It would be easier to tell you if your characters were available or not if you included what they're from in their reservations.

BIU, that is a species, not a character. You cannot reserve a species.

 

Problem with 'nids is they don't have characters. Sure they have special units like the Swarmlord or Ol' One Eye but they aren't technically characters. Besides realistically they wouldn't be deployed right away, the Swarmlord for example only gets sent out when when standard Tyranid strategies of physical and biological adaption fail, and it's not like anything has happen to the Nids in story that would warrent the Swarmlord's creation. Even anything the closes thing to a character the nids have is their own Hive Mind but that is again a species wide thing so I might as well reserve the whole species.

I understand the problem here so let's work together on this.

You're misunderstanding.
You can bring in the Tyranids as a force, but you cannot have exclusive control over them. Anyone can use them in their posts freely once they're brought in. But they're not a character, and therefore can't be reserved.

They can be brought in. If it's by you, fine. If it's by somebody else, also fine, so long as it's confirmed through me first.

 

Okay, makes sense. I kinda had hoped to reserved them now so I could use them at a latter date. Planning and all that. But obviously reserving them is waaaaaaaay out the window. So is it possible I could reserve rights to bring them in?

 

Eh, since they don't have a controller like Gravemind or Harbinger I suppose that's fine. Keep them on your list for now (as a reminder you need to bring them in at some point) and we'll talk later when you want to bring them into the picture.
