No. If there's spaceships, they're crahsed on Disgaea's surface, not in the sky.

 

I have no idea which characters to bring in until Gretchen is done with.

 

Gretchen won't be done with for a very long time. Until near the Arc's end. There's no restrictions on who you can bring in; they just can't have a working spaceship.

 

Not until a lot later?! Does this mean the nightmares will go on, or does everyone wake up at a certain time before she's dead?
