I'm liking this team-up more and more. Doom is going to be one happy monarch once he sees Jail come back with his warship.

Question: how do you make a transparent background in GIMP? I'm starting to work on new banners for all my characters.

 

For the banners I made(Dr. Doom, Siegfried, Nightmare, X and Zero), the pictures already had transparent backgrounds to begin with. What I do most of the time is go to Google Images and search "(insert character name here) render". Most of the time I get a background-less picture (By background-less I mean completely transparent, no white, no nothin').

As for making them transparent yourself, that's a tad bit more in-depth and sometimes doesn't come out the way you want it.

 

Layers > Right click layer > Add Alpha Channel
Done.

Did you want a quick tutorial? I'm sure I can find one for you.
But for transparenting the background, you should highlight the area you DON'T want deleting, then right click > selection > invert selection > press delete
If you've clicked "Add Alpha Channel" before that, it should come up with a checkerboard like pattern. That's good; that's transparency. You then need to save it as a .png file, or else it'll lose that transparency.

Unless after this arc, we aren't taking a break from our usual characters and show when the other characters of our characters' respective series doing while they're away. Because I had a idea for the remaining students of Hogwarts. |3

Plus that was going to be the only intermission that would have been like that. The others would have had completely different things to do.
Also I think the next arc might be mine, depending on where we go with this one. Yessssss.

 

True enough. I thought there might be a intermission somewhere in the rp, but I know it isn't the Ultimate Crossover. Though I miss it, I don't mind. I'm just curious this arc is going to end.

 

Well I think we have plans as to how it will end, but we'll see. I do know that if I get an arc it will play out similar to Ultimate Crossover.
Also; the way I'd do it, people can drop a couple of characters between the arcs if they want. No need to feel pressured into keeping everyone if you don't want to. :3
And we could probably have an intermission if you wanted. I don't think Droid would have a problem with it.

Oh hey I just realized that Tifa and Sango are lost and currently I have no idea whats going on with the group with Carrie...

 

Feel free to just post as them anywhere then. I think they were somewhere on Sky City though.

 

Well Inuyasha does need his screen time as wwell as Tifa and Sango basically.
