Additional Info: Mantorok is an Ancient known as the "Corpse God" and the "God of Chaos" and is the only Ancient known to have a physical presence on Earth. Its minions are tinged black and its magick is purple. It is described as the "Keeper of the Ancients" and maintains equilibrium among the other three Ancients. Mantorok draws its power from death, decay and entropy, and corrodes the universe just by existing. However, it opposes the three villainous Ancients, and used to be a fertility god to the region around its temple. Its magick can restore both health and sanity, and Mantorok-aligned spells have unique abilities.

Additional Info: Ulyaoth is one of the four Ancients. Ulyaoth's powers focus on magick and the dimensional planes, and even his artifact, the Veil of Ulyaoth, fades from dimension to dimension, "never really existing but never really not." His servants are tinged blue and they specialize in magickal damage. His magickal abilities can suppress the sheer power of Chattur'gha. Yet he ends up at the mercy of the maniacal Xel'lotath.

Additional Info: Xel'lotath is one of the four Ancients. Her powers focus on the mind and insanity: her underlings are tinged green, and have an affinity for affecting sanity. Xel'lotath has two voices due to either a split personality, or simply insanity. With her vast mind, she can cripple the machinations of Ulyaoth. However, her mind-corrupting powers are no match for the mighty Chattur'gha.

Additional Info: Chattur'gha is one of the four Ancients. The Being of Matter, Chattur'gha focuses on physical strength and resilience: his troops are characterized by their skinless, muscular bodies, and focus on physical attacks and toughness. Chattur'gha is crustacean-like in appearance and has two mouths, one within the other, as well as two large claws. Said claws might also double as mouths, as the interiors resemble hard and soft pallettes. With his brute strength, he can eradicate the insanity of Xel'lotath. But he himself is conquered by the sorcery of Ulyaoth.

Additional Info: Pious was a Roman Centurion in his late 20s, at war in Ancient Persia in 26 BC. When he and fellow soldiers started looking for artifacts as Requested by the Emperor, Pious starts hearing voices calling for him. Pious follows the voices and finds several strange spires in the desert, and upon doing so, he is transported into an ancient temple known as the Forbidden City. He fights his way through several Mantorok zombies, destroys a statue of himself, and then finds three powerful artifacts, each representing one of the three Ancients. The power of the artifact he chooses turns Pious into a liche, becoming stronger or smarter under the power of the Ancient whose artifact he had selected. But because of the shenanigans involving Disgaea there are no less then three Piouses running about, one working for Chattur'gha, Xel'lotath, and Ulyaoth each.

Additional Info: Bianca lives in the starting town of Nuvema Town, and is also a childhood friend of the player (and soon-to-be-rival). She is described as being 'flighty' by Professor Juniper and Cheren; though she also has a strong side, as shown when she embarks on a Pokémon journey despiteher father's strong opposition. This is emphasized in Nimbasa City, where her father disallows her to become a Pokémon Trainer. With the help of Nimbasa City Gym Leader Elesa, Bianca convinces her father to let her follow her dream.
In keeping with the theme of truth and ideals often seen in Black and White, Bianca represents those who pursue truth—this is highlighted when N comments, "Poor Bianca has faced the sad truth that not everyone can become stronger". She often admits that she is not a strong Trainer compared to the player and Cheren; and thinks about what she can do in life (whereas Cheren is seen to ponder about what he should do). Later in the game, she decides to research and learn more about Pokémon with Juniper.
Like the player and Cheren, Bianca receives a starter Pokémon as a gift from Professor Juniper at the start of the game; she chooses the Pokémon with a type disadvantage to the player's starter Pokémon. The player encounters Bianca on several occasions, where she often challenges the player to a battle.
