doubts this was the same girl... but how was this possible? ...Well, she had been travelling with a time travelling doctor (speaking of which... she did wonder what had happened to him, was this the help he had gotten for her?).. so maybe it was something to do with that? But Thoma was here too along with this young Fate... so... something was seriously up. "Thoma... it's okay. This is Fate... I'm sure... so... just try to stay in control, I know it's hard... but she isn't an enemy." she told him, again, trying to keep him from slipping back into an out of control state.

As the ship began to buckle and twist downwards with the force of Vader's struggle, it's main gun moved itself around, spinning impossibly to be aimed directly at the position where the Sith Lord stood, and began charging with a pinkish light.

"Fate?" he asked, struggling with himself even as Subaru tried to keep him calm. "How can it be... Testarossa-san is older than her."
He sounded unsure, but for now he was staying controlled.
"Why... why do you need me?" he asked the girl as he continued to struggle with the violent urges coming to the surface.

 

"heh. If i had a heart this would be where I'd die of laughter. He said in response to Ciel's words. I want you to continue our original plan. Find someone named Xikru, they're an ally who will be of help in that." With that, he became translucent, petals swirling around him, and flew after Fate. Seeing that Thoma was having trouble containing himself. He was ready to place the count on him and fate on a moment's notice.

Fate waited until Marluxia came up behind him to continue, which he quickly did.
"Yes, it's me, Fate..." She said, pretending to know Thoma.
"And I need your help. The Unbreakable Dark is free, and is gaining power. We need to defeat her fast, before she grows too powerful!"
Fate could tell he was trying to hold back violent urges. She looked to Marluxia.
"If he comes at me without saying anything, do it." Fate whispered.

"Then... how come you're..." Thoma began in response to Fate, before he spotted the other figure, a black-cloaked man, well-built, and looking like death himself. From the moment he saw the other figure, he knew there was no way this could go well for anyone involved.
"Go!" he yelled to Subaru, throwing her away from him with as much strength as he could muster without hurting her, desperate to get her out of harm's way.
Instantly, his form reverted to that of the black-armoured knight, gunblade in hand and eyes inhabited by crosshairs, getting a lock on the pair that were before him. With a great shout, he flicked the weapon out infront of himself, taking aim on the pair as energy built up rapidly in the barrel of the weapon.
"DIVIDE ZERO!" he screamed, the massive build-up of energy launching towards them both, loudly tearing apart even the molecules of air in the distance between them.

 

Marluxia had just enough time to place the count on Thoma before they were stuck by the blast of charged energy. Thanks to it, they both emerged from it completely unscathed. The count now being at 52. He then placed one on Fate, to increase her odds even should Thoma break his count.

 

"No! Thoma!" Subaru exclaimed as she was pushed back, and Thoma reverted to his mad frenzy.
She stared at him in despair before looking down, her heart heavy. "...I'm sorry, Thoma. I'll save you... I promise. Just trust me." she mumbled her resolve to herself.
Suddenly, her head shot up and she charged forwards towards the boy. "Let's go Mach Calibur!"
"Roger!"
Subaru's arm lashed out, grabbing Thoma's sword with her bare hand once his attack had finished. She grit her teeth as she poured strength into her fist... "YAAAAAAAAHH!" and proceeded to somehow snap the the weapon clean in two.



But... knowing the nature of the Eclipse virus... this was sadly just the beginning of what was going to be a painful, heart-wrenching battle for them.

Fate held Bardiche up to block Thoma's incoming attack. She could feel the blast hit them, yet there was no pain or even any force behind it. She then saw the number above Thoma's head, a black 52.
"That must be Marluxia's Defensive ability he was talking about... Fate thought.
Right afterwords, Marluxia placed the same effect on Fate, her number a black 50.
Fate was about to lead Thoma to U-D, when the girl that he pushed away, Subaru, came back and snapped his weapon in two. Fate assumed now would be the best time to try and reason with him.
"Thoma, you have to listen to me! U-D is growing stronger and stronger the longer we stay here. You have to come and help defeat her!" Fate yelled, hoping she would get through to him somehow.

Thoma came at Marluxia at incredible speed, straight through the explosion that had enveloped both opponents, swinging his blade brutally at the Nobody, striking him but seemingly doing no harm more than decreasing the number above his head.
"Targets are immune to standard assault." the Bible of Silver Cross stated from beside Thoma, having appeared there when he re-engaged psuedo-react.
"Altering tactics."
He kicked back, getting distance between himself and the pink-haired reaper, before another magic circle appeared around his feet, and countless pages spewed from the book, almost blocking out the sun with their numbers. Each one radiated with energy, as though preparing to--
"Silver Sta--" he yelled, before he was suddenly cut off by Subaru snapping his Divider in half easily.
"Damage sustained! Continued combat is limited to ranged manouvres only until repairs can be initiated!"
"Silver Stars!" he renewed, the pages glowing brightly once again, having been dimmed only for a second.
"Hundred Million!"
The sky became a hailstorm of blazing energy, as the move rained down on the area around them, bullets arcing through the air in order to be headed directly for Marluxia and Fate, though still ignoring Subaru for now.
Immediately, he took off, flying in the opposite direction to the three of them, at a speed that only Fate or Subaru would be able to match, at a push.

OOC: Of course, Marly can teleport so... yeah.

Marluxia looked up at the thousands of pages swarming the sky. Each one would count as a shot. If they took that, it'd be all over in seconds. He immediately flew over to fate as fast as he could and shoved her through a corridor of darkness. From where it let out, off in the distance, the pages could be seen raining down onto the ground. They seemed to be homing, but at that distance, they had time to ready themselves for the oncoming assault. Hope that sonic form of yours is fast. It was then an idea struck him. They likely couldn't track them across dimensions. So, through a gust of flowers, he and fate were transported into his alternate dimension. To wait out the attack.

 

"Thoma!" Subaru called out after him. "Damn..." she slammed her fist into the side of her leg in frustration. Her head lowered, her hair covering her eyes... "...Gear Excelion." she murmured quietly as she unleashed the full power and final form of her device. A magic circle appeared beneath her as an aura of energy surrounded her and glowing blue wings of light appeared around her skates, much like Nanoha's flyer fin.
"ACS Standby" Mach Calibur proclaimed in response to having it's final form unleashed.
Subaru couldn't afford to hold back anymore... and even still, she had one trick left in her arsenal just in case... Without waiting for the others, she took off at a new found speed only possible from her having released her Excelion mode, chasing quickly after Thoma.

As the barrage of incoming bolts approached the two, Fate readied herself.
"It's fast enough. Now let's go after him!" Fate said. However, right before she could move, Marluxia had brought them to a weird dimension of some sort.
"Marluxia, where did you take us?" Fate asked, looking around.

 

The one place we can survive an assault like that. If you got hit by those, which you would, the count on you would drop to 0 almost immediately. Which would mean near certain death. We'll wait out the attack here, then i'll open a corridor to a fair distance in the direction he headed and we'll find him from there. Hopefully he won't use it again..." Marluxia explained to her.

As his Silver Stars sruck the ocean harmlessly, Thoma continued on, being rapidly caught up on by Subaru even at this speed. He spun around and threw five or so more Silver Stars at her, before arcing straight up and going vertical, where it would be difficult for her to follow, or so he thought.

"Stern, collecting Avenir has gone badly." Jail reported to the Material over the commlinks.
She paused for a long while, thinking, before she nodded to herself.
"Very well. Thank you." she said, before closing her eyes and channeling her power into Luciferion, as Levi woke up and watched. Her vermillion magic circle glowed intensely, as she focused carefully on one thing, and brought it -- nay, her -- back into this world.

In moments, a high-pitched laughter was heard, as the Lord of Darkness, Load Dearche, was living once more, at only slightly decreased power levels for the time being.
"Wow!" Levi exclaimed, overjoyed. "King! It's so good to see you again! Are you alright, areyouhurtareyouhappycanwekillsomething?!"
"Levi had a hard time coping in our absence." Stern stated to their king, as Levi protested.
"So I heard." Dearche replied haughtily, before grinning at Stern. "So thanks to your set-up, we can obtain U-D with the Tome, and then I will have the true power that I deserve, correct?"
"Yes. That is so. The others are already readying themselves to help pacify U-D when neccessary. Until then, there are still Dark Pieces around this area that may need to be dealt with while we wait for Scaglietti's plan to fall into place."
"Hmhmhm... good. These Dark Pieces will be a good excersize after reviving so suddenly. Stern! Levi! Move out!"

 

After a decent amount of time had passes, Marluxia spoke." "Hopefully they've finished. We can't waste any more time or we'll lose Avenir."He said to fate, Opening a corridor of darkness a little ways ahead of where Thoma and Subaru where.

~~Castle Oblivion~~

While Riku was searching frantically for his friend, Xikru was looking for something else. "Hmph..Doesn't look like he's here... Said the nobody. "Last time i saw him was when he was shipped off to Castle Oblivion..."

 

Subaru continued forwards at great speed, weaving in and out of Thoma's shots and punching through the last with her Revolver Knuckle. She bought her hand back, and ignitioned several cartridges as she prepared to launch one of her signature attacks. All the while closing the distance between her and Thoma.
"I'm sorry Thoma! ...DIVINE!! BUUUUUUSSTTEEEEEEERR!" and she punched forth at point blank range in front of Thoma's face, her divine buster's magic crest appearing and then launching the powered up magical attack from her Excelion Mode.
...The dust cleared...
and Thoma was unharmed... "...What?" Subaru looked on with a hint of surprise. The only change that had occurred was the number above Thoma's head had decreased by one.
Other than that, he was fine... and admittedly, Subaru was partially relieved that he wasn't hurt. She still loved the poor boy after all.

Without a word, Fate sped through the corridor, coming out near Subaru and Thoma. Subaru was chasing Thoma, who was trying to get rid of her by shooting at her and flying upwards.
"After him!" But before she could get any closer, Subaru fired off her Divine Buster at Thoma. Surprisingly, Thoma was unharmed.
"That curse is amazing..." She said before calling to Subaru.
"Stop attacking him, if the number hits zero, he'll die!"

~Doom's Flying Fortress~

While Wesker stood silently underneath his armor, a sudden spark could be felt in his new Linker Core. It was a familiar feeling, and he figured out what is was quickly.
"Well, well. Look who's back. Heh heh." Wesker chuckled, feeling Dearche's presence.

 

"At which point enough harm will befall his so that he will be defeated." Marluxia continued on Fate's statement as he stepped out of the corridor.

OOC: Got bored, did plot.

Thoma struck back at Subaru with the broken blade, before firing a heavy shot at her, knocking her back down a good distance.

The three 'true' Dark Pieces were dealt with quickly, with the Materials being triumphant over their respective opponents easily.
Watching over U-D as the other two Materials hovered alongside her, Stern imparted her knowledge to them.
"While we have been delaying... U-D has powered up by eight percent. She's currently at about 18% of her full capability, stronger that even Avenir would be able to cope with alone."
"So I'm guessing an all-out direct assault with the three of us wouldn't be of use..."
"That is correct."
"Well then stand clear, and I'll give her a taste of Juggernaut. Long-range magic should be enough to--"
"No. I will handle this, you should hold back your strength for the final confrontation. U-D has reached a point where any kind of assault from the three of us would be useless. This is why I recruited Jail Scaglietti, and the others, and helped them towards our own goals. There is only one thing to do now; prevent U-D's power from rising any further, and perhaps decrease it, if I am able."
She looked down for a moment, away from the other two.
"Even if that means sacrificing my form."
"What?! This isn't a matter of luck, you know?! U-D can destroy our system codes, and if she does that, there's no coming back from--!"
"Exactly!" Stern snapped back suddenly, stunning the other two. "If you're destroyed before we have enough strength gathered to stop her, then what hope do we have?! You and the Tome are the only way to stop her, and you know that! Once you're gone, it's all over. I'm sorry. Rubeliette."

Levi and Dearche were suddenly bound tightly in a bind each, preventing them from moving at all.
"H-How dare you?!"
"What are you doing?!"
"Levi, I leave the king's protection in your hands. Keep her safe."
With that, Stern flew off towards U-D, preparing for what was to come.
