    I'm calling him just Santa for convenience, but he's essentially a joke character. Santas from other series (except the Pokémon one, reasons for which will be explained later) are still perfectly legit.

    What I meant was more of a "All myths are true" kind of thing; his personality is derived from all Santas you've heard of, ever. The actual things are totally legit though, this is just the "real" Santa.
